Flew into AZ for a graduation. My grandson loves wings and ATL is his favorite. The owner was so NICE!! She helped us with our order, explained the sauces etc and could not have been more wonderful! She shared her story and offered a taste to my husband of the ATL style. I had honey BBQ boneless wings. I'm not a Wong person but THESE WERE DELICIOUS!!!!!!! Such a cute place with good seating. Don't get me wrong I love Atl wings but theres a girl that wears glasses that has such a bad attitude. As soon as I came in she was acting like I was an inconvenience. I work in food service myself at Abrazo Arrowhead and even at my busiest I still try to keep up my customer service. Theres an older lady that works there at atl wings that has always been wonderful every time I go even when there was an ACTUAL line. But this other girl has such a stinky attitude and it shows all throughout her service. I hope she takes this advice and either makes some changes or quit. read more

Update!!! The ATL we know and loved is back! If you abandoned this location like we did, go back and give them another shot. We basically followed ATL from the beginning. From chandler to queen creek. To laveen to Mesa. And now surprise. We didn't care for the first experience at this location so stopped going. But we were thrilled to see the previous owners from the other locations out here. Everything was great and will be adding them back in our rotation! Thanks guys! This is my first time here and I loved it! The prices are great and the food is delicious! I got the 6 pieces medium wings with cajun fries. I couldn't finish the meal-the proportions are very generous. For the wings the sauce was just right, and even the medium wing had to kick to them. The wings were also very meaty. We started coming to this ATL about over a year ago... when the new owners took over. ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM they were very welcoming & hospitable. These last two times (Nov/Dec) cashier was RUDE, UNINTERESTED & UNAPOLOGETIC FOR HER MISTAKES. Scoffing when asked any questions and unhappy when placing large orders. Doesn't bother to ask if order is for dine in or to go. PRESUMED in Nov maybe she had a bad day, I can understand that. But a second time??? First off, I'm really unsure why this restaurant has only 3.5 stars. I recently moved here from the foodie city of Portland and let me say this....ATL wing is SO good. The gentleman that's always there is so kind along with everyone else. Just good people all around. The music is always good and when I was in last they had the football game on. I know there's a lot of people that would love that. I get the lemon pepper wing a but on my last visit I ordered the spicy sweet red and oh my gosh! So delicious. It's not crazy spicy but the flavor is great. The fries are always fresh. I personally love the Cajun fries and the ranch is everything. I love that they have kool aid. Some many not but I do. Under new ownership. The owners before had it closed down, I had been a few times and generally would take a long time for your food and generally the food was dry. The new owners have fixed this. I have been 2 times since they reopened and both times my food came out timely and was delicious. Thank you! The ATL style are my favorite. read more

Their food score was an A which you would think was easy but it actually isn't so that alone is worth driving past bigger chains that sell wings & they don't have an A food rating. We have been to a few ATL wings and they have all been very consistent as far as food and service. This location is next to Jamba Juice and easy to find. The service was friendly and quick and we got 2 different types of wings. Our favorites are ATL style and Honey BBQ traditional wings. The wings are so big and crispy every time and flavorful!! ATL is our absolute favorite, and ever since the new owners took ownership (I think within the last year or so), it has gone to complete shit. The customer service is just awful now. Every time I have ordered online for a scheduled pick-up, I had to wait about 30 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time. So that seemed about normal... Although today, I figured I would go ahead and schedule my order for pick up, and schedule it for earlier (knowing they were going to be slow...) But I waited an entire damn 30 minutes after my scheduled pick-up time! I knew I was going to wait because they're slow in general at this specific location now, but I didn't think I would have to wait an entire damn 30 minutes after. On top of that, there was no one there and no one picking up orders. They said they were backed up, but I was the only one in the building, and no one else was picking up orders. I definitely miss the old owners, and ATL is one of my absolute, most favorite wing places! They also didn't have a care in the world. I addressed them several times, and they would just say, "It'll be another moment" They had a ton of friends and family hanging around in front and in the back that were in there that they were tending to. There was even a baby in the back over by the cooking stations, hahaha. Which made the customer service even worse because they were tending to the baby! Just an overall awful experience. Are you looking for good wings? Well Arizona is the place to be, and what city is better known for wings than Atlanta?! But seriously. Not sure if ATL stands for Atlanta or something clever. This place has pretty good wings and other treats. I was happy when they opened since there aren't too many wing options this far west, other than BDubs. The customer service is lacking, but it does remind me of some of the southern rib and wing joints from SC and GA. The ranch is good. The koolaid is waaaay too sweet for me. I look forward to everything opening back up so I can see how lively this place would be with customers in it. I hope this place lasts, this spot has been so many different restaurants I've lost track. 8/10 would recommend. Will be back since Long Wongs is too far. read more

I cant recommend or talk about this place enough. I don't believe we've been here since the new management but this had to have been the best time I've gotten wings ever. Tried to call in an order, but went to VM every time. Placed order through Yelp instead. Said it was 30 min until ready. Went to pick up order and they said they couldn't find it. Showed girl screenshot of order, still couldn't find it. While I'm talking to her trying to figure out what's going on I get a text from Yelp saying the order was cancelled. Girl tells me it will be 20 minutes for a new order. Go outside to call wife and see if I should wait. Overhead a girl outside on phone complaining she has been waiting over an hour and they refused to refund her. Just ended up leaving. 1 person working on a Saturday. And they aren't friendly.
