Just tried this place for dinner. Outstanding food and eating-in experience. Their KRISPY KRUNCHY FRIED CHICKEN is FAR better, MUCH more highly superior, to any of the other fried chicken chain outlets we've tried before. Cooked just right. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Excellent, fresh flavor! As it is prepared to order, expect about a 15 minute wait time for the chicken... but WELL worth that wait, as it turned out. Fries and Onion Rings sides were PERFECT, and tastier than most. Interesting, varied menu, too! Very generous portions... and the chicken pieces were real, actual sized pieces of chicken... not like the canary-sized tidbits served up by today's fried chicken chain outlets! Although the seating area was VERY small (store front operation,) the facilities were bright, clean and well maintained. The staff was welcoming, patient and most helpful as we worked our way through their surprisingly large, and varied menu! Reasonably priced, too! Overall... a happy find... and now one of our go-to favorites! Just wish they had a LOT more locations closer (to us!) Surprise/Sun City areas would benefit from having closer access to Outta Bronx sandwich/hot dog/wings/Krispy Krunchy chicken locations! Outta Bronx - A Very Disappointing Visit and an Even Worse Follow‑Up We've been customers of this spot for some time, and up until now, the food has always been solid. Unfortunately, our latest experience was far from what we've come to expect. Our order was wrong from the start -- something we caught before leaving -- and we were told our food had been handed to another customer, so it had to be remade. Annoying, but understandable. The real issues showed up once we got home. The mac and cheese tasted stale and simply wasn't edible. The Reuben was another disappointment: barely any meat, what little there was had been overcooked, and the sandwich had almost no sauerkraut. When I flipped it over, I could literally see more toppings through the meat than actual meat. The only thing that resembled their usual quality was the chicken fingers. What pushed this experience from disappointing to unacceptable was the phone call I received from the owner,after I emailed their website to share what happened. My intention was to give them a chance to address the situation privately rather than jumping straight to a negative review. Instead, I spent nearly half an hour listening to the owner defend the food, insist the items we ordered weren't their "best sellers," and tell us to choose different items next time. They claimed nothing could be wrong with the food and that we should have just eaten it. They also said the mac and cheese wasn't their responsibility and told us to complain to Krispy Krunchy Chicken because they "just microwave" what they receive. When asked whether a replacement would resolve the issue, I said yes -- only for the owner to then accuse me of taking money from their family and saying they personally wouldn't complain about food they didn't like. I was told to just eat it and avoid ordering those items again. I have this all recorded. If you're going to ask whether a replacement would make things right, why turn it into an argument afterward? This could have been handled quickly and respectfully. Instead, I was told I was bothering them by emailing on a Friday night, and the entire call felt unnecessary and unprofessional. Calling a customer on a Friday night to argue is not how you keep loyal customers. After enjoying this place for some time, it's disappointing to see how poorly concerns are handled when something goes wrong. Update: I believe the response to this shows what I outlined above. I do not know this owner personally. I met them twice at the restaurant when getting my orders and both were good yet brief experiences. I also do not understand how there is fraud in contacting a restaurant, via their contact us email address, to inform them of issues you had with an order. Their call to me, in response to the email, was not a personal call and entirely business related. Well, this place was a little gem to find. From the minute we walked in we were greeted with smiles. We were asked immediately if we had any questions and come to find out that was the new owner. When I asked when they opened the restaurant, I was told that they had just bought it the day before... Considering they bought it the day before and how well it was run and how delicious the food was. I would highly recommend this place! The restaurant is run by the family and our very pleasant and kind. The food was outstanding! I always love a good chopped meat sandwich. We were ordering some chicken tenders and we're going to order the normal amount that we order until the owner told us they were really huge in size. After dropping my mom off at church, I was trying to find somewhere to have lunch. This is a place I've kinda heard about so I was interested to try it and it says they opened at 11. Of course I got there. They were not open yet. I think they didn't open for like 10 minutes. I tried to stay kind the guy who opened wasn't very talkative. I got their meatball sub and fries. As I really wasn't sure what I wanted to eat. Everything looked good. I feel like he did better after I got my food a little bit more talkative a little bit more friendly. The food was so delicious. The right amount of cheese. And I really like their fries. It was more than I could eat and thankful he gave me a box to take the rest home. I was only customer there, but overall the food was really good and it was delivered to me pretty fast. So overall, I would say probably a 4 1/2. read more

I just had a Reuben there, and it was a very delicious sandwich. There was a generous amount of gooey melty Swiss cheese, lots of sauerkraut, and corned beef with a good amount of thousand island dressing. All in all, a big hot delicious mess of a sandwich, and I loved every bite. The fries are crinkle cut with some seasoning on them, and they were cooked perfectly. Both the sandwich and the fries were piping hot. The staff are friendly and quick. It's a small place, right next to a smoke shop (good for people with munchies), located in a shopping center with a grocery store and some other small shops. They have a number of sandwich options, as well as burgers and Krispy Crunchy chicken. I would definitely recommend giving them a try! read more

Small shop in a plaza full of other businesses and parking lot has tons of spaces. There are limited seating indoors and seats are crammed closely together. Came here for dinner and had my mind set on what I was going to order and froze when I didn't see what I wanted on the menu. The gentleman who took my order was kindly asking what was I looking for and I had asked for a pastrami and corned beef sandwich with swiss and he said he can make a special request for me. Food took roughly 10 minutes upon order and it was amazing. It wasn't overly salty but I would have added sauerkraut to complement the deli meats. Fries were crispy. The place is very small with limited seating. They offer plastic utensils, packets of ketchup, mustard, and mayo, and its nothing like the delis in NY. I think my Reuben was made with cheese whiz because it was gooey, not grilled cheese melted. Overall, the sandwich was sloppy and not well prepared. This was a first and last visit to The Bronx!! Ok, this place is a solid 3.5 stars just on their sandwiches so I had to give them 4 because they're better than 3 stars. Friendly staff, good menu, clean but very small dining area. Prices are ok, you can find these sammies cheaper elsewhere but you can also find them more expensive. I gotta say that Culver's does a decent Ruben for way less. They have coke products, but why don't they have coke zero. I had to go for an iced tea but half way thru the pour it was only clear. It had run out. Like several of their soda pop flavors. Unfortunately I have to say that this restaurant/deli was quite disappointing. We visited on Monday, Dec 23, 2024 and ordered a hot pastrami, on rye, coleslaw on the side, no cheese, add mustard, and a side of fried pickles. First issue was they were out of all rye bread and we had to have the sandwich on sourdough. Second, was their "pastrami", was not pastrami, if you've ever had a real hot pastrami, you know how it tastes. What they gave us was barely sliced beef, definitely not pastrami. Third and last were the fried pickles, they were overly oily and not much dill flavor. However, with all that said, the service was good, and there is a small modest dining area. I really wanted to love this place, but it just doesn't hit the mark. It certainly isn't like a deli in New York. read more
