She asks a lot of direct questions to ensure she is giving you the appropriate therapeutic exercises, both in the office and when you leave. She is firm, yet gentle. I will warn you, physical therapy is not going to cure you overnight. It is also not necessary going to be easy or feel good right away, but it is completely worth your quality of life from doing it. If you are willing to look at all of the physical therapy options available, I highly recommend calling her.

I specifically made an appointment with Integrated Health Solutions because I hoped to treat my pain with acupuncture. Boy, am I sure glad I did. I first met with Dr. Charbel explaining what I was feeling, and after examining my arm he wrote up a treatment plan for me with specific goals and a timeline. He explained what the treatment would look like and how many appointments I may need. Over the next several visits of acupuncture and tissue massage, I learned that Dr. Charbel is not only a top notch doctor, but also he is a caring, compassionate human being. He is someone I have come to trust knowing that he truly has my best interests in mind. Best of all, his treatment plan worked. My pain is gone! They focus on strengthing and repairing the body as it was before or even better. The receptionist and all the therapists are compassionate, friendly, knowledgeable and take your success seriously. They have the equipment, training and skills I'm looking for. My doctor ordered water therapy to assist with my therapy the first time I was a patient. It was amazing as you no more step into the pool than the pain disappears while completing the excersises. I've just completed almost 2 months of therapy and my confidence and balance is returning when I attempt many of the exercises. I have at least another 6 to 8 weeks to correct and restore my physical capabilities. It will take time and hard work to repair my physical coordination and agility. I've been in the hospital 4 times in the past 4 months and inpatient at two rehab centers. Now I'm praying to heal quickly and stay out of the hospital. Select Physical Therapy is helping me regain my strength and body functions I cannot perform. I'm looking forward to returning to at least performing 75% - 80% of my skill sets. My therapist, Molly, is knowledgeable, friendly and focused through our hourly sessions. Under her care, I have gained most of my mobility back. I have also worked with Elise, who was an excellent provider as well. The entire staff is friendly and greets patients by name when they arrive. Generally, appointments can be adjusted to fit the patients schedule. Parking is easy out front. The location is convenient with easy in/out. I deduct one point for the association with Ascension, who reminds us that money comes first, followed by healthcare. The paperwork is frustrating.

Knock on wood, I have only been a visitor to Forte, and not a patient. But I've known three people…read morewho have been patients at Forte, and all of them have had great experiences here. These patients sing praises about Forte, from the doctors to the nurses to the efficient people at the front desk. From a visitor's point of view, Forte is great. They are very straightforward with their instructions, which I appreciate. Just tell me what to do and what to expect, and I'll do it and expect it. Everything went pretty much according to what they said. They have a smoothly running system here. Visitors can help themselves to the unlimited coffee and water at the coffee and water station. This is where the Little Free Library is located! The waiting room also has multiple seating arrangements, from high-top desks to comfy chairs to love seats. Or, if you need something to eat or drink, there's a cafe on the first floor. (See my separate review for La Verna Cafe.) The waiting room is airy and bright. One thing that's kinda weird is that a "cruise director" comes and talks about what to expect with your surgery ... right in the waiting room, among all those random people. That seems unusual, right? However, there are private rooms that you're taken to when the time comes to talk about your particular case with the doctor. As a visitor who is not a patient, Forte is great. But I've been told that it's also great being a patient here, so there's that.

He performs fluoroscopically and ultra-sound guided procedures for pain and spasticity. He is located at the IU Neuroscience Center directly facing W. 16th Street. This large glass building is very easy to find, and a parking garage is attached to the Neuroscience Center (ticket not validated). Patients can be dropped off by the main lobby with wheelchairs available by the information desk. The staff at the desk are super friendly and helpful. The doctor is personable and well-spoken, explains the process well, and has a visual aid, plus he answered all my questions. I do wish I had taken a few notes to remember medication given and some of the other details, but I have an appointment in a couple of weeks. During the procedure, he explains first what he is about to do. I love that so I can prepare myself. Dr. Morrow was great about controlling the pain and checked often on me. Most of what I felt was pressure when injecting the medication. This was my second procedure to resolve another area in my spine. I am still anxious but no longer fearful as I was during the first procedure. I worry slightly of the complications that could occur, but I feel it is worth the risks. Dr. Ramsey-Morrow and his team have earned my trust. After two procedures, I truly believe he is a dedicated and skillful physician who acknowledges each patient as an individual. I didn't feel as if I was in an assembly line but his only patient. The area of my spine addressed is already showing signs of improvement. I would highly recommend Dr. Ramsey-Morrow if you have any of the conditions mentioned above.

By now, probably every Yelper in Indy knows about my recent hospitalization and amputation of my…read moreleft leg above the knee. I continue to be at home healing and building strength, though I'm largely moving toward becoming more independent and hopefully returning to work in the not so distant future. One aspect of life that will need to change is the need for a different wheelchair given my change in physical status. Thus, because I have commercial insurance quite a bit of red tape is required. This includes both a tech evaluation and a full mobility evaluation by a physical therapist. At the recommendation of my DME vendor, I scheduled an appointment with Community Health Network's Physical Therapy & Rehab - Neuro Specialty precisely because they were both close and could get me in fairly quickly. They are located in the Community Health Pavilion at Fort Ben and are almost directly across from both Fort Ben and Culver's. They stumbled into a bit of a mess today and handled it quite nicely. I received a call from the DME vendor about an hour before my appointment stating that it would need to be canceled and rescheduled for 1/30/20. Since this is such an important part of me getting back to work, the prospect of a two-week delay had me pretty agitated. I started making some calls and decided to show up for my appointment that had been canceled. I wasn't in a good mood when I arrived, but I was also determined to either get it all straightened out and maintain the appointment or get an appointment sooner than 1/30. The pavilion is wheelchair friendly - they have multiple accessible parking spots and a front-entrance canopy for safe drop-off. Both glass doorways at the entry have push-button power access. This particular office is directly on the right when you enter. The person working the desk appeared to have stepped away. The operator greeted me briefly, though seemed a bit confused as I was not in their system for having an appointment. I explained the situation. I knew that the DME vendor rep had an appointment at the same office immediately prior to mine. I'd hoped I'd caught him prior to my appointment but would learn he'd left. I was impressed with the front office staff here. I was frustrated, but they kept an even tone about themselves and simply did what they were able to do. They were firm about not being able to have an appointment without the referral, but also shifted focus when it became clear I was determined to get them the referral and maintain the appointment. After multiple phone calls, I had all the pieces in place and the DME vendor agreed to return. The evaluation occurred as scheduled - Cara, the physical therapist, was a delight. She was personable, thorough, professional, and remarkably upbeat. She switched gears and I appreciated her willingness to go through with it. I loved her philosophies - she even gave me an explanation of using the phrase "differently abled" that I really respected. She set a great tone and did a great job. She assured me that given the time sensitivity she would get the evaluation done as quickly as possible but with all the needed information. This could have been a difficult experience, but with a top notch front office staff and a wonderful therapist, this ended up being a really positive experience. Cara also gave me a flyer for an amputee support group - and was also mentoring a student. I really was impressed and would easily return.

I was sent here for my back rehab twice now. The first time after my initial disc rupture and then…read morethe second tine after I ruptured it again and had to have surgery. Both times were amazing! These folks really know their stuff and are super friendly to boot! The ladies at the counter always greeted me warmly and with smiles and so did all the rest of the staff. I worked with 2 specialists and both were great at getting me back to moving around again, you can't go wrong with Ryan and Beth! But, really from what i experienced and saw all of the staff took great pride in their work and cared for their clients. And that makes all the difference, you can tell they care.
