Fantastic Gyros & Pizza. Unlike many other local gyro spots, the Baklava was not only available for purchase...but also delicious. Friendly staff from the Point of Sale to the order completion. Okay for gyros this place is the bomb, and the fries are good, I like show string fair type fries, so I really like them. Now the pizza I ordered was just meh, they do have a load of vegan and Gluten free options, which in this day and age is a plus. The service was quick and organized, the actual pizza shop is just that, a pizza shop, really not a dine in. Order, pick it up. In the inside They have a clean and smooth running pizza shop it seems, they were closing at 8, so I was the last order of the day, so they were prepping and cleaning up and there may have been more pick up orders, but I do know they had early close times. The best vegan pizza I've had. I ordered delivery, so I can't comment on the actual place. However, the pizza was delicious. The veggie, buffalo chikn, and pickle pizza were all super yummy. Chicken is the absolute best!!! We usually just get the dark meat and it's so juicy. I would also recommend the coleslaw. Yummy!

We wanted to try a new pizza place and the reviews and pictures sent us to Athenas. Now, to be honest, I'm impressed. Not as greasy as I would like, but the taste of the cheese is very good, the pepperonis are big and tasty (definitely not the pepperoni a lot of other pizza places use) and the sauce was savory and not sweet like some others pizza sauces (I don't care for sweet sauce). But I am warning you now: DO NOT GET MUSHROOMS. Their mushrooms are WAY too thick and is very off putting compared to the rest of the pizza. They are literally like half an inch thick. I am a huge fan of mushrooms on pizza but I picked every single one off. But I would absolutely get Athena's again and just stick with the pepperoni or maybe fry bacon. None of the that Americana hodge podge car trinket toys whatever everywhere. Really good customer service. I ordered salads, and it's fresh romaine lettuce through the whole salads. None of that fresh romaine on top and crappy iceberg lettuce underneath restaurants love to do. The homemade Greek salad dressing is delicious. Pizza and fried chicken were amazing. The chicken is exceptional and the fresh cut fries are great. This is one of our go to pick up meals. Gyros and subs are very tasty. We had Athenas for the first time last night. I'm giving 4 stars because, while everything was delicious and the service was great, our pizza was really undercooked. We had asked for extra cheese on our pizza, which upon opening the box, looked AMAZING. Then I took a bite and the dough seemed soggy and undercooked. Food was always good, WHEN you could get past a horrible person answering the phone on the weekends and could actually order food. No success either connecting to anyone answering the phone until the third call. Answered, didn't speak then hung up. Call back yielded the annoying fax screeching. Third call yielded an answering human who couldn't have been less motivated to take the order, spoke so quickly that he was unintelligible, then wanted to play games with what he incorrectly perceived was the menu I was looking at vs. the info. he was operating from. It's too bad we had to take our food dollars elsewhere but, after the phone experience, we felt that there was no hope that the food would live up to it's remembered high quality. Got the meatlovers pizza. Was pretty good. Ordered a gyro as well. Portion size of gyro was horrible. The pizza was small as well but was yummy.
