Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park

We decided to get a membership for the summer and what a mistake that was. It's a much smaller…read moretrampoline park than other places. I didn't realize they allowed summer camps to come in and take over the entire place. I watched one group come in and it was ice pack after ice pack with kids crying getting hurt. There needs to be some kind of capacity limit. A kid from one of these camps jumped on my daughter's leg and broke it. Will not be returning.

My 8-year-old son and I are no strangers to trampoline parks. We've been to Skyzone in Moorestown…read morea few billion times over the years and have always loved it. My son and I came to Urban Adventure yesterday for his friend's birthday party. This trampoline park is a bit smaller than Skyzone but is still a lot of fun and has plenty of fun activities and amenities. The birthday party was well run with plenty of pizza and donuts and drinks. The birthday boy was sick the first two times the party was scheduled and his mother told me rescheduling was a breeze and there were no rescheduling fees, so bonus points there. A few of the dads and I all jumped with the kids which was a blast. My only complaint comes in the area of staff. Most of the staff were typical bored and indifferent teenagers, which is fine until I need to start doing their jobs for them. Many of the areas were inconsistently monitored by staff. I was playing dodgeball with the boys from the party, all in third grade, and there was an older boy (6th grader) who had a cannon for an arm and was pelting the younger kids in the face and making at least three or four of them cry over the course of the afternoon. There were no staff members monitoring the dodgeball area while I was in there so I finally talked with him myself and reminded him that he's playing with 8 and 9 year olds and asked him to tone it down. But that shouldn't be my job to do. Safety should be a number one priority in a place like this and the staff really dropped the ball here. At another point another dad and I were the only adults monitoring the jousting area. The foam pit was filled with kids, and we wanted to let two of the boys from the party joust, so we had to ask the kids to get out of the pit so the boys could joust safely. Again, that shouldn't be our job to do. Overall a fun place, but not quite as good as Skyzone, and I think they need to reevaluate procedures for monitoring each section of the park.

As a concept, Pump It Up is fine enough. It's like a warehouse, with 2 large rooms of huge…read moreinflatable obstacles. The kids get to bounce and have fun, and it's a good time had by all. As a BUSINESS, these people have A LOT of room for improvement. We just had our daughters 4th birthday here, and let me count the ways in which things could have been so much better. First, THEY. DO. NOT. PICK. UP. THE. PHONE. And don't bother leaving a message, they won't call you back. I literally must have called them about 15 times, and they answered ONCE, and called me back ONCE. They are a NIGHTMARE to communicate with. Secondly, if you DO get a hold of them, prepare to be nickel and dimed to death; or more accurately, 50 dollar to 100 dollared to death, as this place is EXPENSIVE. You want to bring your own decor? $10 bucks. Put stuff on the walls with tacky putty only? $5 Want them to drop balloons? $50. Fill up balloons? $5 a balloon. There is absolutely no outside food allowed, (except your own cake, confusingly), but you can bring your own food, for a $75 dollar fee. About their food; you get 2 kid cut slices of pizza per kid, and 2 pitchers of juice or soda. Oh, you want water because your kids don't drink sugary drinks? Too bad. They refused to give us TAP. WATER. They straight up said "no." They said we could buy water for the kids, $1 a bottle. A CASE of 48 bottles is $4; you want to charge me 3x more for 1/3 as much?! (Also, you can't bring in a case of water.) Is your kid diabetic? Celiacs disease? Sensory issues? Kosher? Tough crap. You eat their food, or pay the $75 to bring yours. We ordered a hoagie tray from them for the adults, and it was SEVENTY TWO DOLLARS, for 3 wawa-esque hoagies. I've never felt more ripped off in my life. THEN, they automatically add 18% gratuity, (and a $40 photo package), but they will take it off, if in front of the entire staff and all of your guests, you state that you want it off. (They settle the bill in the main room as everyone is leaving.) The place is fine, if a little hard to find, and a little rough around the edges, but having a party here is something I'm glad that I'll never have to do again. Our bill was almost EIGHT. HUNDRED. DOLLARS. That's for 2 hours. It's a great racket for them. I recommend for open jump, but unless your pockets are deep, and you don't mind wrapping everything up in one phone call, then don't have a party here.

Over $650 for a 2 hour party. You read that right…read more Also, the "host" kid was just terrible. Completely unenthusiastic, and was rushing the kids through every single thing. My daughter didn't even have a second to enjoy a slice of her birthday cake because the host was moving on to something else literally a minute after handing out cake. THEN, they had the audacity to add a 18% grat onto the bill. lol. So, that host kid who did terrible and kind of wasn't needed deserves over $100 for 2 hours of "work"? Yeah, no. Also $30 for "photo package"? The camera they used was from like 2005 and the pictures were all terrible. Why wouldn't anyone want that and pay that much? They add that onto your bill. you have to ask them to remove it. Over all, this place is WAY too expensive for what you get. What you get is next to nothing. Should be less than half that price. Would completely skip if you were interested and see this review. Much better options out there where you'll get to spend more time, have more fun and spend less money.

Every room is private so it was just the 2 of us and they let you connect your phone to their system so you can listen to your own playlist while painting. They give you ample and quality gear - poncho, coveralls, gloves and goggles. And then they send you into the room with plenty of paint, 1 canvas per person and whatever else you ordered (paint bombs, paint guns, spin art, stencils, etc). We also got the bear pour as an add-on and I'm super excited about it! (Note that the bear can't be taken home that day though so we paid for shipping). You can paint wherever and however to your hearts desire. Our room also had plastic axe throwing and a drum with paint on it to splatter. I LOVE taking pictures so I also very much appreciated that they come in constantly to take pictures and send them to you a few days later. When it was time to go, they give you pizza boxes that hold the canvases perfectly. We laid down a sheet in our trunk underneath but it wasn't necessary (and our canvases had A LOT of paint on them so we we were impressed they didn't spill - and made the 1.5 hr drive home without getting ruined). It was a fun way to celebrate my birthday and I would definitely go back with my 3 boys! Afterwards, we did their target zone with BB guns (they said age minimum is about 10 which makes sense). I wasn't sure if we'd do it but I wanted to extend our day to more than just the hour so we went ahead and did it. VERY WORTH IT! Ron helped us and was a great instructor - very nice and happy to be there. We tried their airsoft rifles and then their handguns and both were very different and fun to play with. My husband and I went head to head making it a fun competition and it's pretty easy to pick it up quickly. Overall, great experience and really friendly staff!

There isnt a large enclosed space in any of the structures which I loved because I get nervous when he is up in the tubes for too long. Another great feature was all the toys spread out throughout the playground, most importantly for my son they had many toys cars! He was so excited when he found a stash of cars. Other toys they had were stuffed animals, and many different balls smooth as well as textured. There were two women working that day and both were very good with the kids and kept everything fun for them while sticking to their schedule. My son had a great time running around, going down the slides, and playing with the toy cars. After about a half hour of organized kiddo chaos the people who work there had a few activities for the kids. First they went down the slide into a million colorful sheer scarves, then they jumped off a structure into two stacked tubes with the same colorful scarves, after that they played with the ever-popular rainbow parachute with little plush puppies in the middle. Then back to regular play. After playing and eating, the last activity was a bubble dance party, the kids (and parents) went into a darkened room with black lights and danced with bubbles coming out every few minutes- the kids went nuts for the bubbles! There is also a smaller play area where the children can pretend they are in a tiny town with a grocery store, kitchen, etc. During the beginning of the party this small area was a refuge for the smaller babies. I would love to come here again, and would definitely consider it for my son's future birthdays, the only drawback (for me) is that it's an hour away. 5/5

We hosted 20 little guys which included some of their siblings up to 5/6 years old. All had a blast. Playing hard for an hour. Following free play was pizza. Cake. A little more free play then ended with a dance party in the bubble room under the black lights. The kids loves every moment. 2 hours exactly. They had all the decorations for us and the pizza. We brought waters. Juice boxes. And a pretzel tray. Parents and kids all ate. Extra tables and chairs are there for the adults. Did the 10 am slot. Price is comparable to Bounce U but definitely better for the 2-4 year old crowd. Highly recommend.
