I'm a fan and have been my whole life! It's hard to believe their home base (Atlanta) is only about a four hour drive from my house yet I've never seen a Braves game in person. It's a bucket list item for sure, though! Of all sports baseball, especially Major League Baseball is my favorite spectator sport! Actually it's currently tied with professional golf and tennis. Since I've never liked football, my favorite restaurants and bars are ones that show the Braves! Especially if you ask them to and they comply! And eepecially when they play Braves right when for example, spring training is televised! That's a win!!!! Hank Aaron was the first Braves player I couldn't get enough of! Wow! What a fantastic athelete! Hall of Famer, right fielder, and broke the long+standing MLB record for career home runs held by Babe Ruth! I remember watching Hank knock them out of the park as a little girl...I was completely enamored! It's notable that President Carter was a personal friend of Aaron's and hosted Hank at the Oval Office in 1978. Nice job President! Would have loved to attend the game! We called ahead at the airport - we were stranded and the game had started. We called the box office and they said "come on over" and we will sell discounted tickets at the window - no need to purchase a ticket on the app.!!!! So - what did we do? Grabbed an uber and headed over - 45 mins later (which we had told the guy on the phone at the box office) we arrived - box office closed A no tickets for sale and no way to buy anywhere online - really disappointed to bring our kids here for this - we tried to speak to someone to help - several were friendly but.... How do you review a sports team? The service was great? They were a little too well done? Lots of parking? From what I saw, the Braves problems this year stem from an over abundance of injuries. This contributed to the lack of offense and an inability to mesh as a team. You lose the luxury of familiarity. The unity. Any sports unit that isn't cohesive doesn't succeed. I can't criticize areas like trading, managing and fan support because I've only seen a handful of games. Only one in person. I hadn't been to a game at truist since the 2021 world series but Im a Yankees fan so I figured I'd head over. My wife and I were excited to try the new restaurants in the food hall. She was getting chicken and I just wanted a big hot dog. I went to the hot dog place and paid $15.90 for one of the dogs that comes with kraut and garlic aoli. But I asked them to hold the garlic aoli. The guy rang me up and ran my card and then told the people in line that they were out of hot dogs and it would be 10 minutes. I asked why he rang me up knowing they were out of hot dogs. He then said my dog was ready but surprise surprise it had garlic aoli on it which i didn't want. So I could eat something I didn't want or wait for the next dog. I asked for a refund and they brought in a manager but she couldn't figure it out. She suggested I just dispute the charge with my credit card company. I will but that's rather ridiculous. How do you get 4 months into a season and not know that? And who runs out of hot dogs in the first inning???!!!. Oh and I missed Aaron Judge's home run because of thia! So then I went to one of the other food places and the credit card reader got stuck on the place where you tip and wouldn't work. So I walked away in disgust. We FINALLY got to our seats in the top of the 3rd but guess what? They weren't open because there was a lady sitting in one of our seats and she had her baby with her and had a diaper bag in our other seat. We said they were our seats, but she ignored us. There were no employees around, so I had walk back probably 200 yards to get to customer service to get help. I explained to them what was going on and they were initially sympathetic to the woman with the baby. Oh, it's awful that she might have to move! I told them that I certainly understand their sentiment and that they lady could have both our seats if they'd give me a refund of the $90+ that I spent. Well, they had a sudden change of heart then. "Oh no" they explained. They couldn't possibly do that. So, they told me walk back and the head usher was going to meet me where our seats were. I got back and there was no head usher or anyone else. I finally found another user and he got her to move. We finally got into our seats around the end of the 3rd inning. I did notice that there was an employee who was wearing a name tag and standing around with this woman and carrying the child down the stairs and back, and he periodically left and appeared to be working. For my last Yelp review of 2021, I'm reviewing the 2021 World Series Champions, the Atlanta Braves. Congratulations to Braves general manager Alex Anthopoulos, manager Brian Snitker, and the rest of the Braves organization - players and staff - on a job well done. Mission accomplished, #BattleWON. The Braves are reigning world champions! Thank you for bringing a major pro sports championship to the city of Atlanta for the first time since 1995 (26 years ago). Don't get me wrong, I realize Atlanta United won the MLS Cup in 2018, but Major League Soccer isn't part of the traditional big four: Major League Baseball (MLB), the National Basketball Association (NBA), the National Football League (NFL), and the National Hockey League (NHL). The Braves winning the championship this year took away some of the sting from the Atlanta Falcons' 2017 Super Bowl overtime loss to the New England Patriots. The Atlanta Hawks have been on the rise, making it to the Eastern Conference Finals this year for the first time since 2015. Georgia Tech's men's basketball team won the 2021 ACC championship. It was Tech's first conference title since 1993 (28 years ago). Finally, the University of Georgia has one of the best teams in college football this season. We'll find out tonight if they'll advance to play in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game on January 10. Atlanta and Georgia sports teams have been doing relatively well recently. It's great. I was born and raised in North Carolina where the Braves are a popular and favorite team among many, perhaps most. It's interesting to me that to this day, outside of Florida, there are no other MLB teams in the Southeast. There are NBA and NFL teams from New Orleans to Charlotte, but no MLB teams other than the Braves. That's weird. When I moved to Atlanta in 2000, it was pretty evident the city loved the Braves. Sure, the Falcons made it to the 1999 Super Bowl (Dirty Birds), but they didn't win it all. In the 90s, not only did the Braves win the World Series in '95, but they advanced to the World Series in four other years (1991, 1992, 1996, 1999). My employer, who I started working for in 2001 and still work for today, has had company season tickets to Braves games forever. Since 2001, I've usually made it out to at least one Braves game per season. The company tickets are distributed to all employees, including playoff tickets. Yep - there were a lucky few who each received four tickets and a parking pass to World Series Games 3, 4 and 5 this year. After fees, I heard it was costing folks roughly $1,200 to get a single ticket to the World Series at Truist Park. I've always had fun at the Braves games I've attended at Turner Field and Truist Park. I still remember when the Braves moved from downtown Atlanta to Cumberland. Having worked nearby in Marietta and Cobb County with my go-to Discount Tire right there on Spring Road, I still find it interesting, all these years later, how fast Truist Park (then SunTrust Park) and The Battery came together. Truist Park and The Battery opened in 2017. It was around that time that Brian Snitker replaced Fredi Gonzalez as manager (2016) and Alex Anthopoulos was hired as the new GM. From there, the Braves won four straight National League East Division championships, 2018-2021. The team progressed each year, making it further and further into the playoffs. While 2021 was obviously a magical season, I really started to feel that magic in 2020 when the Braves advanced to the National League Championship Series (NLCS) for the first time since 2001. Not only that, but the Braves were on the verge of winning the NL pennant, having gone up 3-1 on the Los Angeles Dodgers. We'd go on to lose the series and to me, it felt a little bit like the 2017 Super Bowl and yet another example of an Atlanta sports team coming up short on the big stage. However, 2021 made 2020 alright as the Braves got a rematch with the Dodgers in the NLCS and this time won, 4-2. Eddie Rosario was the 2021 NLCS MVP and Jorge Soler was the 2021 World Series MVP. By the time the World Series rolled around, this Braves team was just stacked with great, memorable talent. Outside of guys like Freddie Freeman and local product Dansby Swanson, who have been with the team since 2010 and 2016, respectively, most of the late key contributors were acquired only within the last couple years. Examples include pitchers Ian Anderson and Tyler Matzek, who both joined the Braves in 2020, and other players like pearl-necklace-wearing Joc Pederson and the aforementioned postseason MVPs, Rosario and Soler, all of whom joined the organization in 2021. During Bally Sports South's championship parade coverage, they discussed the roster/lineup changes from April to November and it almost looks like a new team. Also, shout-out to Max Fried, who pitched six shut-out innings in Game 6 of the World Series, on the road in Houston. Incredible stuff. Will Smith closed it out. Go Braves! read more

Do some thing about your parking!!!! It's been 45 mins?!? Why am I still in the parking structure on the same floor that I parked on a Sunday! Wow unorganized. Don't waste your money on close structure parking. It's not worth it. Walk save yourself 45 dollars and still make it home before I will. The Atlanta Braves get a 5 star but this particular staff:Maria from Guest Services Usher to the bottom section get no stars and a complaint overall customer service terrible. We had tickets for section 14 extremely close to the dugout. I tried to take a picture for my son and Maria from Guest Services stated we need to sit down. I only was there for less than 2 minutes. I simply asked if we weren't allowed to take pictures and Maria said everyone paid for their seats to watch a game. I stated we have tickets for this section and only wanted to retrieve a picture for memories and Maria stated that I needed to have a seat and NOT get a picture. My son was devastated and we left early missing the home run ending the game. Maria (guest service) never apologized and seem she got cocky when I asked how to report this matter. Maria wouldn't let me take a picture of the team but posed for a picture when I stated I had to make a complaint. All I wanted was to create memories and I always respect people the picture would have been quick and back to our seat we went. I didnt try to climb down or over I was in the back trying to get a picture of the team. Maria ruined my experience and having season tickets I don't think I want to come back to another game. This year I have been to over 3 home games and this may be my last time going. Maria didn't apologize or seem remorseful to my child or his experience. I asked the other Usher and she was such a delight and took me back over to retrieve a picture and apologized for Maria misbehaving. Baseball is a family sport and the one sport where I feel as though the children are safe and we are majority outside. I have been going to Braves games for decades and this is the fiesta and last time I want to be treated in such a way. read more

I'm assuming the Battery's grounds and staff fall under this category...ever since I moved to Cobb County in 2020, I have never had a bad experience here. Not just for game day, the Braves staff are here to help you find out about anything you need, and with a cheerful attitude and a huge smile. The staff at the clubhouse store are especially terrific, and have a very genuine demeanor that I really appreciate. Even if the Braves are on the road, come down with a lawn chair and enjoy the game on the green space by the front gate, there's a huge big screen tv to watch, as well as a number of bars to have a beer and do the same. 10/10 Braves staff are the best!!! read more

Do not buy tickets in section 35-37. Their supervisor down there (Big guy)(Black) was very mean to me. I had bought a ticket down there and it was very expensive. This man made it very unenjoyable. I had caught a baseball in the first inning my first time every at truist park. Later in the game I had tried to get another baseball by getting the third out ball. I was not annoying anyone and there was no one around me. This man threatened to take the ball from me if it came in my direction. I told him I would give the baseball away if I caught and he said he didn't care. He ruined my day and he should be punished. I don't know how this man is a supervisor because what supervisor would threaten to take a baseball away from a 14 year old boy for no reason. Growing up in Atlanta in the 1980's, I often found myself stuck inside on a sweltering Summer afternoon with nothing to watch on TV except soap operas and Braves games. How I hated those powder blue uniforms! And baseball was so boring. But I did like those Dale Murphy Kinnett Ice Cream commercials. And then it was 1991 and the Braves went from worst to first. And baseball in October is much more exciting. The frenzied anticipation was everywhere and you couldn't help but get swept up in it. And then a new century rolled around and I moved across the country. But the one and only game I've attended at Coors Field was a Braves game. And Chipper Jones hit a home run. The franchise roster includes legendary players Jackie Robinson and Hank Aaron and The Braves have won one, but only one, World Series Championship. They are Atlanta's team. Probably the most recognizable Atlanta institution around the country given the club's relative dominance in the 1990's. The club has been around for ages, with historic moments of greatness (Hank Aaron breaking Babe Ruth's HR record) and misery ('96 playoff collapse against the Yankees still hurts me...). The majority of current Braves fans don't remember the days of futility before the run of division championships began in 1991. They know the name Dale Murphy but don't remember just how bad the Braves were. Hopefully the end of the string of playoff appearances in 2006 will remind people just how good we've had it in Atlanta. I ended my boycott of the Braves tonight and went to their game at Truist Park (nee SunTrust Park). My seats were in "Home Run Park" (i.e., the outfield). i could not see the big screen at all, and could not make out much of what was on the stats board. There was a small scoreboard in back of home plate, but it was so small that I could not read most of the information posted there. In addition this board was interrupted frequently to show action stuff and advertising. So basically it was difficult to follow the game. We went to a concession stand in the fifth inning. Ordered the grilled chicken sandwich combo. OOPS! They were already out of chicken. Went to the beer station and ordered the hazy IPA. OOPS! They were already out of it. Ordered the pale ale. OOPS! They were already out of it, too. So while the game was a pretty good one (Atlanta won; beat the Nationals), the logistics were pretty bad. If I am going to spend $50 or so on the cheap seats + another $15 or so on parking and another $40 or so on two burgers, fries, a beet and a bottle of water, I expect the logistics to be better than they were at this game. The Braves abandoned Atlanta for the suburbs a few years ago. I am still thinking that the bums don't deserve our attendance. They gotta get better at staging games than this. read more

I had a great time at this ballpark.It was my first stadium I visited on my ballpark tour outside of my home stadium minute maid.There was alot of braves memorabilia dating back when there were a boston team.Fans were great and Atlanta was extremely a clean city with lots todo with the underground mall located next to the coke factory.Stay in buckhead at the omni hotel if out of town to catch a game.Excellent staff that will give their guest exceptional service.There is a rail that will drop you off at the ballpark. read more

Amazing experience. It was such a great day! As with most pro fields/stadiums, the food and drink costs are outlandish...but it's all about the experience right... Unfortunately the Braves lost heftily to the Yankees...but we did get to see A-Rod get a base hit for 2 RBIs. Today I spoke with Thomas from Customer Service to reissue expensive ($100+) tickets for a game that a very close girlfriend of mine and I couldn't attend because of a familial emergency she faced that resulted in brain surgery. She and I both work in successful businesses and understand the principle of abiding by rules set in the bylaws. However, superseding those bylaws are the basic rights of human understanding and connection, and what little Thomas' little brain doesn't understand in the greater scheme of business is the need to keep stronger customer relations, thus provide the customer with what they need when they need it. It's a small business expenditure, but builds into the larger pool of building a stronger brand with customer loyalty. It only takes one misstep in customer relations to ruin what a company worked hard to build, something I don't feel Little Thomas will ever understand. read more

14 straight divison titles? One world series out of that = failure. Plus, that's a thing of the past. The whole Turner Field/Braves game experience just kinda sucks. The stadium was converted to a "baseball" stadium after the '96 Olympics, and doesn't have a cool factor, at all. No one tailgates. Sure, Hotlanta gets, well, hot, during the summer, but tailgating is allowed in the lots. Where are you guys?!?! Transplant some Brewers or White Sox fans to show you how it's done. Quite possibly the most annoying thing about the Braves are their fanbase. "14 straight division titles!" Quit using an argument that's six years old. "Did your team win 14 straight division titles?" No, but my team also didn't lose 13 out of 14 world series chances, either. Seriously, find something new. It's a shame, too, because the current fanbase has just completely turned me towards near-hatred of this team. I grew up a Braves fan since most everyone else was in the area, but as I got older (and wiser), I found one of my own I enjoyed much, much more. What's there to boast about? Mediocre team, sub-par stadium, now HORRENDOUS announcers, "blah" concessions, and nothing entertaining during the game. The Tomahawk Chop? Where has it gone? During the days of Fulton County Stadium, the organ would start, 30k-plus fans would break out their foam tomahawks and join in while deafening the competition with their cry. Now, what is it? Ripping off the FSU fight song with a fan here and there doing the chop? The Braves were a joy to watch from '91 through about '98. I enjoyed seeing the Braves game. I like seating in the bleachers outside and listening to the crowd. This trip was not like that because we were in a private suite. The benefit to the suite is the free food and drinks along with comfortable seating etc... The down side is its not the typical baseball experience. I recently wrote this to the organization and wanted to share this with the rest of my yelp community. What a difference a generation makes in mlb. Hello, I'm not sure if this will get read by the right people but I wanted to write and let you know how thoroughly disappointed I am in your organization. I recently brought my family with me on a work trip to show them Atlanta and to have a special bonding experience with my daughter. You see this was supposed to be her first mlb game and it would be her first braves game as well. We live in Tampa fl and I haven't even tried to take her to a rays game as rooting for the braves has always been a family tradition. Since I was a boy growing up in the Atlanta metro area my father and I shared a special bond with listening to the radio and watching braves games every year. I grew up with this team and my dad passed away before my daughter was ever born but I wanted to continue the tradition of my daughters first mlb experience to be like mine, at a braves game. On the flight Tuesday to Atlanta, my daughter had a severe allergic reaction and we had to rush her by ambulance from the airport to the children's hospital in downtown. We were in the ER for hours before we got her reaction under control and was very scary as she is only 21 mos old. Our tickets were for the tues night game. However we had to miss the game due this incident. We were grateful she survived the horrific allergy attack, but sad that the one thing we had brought her to Atlanta for we missed as well. When our doctor (who is a season ticket holder for his family too) heard this he had a letter drawn up simply explaining what happened to us and asked if there was any way we could exchange the tickets for the mid day game the following day. We didn't even care if it was nose bleeds, we just didn't have enough money to buy another set of three tickets again. I called your customer service and was put on hold for a good 2-3minutes as the individual checked on the request, as I explained the same information I just shared. He explained that there was nothing he could do, but suggested I go back to the hospital and ask the doctor to use his season ticket pass to buy discounted tickets. REALLY?? After a lifetime of financial and emotional support and generations of braves fans with my other 4 siblings and in laws that's the best advice your organization could offer? My entire family was disgusted and disappointed that a multi-million dollar organization could not do anything to help us enjoy 1 game for three tickets. So as I return home, I'm putting away my 1984 braves team autographed baseball, I'm putting away every hat, t shirt and pennant that I have, I'm taking down the 1991 team picture I have from that magical year of watching Sid bream beat out the throw by Barry bonds and I will never spend one more hard earned dollar on your organization. As if the trip wasn't bad enough with the health issue, you had a chance to do something good that would've cost you very little to continue a legacy of fans in my household and my family. Im actually a Anaheim Angels fans but you can never resist tailgating and drinking the world of beer at the game. Of course beer will be expensive but you pay for the value of drinking it at the game. We did have some annoying high school kids which I did want to drop kick but luckily i was a good boy and refrained myself from doing any harm. Hot Dog was blah nothing like a Dodger Dog but I was surprise that the chicken tenders were actually pretty good. Parking isnt that bad too. Oh on the positive note some dude gave us 2 tickets while in line (30 bucks each ticket) and right after some dude offer 20 bucks which was a steal so that was cool. Overall funtimes read more

We had Family who evacuated Naples, FL. last week and took advantage Saturday night of the Braves "Free Ticket" offer to Floridians escaping the hurricane. Their entire family had a blast at the game. Kudos to the Braves for being a first class organization. read more
