Best quality of clothes that I can't get enough of! Since I know my size in their clothing, I do a lot of online shopping. No issues majority of the time, but once in awhile there may be a rare flaw or mishap. The employees here at this store are very friendly and accommodating with returns. Love shopping here for my athletic apparel! Their staff is super helpful. Leggings from this a brand are so snug and but the problem being different styles vary in the sizes greatly. And the material is tailored for workouts and is breathable. However, I'd appreciate if they introduce cotton leggings! Can't beat that comfort offered by cotton! OMG could they get any worse!! Went on a Saturday when the store had many shoppers but was by no means packed. No one greeted us - or any other customer- no offer of help or suggestions , did not even mention that they had a rare promotion going on. The staff on the floor were either glued to their phones or gossiping with staff from some local cycle place that was in store promoting their business Changing room was a disaster - or perhaps a shop lifters paradise. One bored girl working who was too busy playing with her hair to help - had to find my own changing room rather than wait fir one to be assigned ( and advised other shoppers who lined up trying to find help to do the same or they would be waiting all day ) room full of clothes from other shoppers so clearly no check what was going in or coming out !! One poor women was yelling for help with a size then pointedly made a parting comment that she had found what she needed herself ! My husband found sizes for us - but at this point I was so ticked off and over it that I put everything I liked in my online shopping cart , and ordered that way avoiding a probably poor and excruciatingly slow check out process ! I am disappointed and at the same time elated with this store. My third visit in since Christmas and guess what, nobody said hello, how are you, may we help you? Nothing, not a word. Just last weekend, I would have dropped $100-$150 for my daughter, the previous two visits at least $200 per visit on my wife. Since they wouldn't acknowledge me, I don't know the exact size I need but I feel like you could pull up our information on the computer or maybe I could log into my wife's app by phone. Regardless, the way you ignore men in the store makes it easier for us not to spend money there. With a Bass Pro so close, that is not a good practice. I know the Athleta at Park Meadows Mall in south Denver never treated me like that and neither will Nordstroms. Which is where we ended up going. Nordy's is the best place to go, in my opinion. read more

I have been loyal to Athleta and have recommended them to my students (yoga instructor) for years. Unfortunately, I've been to the La Cantera location three times since moving to San Antonio in Dec 2019 and will not be back. Every time I have visited the location I have been treated like I was an inconvenience by the staff and this trip I threatened. I happened to be shopping with my family and my toddler was making it difficult for us. The manager and another employee threatened to revoke my instructor discount if I used it to make a purchase for my family member. I wasn't trying to do this, I was simply trying to shop and struggling. It's hard enough being a mom to an active toddler without employees threatening me. This store just lost my business. I'll order my items online from now on. Do yourself a favor and skip this location. read more

The La Cantera staff is always welcoming but not pushy! This clothes is an investment for me and they always make sure I find the pieces that are perfect for me. I have always been a huge fan of Athleta clothing online, and am typically one of those who likes to avoid malls at all cost-LOL! Anyhow, I went into their store because I knew there were some items that needed to be "tried on" in order to get the right fit (I've ordered on line tons and have purchased shirts that were too big). Anyway, I'm glad I did go by the store after work this day. I was pleased to be waited on by a very nice woman (Beth) who understood just what I might be looking for as well as clearly understood the way I want my clothes to fit. After seeing me select a couple of shirts and showing me to a changing room, she brought me a couple of other items just in case the ones I picked didn't quite work out. She "got" that I wasn't into spending my time hanging out and trying on clothing all day. I went in, found just what I need (quickly) and got out...Just wanted to acknowledge this person's astute sense of customer service...not always the case. Athleta is my favorite work-out clothing, hands down. Lululemon is a bit pricier and I find the quality the same. Now for this particular store, I've been multiple times. Sometimes I am greeted when I enter and sometimes I am not. Nonetheless, I've always had a good experience. The women who work there are very friendly if I need advice or need a question answered. I love how they do not bother you when you are trying something on, unlike their competitors (Lululemon) who throw a million pairs of tights at you after you tell them your size. I like how I feel good about coming into this store. I am never intimidated about coming here and I usually find something to buy (most of the time on the sale rack). read more

I'm sorry to see someone had a 1 star review for this place. I did notice that when I entered they did not say hello, but I went up to the counter to check my balance on my gift card. The lady was friendly and did ask if I needed anything. This was my 1st time coming to this store location, and actually the store it's self. I am very very impress with the service and quality of the clothes. The employee were very helpful and they are never standing still. They are constantly moving around making improvements on the store, or put things back. The clothes are great. You are looking at spending a minimum of $50.00. There are things on sale as well that will be a little less than 50. The quality of the clothes is wonderful!!! I do not know how they compare to LuLu Lemon, but they will give them a run for their money. What I also like about their clothes is they are Fair Trade Agreement. They get their product in a way with integrity. I will most definitely come there again. Highly recommend if you need any workout clothes. read more

The problem is when I went in I was not greeted or even asked if I needed help. If anything I felt like I didn't belong there, I was made to feel like I was doing something wrong.
