We bought the veterinary hospital across the street about two years ago, and Tailgaters has honestly been one of the best surprises that came with it. The food is great, but the people are the reason we keep coming back. Makayla, Jocelyn, and Khya are absolute rockstars. They've taken care of our team through crazy workdays, emergency cases, celebrations, and everything in between. At this point, they're not just servers--they're part-time therapists, life coaches, and friends. They always remember us, make us feel welcome, and somehow know exactly what kind of day we've had before we even sit down. And a huge shoutout to Derek behind the bar for making the best micheladas around. I've had a lot of micheladas, and I always end up comparing them to Derek's. Nobody does them better. What I love most about Tailgaters is that it feels like a place where people genuinely care. Whether we're grabbing a quick lunch, stopping in after a long surgery day, or getting the team together after work, we're always welcomed like regulars. As a business owner, I know how hard it is to find and keep great employees, and Tailgaters has some of the best. Good food is easy to find. Great people are not. The staff here is what makes this place special. One very important request: PLEASE bring back the buffalo chicken dip. Some of us are still grieving that loss. Placed a pickup order this evening 7/18. Large 2 topping pizza and wings. The pizza was stale and so hard and crunchy it was like eating a cracker. But a cracker would've tasted better than this. It was obviously sitting for quite some time presumably a heat lamp. This is the 2nd time we received a to go order with old nasty barely edible pizza. This place obviously doesn't care about to go orders and thought it was ok to give food that should've been thrown away hours ago. A total waste of over $40 that we really couldn't even afford to spend but wanted to treat ourselves to something nice. Not sure I want to go back to any establishment that thinks it's ok to serve people food that they're too lazy or cheap to throw away. Very frustrating. What a rip off. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND. Especially if you're ordering through UberEats etc because you have to request a refund/replacement through the app and they'll deny it. Pizza was overcooked, could not taste any pizza sauce at all. The slices were cut wonky. I was shocked that it was actually boxed to be delivered. The wings not cooked enough, the skin was slimy. We were so hungry and so disappointed. Adding- I just looked at a previous 1star review and that's exactly what happened to our order. We had the medium pizza with 10 wings and there was also hardly any sauce. Looked like butter sauce and we ordered buffalo medium. Same thing 20 days apart. I've been to quite a few locations, but this one was a first for me. It feels a lot smaller than the other ones I've been to.. we see them in the bar area at a high top. We ordered a few drinks while he looked over the menu. I opted for the wedge salad. My son got some kind of sandwich and my husband a small pizza and wings service started ok but really tanked around the time we started to get our food. It was like pulling teeth to get the servers attention to get drink refills or anything like that. I will say while the food was still good. The wedge salad is about half the size at this location than the one in surprise that we typically go to, but it worked out cause it was a little bit easier to eat. We'll probably stick to our usual location, but I can't say we'd never come back. read more

Decided to stop by Tailgaters after bowling tonight on a last-minute whim. We got seated right away, which was a great start. My husband ordered a beer and said it was good, and I ordered a Diet Coke. We ordered the medium pizza and 10-wing special for $28.99. Unfortunately, that's where things went downhill. We paid for extra sauce on the pizza, but it came out with no extra sauce at all. The pizza was dry and overcooked. The wings were supposed to be a Parmesan flavor, but they were also dry and looked like someone had just sprinkled grated Parmesan cheese on top--it wasn't even melted. When the bill came, it definitely didn't match the quality of the meal. We each ate one slice of pizza and were done. We were really disappointed because we had been looking forward to a good meal after bowling. Hopefully this was just an off night, but based on this experience, we'll think twice before coming back read more

We have been going there for 9 years. The service lately has been going down hill and I think tonight is when we say goodbye. We spend $1000s a year there so you would think the manager would at least say hello to us since we're there once or twice a week. Not happening. After waiting some time we got our first round of beers and told a new bartender we want to order pizza to go. After sitting for 10 minutes with empty beer glasses and no pizza order we left. The manager was there, didn't greet us and never noticed our empty beer mugs. He didn't notice or care, which implies ownership doesn't care about losing regulars who spend 1000s a year there. Was really wanting wings, but couldn't get past the lack of service. Went in a was greeted somewhat promptly. Greeter got our menus and started walking towards the bar. My wife doesnt like.high tops, so I asked if we could be seated insted at a regular table, to which her response was simply, " No." There were people seated in that area, so it wasnt a situation that it was blocked or anything and unfortunately, she didn't offer anything other than no. We were surprised to find this fun local chain sports bar hidden in the back of a strip mall. Once inside, we found tons of TVs showing local sports. Several seating options from inside bar high top tables, bar and booths as well as outside seating at tables and bar. Service was quick and friendly. We had beer on the table in just a few minutes. They had happy hour until 6 PM Friday which was a nice surprise. Lastly, food was quite good considering my expectations. We enjoyrd the Antipasto Salad, Hawaiian Pizza and the Rueben sandwich. All of these were fresh, tasty and delivered quickly. On a side note, it is right across the street from the Tesla Supercharger which is a big plus for me! I eat at this restaurant a number of times, but I always order the same thing every time. The spinach salad with chicken and the raspberry dressing. I absolutely love it. The last 2 times I've been there I've gotten a server by the name of Adilene both times she's been so attentive at coming to your table immediately and getting your drink order, always with a smile. She comes back several times to make sure you don't need anything else. And in the end she asks if I want my coke to go. She always writes on the cup about having a great day. Tailgaters in Buckeye has always been a decent experience for us. It's usually because we're out late and need dinner. Their late night option makes it easy for us. Food isn't high end but it does usually taste good and is quick. Sometimes I wish the servers seemed like they enjoyed their job more but being later in the evening I can understand not wanting to be super bubbly. We used to love this place. Tonight we made a delivery order. After an hour and a half, we called to get the status. We spoke to the receptionist and she stated we had canceled our order after calling in. Never happened. After being put on hold the manager told us that she was on the way to deliver the food but she received a call that we asked for it to be held and that we would pick it up. Different story and also not the truth. She then stated that she would get the food that was sitting there for an hour delivered. She did offer to recook it but our trust factor was gone. She said it would be $4.00 additional for the chicken, and she also wanted to add an upcharge for the 2nd packet of vinaigrette, which has always been included. While they're arguing over that, the pizza is getting cold. Husband came home with the naked Cobb salad and the cold pizza. We were greeted by a cheerful and friendly hostess who took our carry out order. The menu prices were a bit high but we really wanted salads for dinner. We waited in the bar area which looked pretty nice. We were willing to pay the price for what we wanted but when we got our food back to the hotel we were disappointed! First, there were no cutlery or napkins provided so we had to get some from the hotel desk. Also, no bread or anything with the salads which I usually get. The caprese salad was served with no greens at all. The tomatoes and mozzarella were good but I expected some lettuce maybe? My husband's buffalo chicken salad was good enough but he felt the chicken was overly salty. We combined the two so I could have a proper salad with my tomatoes. 28 bucks seemed kind of a lot, with no extras provided. read more

We are from out of town and planned our night around ending the evening at tailgaters. It was close to our hotel looked fun. The website site and Google both said they closed at 12am. We arrived just after 11pm. We entered and following a round of rude glares and dirty looks, we were told they were closed. I asked why they were closed when the sign said otherwise, the doors were unlocked and there were many patrons. The bartender was rude and said "well the people here need a way to leave". I was offended and highly irritated. If it's a locals only bar fine, but hopefully this review saves anyone from the poor treatment and experience we experienced. Hopefully new management will clear out the trash working there and frequenting the establishment. read more

It wasn't a very busy night ... it was my first time here. It's weird to give them 3 stars as their food is good. My brother had the meatball sub with homemade chips and he loved it. Hubby loved his pizza, those who had burgers loved them and my quesadilla was filled with lots of cheese and chicken. Their salsa was great, just enough heat. Why the 3 's because the food came out in intervals for everyone. I was half way through my meal when I had to ask where my Brothers sandwich was. Once that came I asked about my husbands and friends pizzas were... was told it was a busy to go pizza night. To me, we are one table... it should be a priority to get the food out together or at least pretty close. The music was insanely loud. At one point, I felt like we were in a nightclub. Good service and great wedge salad but the wings never got off the ground. There are two sports bars on this corner and both have wing specials. Wednesday for the other establishment and Thursdays here at the TIP. I was here a few weeks ago and they had a killer Parmesan wings with some nice heat packing but tonight they were different and just plain Parm wings tossed in some standard Louisiana hot sauce. On my second order I asked for the mango habanero and got more Louisiana hot sauce and tasted just like the Parmesan wings minus the cheese. When you order a Coors you get a Silver Bullet, more yuck on the palate. Patty was a trooper though and swapped it out for a "Banquet". When you order a Budweiser they never bring you a Bud Light. I remember when you could order a Coors and they had one flavor before that ugly silver can. Apparently they have other locations but if the recipes are so different in a few weeks at the same place I'd hate to see the diff with other kitchens. I'm a big fan of the Wedge Salad!
