SCAMMERS! SCAMMERS! SCAMMERS!!…read more I booked with Mark, and he quoted me $720. I called him several times and didn't receive a callback until I told him I was considering another company. That's when he finally returned my call. I specifically asked if the price would remain the same as what was listed on the contract, and he assured me multiple times that it would not change. The day before my car was scheduled for pickup, Mark called and told me the price had increased to $1,700--more than double the original quote. I told him I would not be paying that amount and would be using another company instead. After that, I received 28 calls back-to-back. I was done discussing the matter because he became very aggressive and loud during our conversations. I would not recommend this company based on my experience. Be very careful and make sure you get everything in writing before agreeing to do business with them.

This company appeared as a middle party in what turned into a transport scam involving my vehicle. I never directly hired or authorized US Star Trucking. The only reason I even became aware of them is because the transporter who picked up my vehicle sent me a "call/order" document that listed US Star Trucking's information on it. At no point was I informed that another company would be involved, nor did I approve any third party to arrange or subcontract the transport. This lack of transparency is extremely concerning, especially when dealing with something as valuable as a vehicle. When I contacted US Star Trucking to understand what was going on, their response raised even more red flags. Instead of helping clarify the situation, I was told that I needed to pay the transporter directly so they could "get their pay" from documenting the call. That response was both confusing and inappropriate, and it did nothing to resolve the issue. In addition, the contact numbers listed on their website appear unreliable. Multiple attempts to reach them either led nowhere or further added to my concerns about the legitimacy of their operation. Overall, this experience points to a serious lack of transparency, poor communication, and questionable business practices. Being inserted into a transaction without the customer's knowledge, and then directing payment in an unclear manner, is not how a legitimate transport company should operate. If you are arranging vehicle transport, be very careful about who is actually handling your shipment and avoid situations where companies are added into the process without your knowledge or consent. Based on my experience, I would not trust US Star Trucking.

Thru my marina in Boston I setup shipping of my boat back to Boston. They scheduled Surf and Turf…read moreshipping. They scheduled them for me on the way to Miami and I had no issues. I have a chain of emails with the office manager Leah starting on 4/10/15 that she confirmed on the Tuesday before the pick up that everything was confirmed. She confirmed Monday April 27, 2015 the boat would be picked up. I then sent an email Friday before pickup and I didn't receive a response over the weekend. In her prior email, she said the driver would get in touch a day before. Monday morning I wasn't able to call in the morning to find out the pick up time so I had a friend call. He talked to Dave Fred who said sorry he's been out due to prostate surgery. He said call back in an hour when his office manager was in. My friend called in an hour and he said she still wasn't in to call in half an hour. My friend and I both then tried calling all day to both numbers, Leah Callahan office manager 865-243-9894 and 865-309-6984) but no reply including to my emails. On Monday, since I received no replies, at Noon I put an ad in uship.com. Strangely, at 9pm Dave Fred posts he is avail to take the boat. I reply back stating I need it picked up by Wednesday since I have a flight at 3p. I get no response. By a miracle I get a response from another shipper and he saves the day. I told him I have a flight on Wednesday with my 3yr old, 3mo old and my wife and I don't know what to do. My boat is in the water, I have no way of putting it on the trailer nor no option to store it anywhere. My world was upside down juggling the move back to Boston with the fam. He picked up the trailer from the storage lot, met me at the Marina and helped me load the boat. I got lucky.

The stock length of this bike is 9feet 3inches. After agreeing to the price that he quoted I was never able to contact him or his office again. He agreed to pick up after 4:30 due to my nephews wife works until then.
