Then I had to go back because the impressions were not correctly and rejected by the company I was working with to have custom ear molds done. So I went back with directions and specifics with a video and documents from the manufacturer of what they were looking for and had (2) more done. They were rejected again. At having to go back a 3rd time I was told I would get a "discounted rate" to have them done. For obvious reasons I didn't go back and went to another Audiologist. So basically in my opinion I paid $206 for a failed service/result with clear expectations. I'd highly suggest going somewhere else.

I went to Dr. Mixson due to Tinnitus (ringing in my ears). He suggested a "Comprehensive Audiometry" and the famous "Diagnostic Laryngoscopy." I told Dr. Mixson I didn't want the scope down my nose because served no purpose. The total amount billed was $1,080. Does anyone think someone should walk out of the office after being told no help for Tinnitus with a $1,080 bill? Insurance paid $437.68 and the amount billed to me was $360.24. I've paid part of that. Now, they are sending me to Collections through Carter & Young. If you visit this office as a Senior Citizen on Fixed Income, be sure and ask what you will be billed. I find it unbelievable that someone can perform procedures without full disclosure of the cost. Be Aware of this Office's practices.

After having nasal infection and severe impaction, I visited this (the 5th in my journey for help). No X-rays. No lab cultures. Told me sinus'' don't bleed. Dr (plastic surgeon) said I had scar tissue and inflammation. Would not remove mucus and blood. Finally found that there was NO scar tissue. They COULD and should have cut and suctioned out the massive amount of accumulated mucus and blood, thereby eliminating a lot of pain, disfigurement and health issues. Not feeling that they don't deserve a malpractice suit.

i cannot say enough good things about dr. chisolm. he is the best doctor i've ever had by far…read more his knowlege and expertise are way above average. his bedside manner is excellent. his nursing staff is kind and professional. he is able to do a lot of testing right in his office. he sees you in a timely manner and is able to electronically order your prescriptions. he always remembers what's going on with you. i was really impressed when i came to his office 45 minutes before they opened with food poisoning and he was able to get me a hospital bed reserved while he stabilized me until a friend was able to drive me to the hospital. most of all, dr. chisolm really listens.
