A big, thoughtfully decorated window invites one in where you will find a divine collection of childrens' clothing, accessories, books, toys and other items bound to delight any youngster. The selection is good without being overwhelming and while more pricey than, say, Walmart or similar stores, I think you get excellent value for what you are getting. Some of the lines they carry come from England and are just adorable. And it isn't just for girls - I have got things for my now almost 2 year old nephew which were original and charming. In the back by the check out area, there is a display of some lovely jewelry, bags, and other pretty things for Mom or Grandma too. Or in my case, Auntie! I got two beautiful necklaces and some earrings on my first visit. The owner and her mother run it together and both are just delightful. I've had some excellent conversations there while checking out. Young mothers with babies are often to be found there and it is a warm and welcoming place. They often have sales and weather permitting a table of interesting items outside. Whether you are shopping for a new baby or a five year old, you will find something here that is unique, well made and just what you didn't know you were looking for. Check it out! She asked me how many I needed and I told her I would need four. I explained that I lived an hour away and she stated she would hold them for me, asking me for my name. I drove an hour with my children (one of whom is profoundly disabled). My son was super excited, but when we got there the two girls said they just started their shift and could not find the items. They texted a group chat and told us that the girls who were on the shift before them were new hires. They stated one of them replied "maybe" when asked if they spoke with me. I showed her my call log and the girls apologized. My son ended up sick from car ride / anxiety over the situation, vomiting at the exit and we quickly had to leave. I did reach out to the store owner. She claimed she was out of town and would call me back the following day. Days later I never heard from her so I followed up in email. Instead of being apologetic for the situation and not calling me back she proceeded to shift blame and gaslight me. She said they would never agree to hold and that I should "plan ahead". I don't recommend a store whose owner does not value their customers. I am deeply disappointed in her response to what happened.

Then I went to the Market Street location in Lynnfield to get a work sweatshirt for my husband and a salesperson, who I think was also manager named Anthony helped me. I never write reviews, but he was really fantastic and deserves a shoutout! First, the way he was dressed was so fashionable and cool. And he was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I haven't ever associated Carhartt with being anything else but workman kind of clothing, but after Anthony helped me find an item for my husband, he sucked me right in and showed me clothing that would work for me! He put together a few cute outfits and demonstrated how to make them stylish. The best part is they are super comfortable. I ended up spending way more than I intended, but the clothing is very well made and I think will be long-lasting. Anthony told me the process of how they make everything and it was really impressive, also the quality is obvious. I know this from my husband, that's why he wears it for work, but I never thought I would wear the clothing as part of my daily outfits and I am grateful for Anthony's assistance. I have 2 nieces and several friends with children. Carter's has always been my go to for gifts and…read morejust to spoil them. However, I won't be shopping there any longer. Their "Carter's cash" promo is FRAUDULENT. The email says"$20 or $25+ purchase" - it's false advertising! On Wed, I spent 1/2 an hour shopping only to get to the register and have them tell me I have to spend $50 to use the full $20 rewards cash. If I spend less than $50 they would only let me use $10 rewards. It doesn't say that in the email w/ my rewards cash. As I mention, it said $25+ purchase. I wasted 30 minutes of my time shopping for bowl reason. The manager and the 2 employees at the register agreed with me that it says $25 or more and nothing about spending $50. Still, they wouldn't honor the deal. I left the clothes at the register and left the store forever I used to work in retails and know mgrs can override a transaction to honor a misprinted price or promo. Currently, I work in advertising and know the attorney general issues fines for false advertising. I'm incredibly disappointed by that experience.
