If I could give 6 stars, I would…read more I had a mobile dent repair guy attempt to fix scratches someone left on my new car on the bumper and grill and he used matte black (my car is gloss black) when he told me he had the correct paint color... He also broke the bumper clips that ended up being unsalvageable according to Bobby (owner of Platinum). He got overspray everywhere and broke parts that shouldn't have needed to be replaced. So an absolute waste of $500 on top of making the car look worse than it did before he touched it. I have been looking at getting it fixed for some time now and I came across Platinum Collision Repair and saw the great reviews and gave it a shot. When I arrived I saw a bunch of cars in the shop that looked pretty much brand new so I knew I was in probably in good hands. I was instantly greeted by the owner and I showed him the damage. He gave me a free quote within 3 mins of me being there. I took some time to see if I wanted to wait a few months or do it now but after seeing person after person come to drop off their car within 5 mins of me trying to make a decision in the parking lot, I felt that was all the convincing I needed, so I got him to go ahead and do it. I dropped the car off 7-25 (Saturday afternoon) and it was done 7-29(Wednesday morning). He told me Thursday just to be safe and I get a call on Wednesday morning at 9am that it's ready. That's including them ordering a new grill, new bumper and painting. They are closed Sundays and I brought it later in the afternoon on Saturday so really it only took them 3ish days to order the parts, do all the necessary repairs to other parts not being replaced, paint the car and they even washed it for me! These guys at Platinum killed it and the owner Bobby was seriously so helpful and did his best to get me right after getting screwed over and save me as much money as possible. He even buffed the overspray off my headlight for me and it looks like a brand new headlight now. The car now looks like how it looked when it came off the delivery truck a year ago. They did the job for so cheap too! Can't recommend them enough... so much so that my mom is asking me what's the address and telling me she doesn't care that it's over an hour and a half away from her after seeing the results lol. A week can go by and they won't call you back. You can't really plan when they have your vehicle you're really at their mercy. When you call them they will say "we were about to call you". Easy fix here just call back your customers, be nice, don't act like you're in a hurry, ask if they have any questions, pretend you're not trying to just get to the next customer. To pass a Ga rebuilt title inspection, safety features like the headlights have to work. I overlooked this and it was during the day so I didn't visually inspect the headlight function. Once at home, we realized the headlight didn't work and that the wiring harness that attaches to the headlight wasn't attached and wouldn't attach because the headlight installed was wrong and for a different trim level. The fix is a new headlamp assembly that costs $1,400 plus labor. The only way to pass would've been to somehow fake the working light or install the correct expensive lamp and then take it out and put in the cheap non functioning one. It would appear they not only defrauded me but the Ga govt as well. Alan, my salesperson gave me the runaround for weeks about how they ordered the part blah blah, but they didn't, and they won't. These guys have awful yelp reviews, and F with the BBB. I got lucky compared to others as the headlamp is the only issue (albeit expensive, which is why they likely avoided fixing it), but save yourself the headache and keep driving when you see this fraudulent business.
