I didn't start with Dr. Gorman but his prior partner who didn't leave in the most professional manner. I'm extremely happy that the practice continued on because I swear if they didn't I would have let all my teeth just fall out. Dr. Gorman has excellent listening skills and definitely shows he cares about his patients. I recently had a root canal under IV sedation. This tooth is the reason I have such phobia and for the first time in 16 years I feel a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. He listened to my concerns and we agreed to a treatment plan that I felt satisfied with. Words can't express my gratitude. Seriously. I pray this man never retires. I have built a trust with him and if you have a dental phobia I encourage you to give him a try. It took a few years but I can get a cleaning without sedation now and a few years ago even had a few small fillings done while awake. My father is a dentist and looked at the X-rays and explained that I needed one for buildup under the gum lines and this was several years ago, he also explained they are only necessary under certain circumstances and originally I fit that, again 2-3 years ago. I was 52 at the time and never needed one while my dad practicing until I was 45, this is NOT normally needed at all. Anyways I explained to them I'd do a regular cleaning and had to argue with them to get that. I go in and the hygienist says I was scheduled for a deep cleaning.
