The Roosevelt ATL Wings is the newest location to open up in the Downtown Phoenix. Once the new opening curses and the flow of being a new restaurant are sorted out, this place with be hopping. The atmosphere has always been welcoming with the owners and employees. The food has been amazing along with the customer service. We came here when they first opened and decided to wait for a return visit to give them some time to iron out some of the wrinkles. Wings tonight were FIRE 10/10. Last time we came , the extra crispy was soggy. Tonights extra crispy though came out perfect. We even had to walk home with the food and it was still crispy by the time we got back to the pad. Suns sauce is super bomb and I recommend getting extra because it's also good to dip your fries in. We get the wings extra crispy with sauce on the side. Right when we got in we were greeted by multiple people and that made me feel welcomed. Also the Owner (?) was there and made sure I was being helped and got what I needed. Initially there was questions about how to order the Tuesday promo on the tablet they have , but the owner and cashier got it all out in the system for me. To be honest , great service just seems to make the food taste even better so I appreciated them and their efforts. Kool aid is always fire. Especially the blue raspberry lemonade. This visit was a complete turn around from our initial visit. I recommend for anyone who may not have been completely happy with their previous visit to do the same. Since it was our first time trying this place out we asked them what they would recommended, we had suggestion to try ATL style, chefs special, and medium with a side of cajun fries and LET ME TELL YOU! ATL style and chef's special are my favorite! ATL puts out some of the best wings here in the Valley! My only gripe with this location is how different they cook the wings compared to the other locations. I used to live near the ATL wings on 87/Warner and they cook the wings up fire there. They seem to be fried a bit longer which results in a better eating experience. Here at Roosevelt, I ask for extra crispy and still need to heat them up in the air fryer at home to get them like they do at the other location. Also, please consider putting an option to have sauce on the side for online orders. Seems like I add it to the special instructions but it still get missed. read more

I always come to ATL whenever I'm in AZ, and this one was definitely the worst one I've been to. We originally ordered through phone and the woman was unwilling to put in our order and told us to order online instead. We ordered online and arrived way ahead of the ready time. We notified the employee that we were just waiting for the online order and waited patiently. It was about an hour until closing and there were only a few customers inside. We waited over an hour after we ordered online (approximately 20 minutes after the order said it was ready) and it still hasn't been ready yet. Several customers who have ordered at the kiosk already received their food within 20 minutes, and we have not. Customer service was pretty terrible, as the woman at the counter asked us what our order was again and to sit back down. Definitely not returning here again and do not recommend to anyone. You're better off driving the extra distance to a different ATL. Update: we finally received our order, and it was the third to last of the day. read more

Ok...when this location first opened, the food was exceptional. After these initial visits the food started to change. (If I had rated my experience then, I would have to give 2 stars ---- at best.). The boneless chicken was smaller than normal and my fries were the wrong flavor. One of the staff suggested that I give them another try. Last week, I went back again. I had hesitation but I gave them another try. I must admit that this most recent experience was indeed MUCH better. In particular, my boneless wings was HOT, FRESH and DELICIOUS. My French fries were HOT and perfectly salted. AND, the presentation of my food (taken to go) was significantly better. I will definitely go back to this location again. I love all other ATL locations except this one it seems they put no effort into making the food I ordered the 6 boneless wing combo w atl style fries but NO SEASONING WHATSOEVER NOT EVEN SALT. and also the boneless wings were SO SMALL like 1/3 of a regular wings size and if you plan on coming here please make sure you check the food before you leave the place because it's not worth the time and money to get subpar food . Finally was able to try the new ATL in downtown Phoenix since my sister is currently in the hospital, we were both craving wings and what are the odds a new location is 10 mins away from the hospital! This is honestly better than wingstop, and the customer service is much better. We ordered the 12-pc with the ATL Style and the Chef's special, which is what the man at the front recommended. He could not have been more spot on. Those flavors are really unique and delicious, and it didn't take very long to come out. We also ordered the ATL style fries that have Cajun seasoning. I thought this could have had more seasoning but they were still hot and delicious. At the end, the man who took our order was so nice that he brought as a tray of free deep fried biscuits and two coupons since it was our first time. ATL is my favorite wing place but this location just isn't the same as the rest. First my wings weren't even coated correctly and had no sauce, my fries weren't seasoned at all and just as I was waiting for my food someone came in to complain how cold their food was. I recommend checking your food before leaving the store because it's not worth the time and money for subpar food. read more
