    Slice of Sicilian
    John M.

I ordered a large Sicilian with pepperoni and sausage for takeout. I'd definitely recommend this pizza for just novelty sake. I don't know any other place in the area that makes a pizza like this that tastes good. The staff were very friendly, genuine, down to earth, and welcoming. They made me feel like I was in their family kitchen. Overall, the pizza was delicious. The baked cheese on top and slightly crispy crust on the bottom were tasty and reminded me of the baked Italian dishes from a local Italian restaurant many people could name. The cheese was milky, stingy, and thick. Thick! Lots of cheese! The sausage was spicy but I could barely discern the flavor the pepperoni. I tried to discern a flavor in the red sauce and it just seemed like a normal red sauce. I think there were a few tomato chunks in the sauce. The dough had a very soft doughy texture, probably because it was buried under so much cheese.

From the business name you can't tell it's a Pizza place but I'm sure the name is well known among locals. We are so happy to have stumbled upon this little pizza place. From the outside it seems like it's been here for Long time which is great! Ample parking in front of the store. I didn't see any tables inside that you can eat at. I think this is take out and delivery only. We got a small Deep Dish Sicilian Pie Pizza. My picture doesn't do it justice I should have taken some from the side but my fingers were covered in pizza goodness! It was cooked perfectly and filled with pepperoni, ham, bacon and sausage with melted cheese on top and the crust was chewy and crunchy. So much flavor and so filling. We ordered a small but because it was thick I could only eat 2 slices. The wings were excellent as well and coated in a delicious BBQ sauce. The sub was really huge, tasty and stuffed with fillings. A great deal for $8.50. We waited about 20 min for our order and it was well worth the wait absolutely delicious!

I was born and raised in Chicago. I have been dying to find a good slice in the area. This PLACE IS AMAZING. Seriously some of the best pizza I have ever had and definitely the best pizza I have had in Ohio...

Remembered to take a pic only after the feeding began. Lol

It's a small place and we thought we'd have to wait but luckily a couple were leaving so we got seats at the bar. It would have been worth the wait. We picked a couple drinks off the menu and they were incredibly beautiful and tasted divine. The pizza we ordered had anchovies and pepperoni and I swear it's the best wood fired pizza I've ever had. I wanted another drink and asked the bartender to make me a rum drink of their choice. Within minutes some amazing concoction, it was smoking inside a glass dome of some sort. The garnish was a flamed cinnamon stick and orange rind that looked like a sword. It was incredible. The vibe is nice and patrons are friendly. It's not loud, so you can carry on a conversation, and the music was nice. There is a cute little back room with tables too for groups of 2-4 people. Parking is plentiful on the street and nearby parking lots. Within walking distance of other bars and restaurants. Up and coming area. I can't recommend the Oak & Olive enough and I can't wait to go back.

Thankfully someone came out and opened it and said they have been having issues with the door so that was a funny start to the evening! We were seated quickly though and service was excellent. Our server, unfortunately I forget the gentleman's name, was one of the best I have ever had. He informed us it was happy hour until 6pm which was $2 off most of the appetizers so that was a welcome surprise! We ended up ordering three appetizers (whipped feta dip, broken onion rings, and jerk fries) and a half goat cheese salad. All was good, especially the house made dressings! The salad came with a mustard vinaigrette which was really nice and I also asked for a cup of the house white French. The white French was so good...I ended up dipping the onion rings in that instead of what they came with! The onion rings needed a little salt but I liked that they were broken. The jerk fries were all super small which was a little odd and made them a touch difficult to eat. Also the seasoning was a bit too sweet for me. The whipped feta dip was good, but heavy, and the salad was nice. All in all I would come back for the atmosphere and service and would try some different items. Thank you for a nice evening, Divine Food Spirits Wine!

Hidden Gem in Cuyahoga Falls!…read more We stumbled upon Divine after discovering Darby's 59 had a 40-minute wait--and I'm so glad we did. This place was a fantastic surprise from start to finish. The drinks alone were worth the stop. I ordered the creamy espresso martini and it was phenomenal--smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. My husband had the "Enlightened," a vanilla whiskey-based cocktail, and it was equally impressive. For appetizers, I went with the coconut shrimp--crispy, golden, and paired with a sweet-tangy dipping sauce that was spot-on--while my husband chose the French onion soup, which was deeply flavorful and comforting. We both ordered the filet mignon special of the day, topped with onion rings and served with broccoli, and wow... absolutely incredible. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the onion rings were crisp and savory, and everything on the plate felt thoughtfully prepared. Our waitress mentioned that about 90% of the food is made from scratch, which definitely shows. Add in live music on Saturdays and you've got the recipe for a perfect night out. Delicious food, creative cocktails, and a cozy atmosphere--Divine just earned a permanent spot on our go-back list. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

It was pretty basic. Two peperoncini peppers and a radish adorned the top. There were four sticks of salami, no pepperoni or ham and the salad was covered with cheese. Both entrées were just ok. The bread was great and served warm. Our waitress was attentive w/o being a bother. They finally accept credit cards albeit with a surcharge.
