Upon arriving, I was met by Roxanne who welcomed me. This review gets better! Upon leaving, the battery in my key fob died so Roxanne saw me trying to find where to put the key to open the door. They told me that the David Yurman store in Buckhead only carries items for men...well I knew that was not accurate as I have been shopping at the Buckhead location for 15 years. They also told me that they could check the Buckhead location for inventory. I thought that was odd and opted to go to the Buckhead location anyway. She was friendly, professional and took time to review my jewelry documentation and carefully inspect my jewelry while completed a short form She clearly explained the appraisal process, which made everything feel straightforward and stress-free. I…read morecouldn't get my wedding rings off for a surgery that was requesting I wear no jewelry, so I went to More Than Diamonds where Billy kindly cut my rings off and gave me some ideas of what I could do to make the bands bigger. He gave me some options and I left the rings there on a Friday afternoon and I received a message that they were ready for pick-up on Tuesday. A different fellow rang me up and he was just as friendly and professional as Billy. But WOW. My rings look stunning. Absolutely dazzling and better than the day that they were new. It wasn't a cheap fix, to size the 2 bands up but it's worth it so that I can wear them, at least until I decide if I want to re-design them into a different style sometime down the road, which they told me they do at More Than Diamonds too. The guy said he couldn't do it without adding silver, and that it was better to replace it. They tried selling me a bunch of very cheap looking stainless steel and hollow silver wedding bands. When I said I didn't want them, they said they could make the ring bigger, but it would cost $80 - the entire cost of the ring. So I left, went to a small jewelry stand I happened to come across in Northlake mall, and the man there re-sized it perfectly for $30 and was professional and straightforward. I definitely wouldn't go to Flawless Jewelry & Phone Repair unless you know exactly what you need done and how much it should cost, and don't mind dealing with sliminess.
