BEWARE of UNETHICAL BUSINESS Five Brothers Auto Sales LLC is an unethical business and can NOT be trusted. They flat out lie and do not stand by their products. In early October I conducted a nationwide search for a 2013-2017 used Toyota Prius V 5 with lower mileage. I located a 2013 Toyota Prius V 5 on CarGurus.com with less than 50,000 miles being offered by Five Brothers Auto Sales LLC in Roswell, GA. The online photos of the exterior of the car did not show any scratches, dents, or dings and the CarFax report showed no accidents. After much communication with Winston McCord, Saleman of Five Brothers, he sent me videos of the exterior and interior of the car. Based upon all shared information plus Winston's touting of the car, I decided to make the purchase on October 17, 2025. Nowhere in the shared photos or videos was any exterior or interior damage visible. Nor did Winston mention the car had been involved in an accident. On Sunday, October 19, 2025, the 2013 Toyota Prius V 5 (VIN: JTDN3EU0D3243463) was delivered to my IL residence via car transporter. Immediately, it was clear to see the car's exterior body contains scratches and dents in several places on the front, back and sides of the car. The windshield is scratched from wipers being operated without rubber blades. The rear quarter panel has been involved in the accident and the body repair was poorly done with visible paint overspray. This car was absolutely FALSELY promoted/advertised for sale to me. In addition to ALL the exterior body damage and unreported damage caused by an accident PLUS interior damage, I had the car fully inspected by Cooper Service (a reputable and well know repair business in Orland Park, IL http://cooperservice.com) and learned the car has the following mechanical problems: 1) There is fault in the steering angle sensor, open in the Squib circuit which is the "clock spring" in the steering column. Codes: C1231, B1801, B1811, U0293, B278C stored. $1,000.00 repair 2) (3) TPM sensors must be replaced. (maintenance light is lit on the dash. I specifically asked you about this maintenance light being lit on dash BEFORE purchasing the car and you said the light was lit due to low time pressure. You said you would address the issue prior to the car being shipped to me in IL). $500.00 repair to replace sensors with OEM parts I have contacted Winston McCord, Salesman and Ferida Tashtanova, Sales Manager of Five Brothers Auto Sales LLC seeking a FULL REFUND of $15,500 paid for the car. Both have refused my request and they refuse to rectify. After they "supposedly" completed the alignment the car was still pulling to the right. I took the car to my mechanic afterwards and the tires were severely deflated. After wanting a Hummer for many years my wife found this one and wanted me to purchase it as a retirement gift...well I did and this is my story...If you find yourself stopped at this place of business... run and run fast. This place should not be allowed to work or sell any cars, and Mayor Wilson and the city council should shut them down, report them to the BBB and create a civil lawsuit for the customers that have been done wrong... I bought this car online so I couldn't check it personally, so I trusted what they told me. Once I got the car delivered, (a day later than promised) and fuel on empty. (First time I have ever purchased a vehicle that the dealership didn't fill the vehicle up with fuel...first time in my 67 years on this earth). After receiving the Hummer H2 I found numerous things wrong with this junk...battery dead in two days (due to a short somewhere that drains the battery in a couple of days, had to buy a new battery and install a disconnect until I can find the short, the auto transmission slips when changing from first to second and the engine accelerates, after about a week the mirror fell off of the windshield, promised to pay the registration / tag which was another lie. I had to pay over $750.00, the wiper motor is bad, no spare tire, driver's seat cover is torn. Not shown in pics, I called the seller and the owner of the dealer many times and I talked with multiple people, sent them pictures with all I could see. It got to the point they quit answering my text or calls. I was told one of the owners Mustafa Tashtanov or Umar Tashtanov was going to call me but I haven't heard anything from him, not surprising. I don't really know how they are still in business with this type of integrity, dishonesty and they claim they are professionals. Oh, they did offer me $12,000 to buy the Hummer back which would have been $6,500 + less than I gave them for it... I will have to pay for all these issues before the vehicle is reliable or even a chance of getting out of it close to what I gave these crooks for it. Received a quote for replacing injectors and labor of $15xx.00 and paid $1970 for the work. The vehicle did not run properly still yet after the work was done which would indicate there was additional trouble. Vehicle was at the repair shop for over a week and every day there was a delay in it's return to me. Finally, the vehicle was given the OK to be picked up, and upon leaving the parking lot the vehicle was misfiring still yet, but no engine code. I was asked to drive it more and if a CEL is seen then visit an Auto Zone and have the code read and text it to the tech. Tech has not responded, and after a couple of phone calls I am not pleased with the outcome and for peace of mind won't return to have more work done for more money. I would have paid additional money to get the actual issue resolved, but the shop does not seem interested in determining the problem. The codes on my vehicle were cleared so it left the shop looking as if to have no problem, but daily it has a problem and the CEL appears daily which means it was never in a state of operation that would not produce the light, the light was simply cleared to mask the issue. Price aint everything, and certainly the price I was given to do this work was not the actual price paid. This shop does NOT take care of it's customers properly. read more

My son and I went to this place yesterday to test drive a vehicle we found on-line. When we arrived, the "salesman" that came out didn't greet us; just kinda looked at us, and I asked if we could look at the car. He walked out with us, opened the door and told my son he could sit in the driver seat. He didn't say anything else. We decided to test drive it. We called the place from the road to ask if it was okay if we took it to our mechanic ... Tires Plus Alpharetta which we've used to service all of our family vehicles for years, and have always been very satisfied with their service. Five Brothers said it was okay to take it there. Thank goodness we did because the vehicle needed $1,500+ worth of repairs including the tires which were not installed correctly. There were 2 different types of tires, and all of the tires were on the wrong axle. Additionally, we learned that all of the mechanical codes were cleared which was a definite red flag. We decided the car wasn't for us and took it back to Five Brothers. Once there, I explained to them what we learned. He seemed surprised and asked if he could make a copy of the repair estimate. I let him make a copy, and we left. I learned today that the salesman wrote an awful review on Tires Plus Alpharetta's website. This isn't justified one bit, and an awful way to conduct business. SCAMMED AN OLD GRANDMOTHER SHAME. SHAME. SHAME. There is a reason the Better business bureau rates them an F. They saw this grandma coming a mile away. WHAT A NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE. ! This company should not be in business, I took my 2006 Jeep to Five Brothers Automotive because the engine light was coming on intermittedly. I told them I was on social security and couldn't afford expensive repairs, but I was concerned about the engine light--which was off when I brought the jeep into the shop. After a couple of days I got a call saying that my "struts were leaking" and my throttle body" had to be replaced right away. At almost 70, I had no idea what either of those things had to do with the engine light but the guy assured me that was the problem. I was aghast when I picked up the car a couple of days later and was presented with a bill for over $900. My complete budget for the month, so I borrowed the money, paid for the bill and took it home. Immediately after picking up the jeep, I noticed that the jeep was idling too high, the acceleration was poor and the engine light was on. I was told to drive it for a day or two to see if things would iron out, but the next day the car was driving worst. I called Five Brothers Automotive and told them the problem still existed. The woman on phone told me the mechanic who worked on my car was "out sick". I arranged for a pick up and brought the jeep back and asked them to make it right, but the mechanic who worked on my car was still " out sick "so they are not sure when they could get my jeep back to me. Almost a week later, I get a call from a "part-time mechanic". He proceeded to lecture me on how many miles on the odometer and how old cars have all kinds of problems. He said that the code indicated that the spark plugs needed to be repaired and a new ignition coil put in. He assured me the engine light should go off after those things were fixed. He said the car would be ready that Friday afternoon. It was not. On Monday I received a text asking me to "swing by so they could show me something". I called the shop and told them since they had my jeep, I couldn't just swing by. The response was "since you don't want to come in, I can't help you." After much inconvenience, I get to the shop. Two men, I assume were front office guy brought me out to the garage, where several other men were gathered like a small mob, and talked me like I was 2 years old. I told them my biggest complaint was that if they knew the engine was bad why charge me for struts, throttle and spark plugs... HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ENGINE. Horrible attitude when confronted (yelled in my face). Their response was "you authorized it"--even though I told them I know nothing about cars and if you told me those things were necessary to get the engine light off, which was why I said to go ahead. Then they admitted that the "codes" said those things were necessary but had nothing to do with the engine light. But had I known at the time that they had nothing to do with the engine light, I would have said forget it--not worth putting money in the car if the engine was bad. Living on social security, I could have found better uses for that money. Plus, now it drives so much worst than it was driving when I brought it in to Five Brothers. Then several men "ganged up" on me when I kept insisting that I came in for an engine line and the light was still on! They threatened to take out the parts and replace with parts out of the garbage can. Then one of the front office guys told me the compression was low and I needed a new engine, which would cost me $3500, but they could give me a deal for another $2500. I told them absolutely not and to just give me my keys. They refused until I paid $250 more for the spark plugs and ignition coil. I argued but more men kept coming to the small "mob" around me in the garage. So, I paid with my debit card and put "under duress" under my signature. They gave me my key and I left. THIS IS THE WORST SHOP EVER. They do NOT take care about customers and use bully tactics, deceit and outright lies. SHAME ON THEM! read more

For starters , they couldn't paint match the parts to the paint job I originally had, not only that but the actual paint job was horrible, left drip stains around ,I received the car after the car was ready and I wasn't satisfied with the paint job so they took it back for a whole other week and gave it back like this (basically the same way they gave it back the first time ) next , they couldn't install a headlight the correct way ; ( left it sticking out a couple inches , it was sturdy , and it wasn't tight .) next , they left the car absolutely a mess in the interior, stains And dirt all over & somehow they managed to ruin my window tint on the driver side back window . Incredibly unorganized. Slow in both speaking English and fixing the car I brought in. The mechanic wasn't even there when I brought my car. The estimate was already done days before. I waited over an hour before they even got started. I not sure if this is normal mechanic behavior? or I'm either just really impatient or these guys are asses. My dad say's it's a good place for the price. I suppose that means I'm not getting ripped off. Which is good. As a female car people are often trying to take my money. I called my dad to get him to talk to the brothers. They didn't answer the phone. Luckily a coffee shop just opened up across the street where I can rant about how much I hate mechanics here on Yelp. Later that night I went to a friends house for dinner. I put 10 bucks in the gas tank and it was running on empty when I got there. It smelled strongly of gasoline and I have to leave it there overnight. Apparently the new part they installed was broken. The mechanic drove their a few times and worked on it in the dark and rain for three hours. My friend gave him a helmet flashlight to use.
