Atlantic Frittata with cheese and a side of toast
Kacey D.

I have come to Atlantic many times over the years to grab breakfast with family. This is one of our go to spots when it comes to a nice brunch, though I haven't had too much of their dinner options. My favorite dishes are amongst their fresh egg and omelette options, however I recently tried their cheeseburger club with a side of fries and loved it! The staff is usually very helpful, though sometimes the food can take a little longer since they tend to be busy. I would definitely check this place out if you are big on breakfast and diners!

Turkey club. Highly recommend.

We moved down south years ago and have noticed that they don't have diners/family restaurants like they do up here... so while visiting the ROC, we wanted to find a good diner/family restaurant. There were ample choices but a friend highly recommended the Atlantic. The parking lot was PACKED when we rolled in around 1pm on a Wednesday. We initially thought we were going to have a huge wait. Luckily, we were seated right away. Plenty of seating and despite the crowded parking lot, we didn't feel like it was packed inside. And by the way, apparently this is the happening joint for folks over 80. We were the youngest in the place by a long shot. The menu was vast and we decided on 2 Turkey clubs and our kiddos picked: Mickey Mouse pancakes, chicken fingers/fries and hotdog/fries. Food came out fairly quick and was accurate. We haven't had club sandwiches in AGES and they hit the spot! And what is it about diner fries which makes them so much better than other fries? And what is it about those typical old diner plates with the brown rim around the edge that makes food so much better? If your order gets served on a brown rimmed plate, you know it's going to be good. The only reason for 4/5 stars was that I just didn't feel like our waitress was overly friendly. I tried making small talk at the initial meeting and she didn't really respond. She checked on us enough but just didn't have that "I work for tips" happy attitude. Bill was around $42 plus tip for 2 adults and 3 kids. Ah well. All in all, we had a good meal.

We love The Atlantic! When visiting the high school across the road for a meet, we usually make a stop here afterwards. The menu has a ton of variety. In winter, I appreciate its warm atmosphere. Service is always prompt and the prices are reasonable. Love this gem!

Food was okay. Nothing special just standard diner/family restaurant fare. Had a turkey reuben which was serviceable. The thousand island came on the side which was weird. Had a side of fries, which seemed small for the $2.25 up charge. Soft drinks only have a single refill, and my coworker had his drink and it had something floating in it. Televisions had Fox News playing just to keep in mind the clientele.

Over $30.00 for two people to have a burger and fries.

Great skate spot out back in the parking lot, okay food. I've had better, but can't get my mind off that sweet bank in the parking lot.

I have ordered two different omelettes on two different occasions now: an egg white with spinach and mushroom and a meat lovers. Both were quite overcooked and the meat lovers seemed like a thin sheet of egg that they filled with toppings later on like a crepe. Additionally the meat lovers side of rye toast was obviously burnt but still served to me, I just ate around it for a few bites and gave up. My husband ordered fish and chips the first time - I thought the batter was tasty and enjoyed it though I think the filleting of the actual fish could have been a lot cleaner. This item is the only reason my review is not a one star, I thought it tasted good. The second time he ordered clam chowder and a salad that had chicken, fruit, nuts. The salad was fine nothing wrong but not a stand out either it seemed similar to something I'd get as a salad kit from the store. The clam chowder though was awful, so thick and gelatinous it seemed like it was canned which is already a red flag but one of those canned soups that you're supposed to add water to and like they forgot to do that part. On top of being weirdly thick it was also cold you can tell they didn't heat it thoroughly whether that was in a microwave or not though I can't really tell. I truly don't understand the hype or reviews for this restaurant given we've tried multiple items and for the most part fell flat with the sole exception of the fried fish. I was disappointed given the expectation from other reviews and unfortunately we won't be back for a third try.

I made reservations for 4:15. The restaurant opens at 4. I got there right around 4:10 tonight and…read moreit was packed. I chose to wait for my friend in the lobby. Right before my friend got there an older lady, a manager or maybe the owner told me I could only have my table for an hour. What? She showed me her reservation list. So?? It's not my fault that the restaurant was overbooked. I thought this was incredibly rude. My friend and I discussed going to another place and we were told that they would just make the other reservation wait until 6. My friend and I both worked in the food service industry for DECADES. I have never been told or told anyone they only had an hour to eat. We said we didn't want to feel rushed. I'm from out of town we were catching up. We were not planning on camping but an hour was simply not enough time. We are not rude so we ordered as fast as we could. We didn't ask for more time. We got garlic bread as an appetizer. They brought over some complimentary zucchini marinara or something. We both ordered chicken French and our food didn't arrive to our table until nearly 5pm. At some point the lady came to tell us that we didn't have to rush some other ladies were willing to get up. Thank you for letting us know, but it was incredibly tacky to tell us multiple times how long we could stay and what their plans were. And yet they still kept looking at our table making it very uncomfortable. We really only sat there for 15 minutes after our bill was paid. We were gone by 6. The original time we were told we could stay until. The garlic bread was okay. It was just their dinner rolls sliced in half and grilled/toasted. The Italian wedding soup was mostly vegetables (huge vegetable chunks). A few meatballs, some stringy chicken and a very few noodles. The broth was good. The chicken French was excellent for the most part. The spaghetti noodles were short. Almost as if they broken and impossible to twirl on fork to get a bite. It was messy, slurping noodles was so embarrassing. I ended up having to leave most of my noodles on the plate because I had to give up. It was a nearly $29.00 dish. I had specifically asked our server to put the garlic bread on my check since we were paying separately. She ended up splitting it between our checks. I wasn't happy with that. I wanted to pay for it myself. We tipped very generously each over 30% for apparently the huge inconvenience we caused. Giving this place a 4 is also generous. I'm not sure I would come back here again. For it being both of our first times coming here-the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. The ambiance is nice, the lighting is good but the whole debacle with being told how long we could stay and then "not realizing we had a reservation she thought we were walk ins. " The food presentation (huge obvious towel swipe on my dish-hope that was a clean towel and there wasn't any cross contamination), the soup may as well been called Italian vegetable soup and the short noodles making it impossible to enjoy a pricey dish... the dessert menu is also lacking. Maybe giving it a 4 is misleading.

I've been here a bunch of times and every visit is a flavor adventure. The star of the show is definitely their sausage selection. What I absolutely LOVE is that they have different, creative flavors changing each week! One week it might be a mind-blowing sun-dried tomato and basil, the next a spicy mango habanero, or a classic hot Italian that's just perfect. It keeps me coming back to see what new concoction they've dreamed up. You can tell they use top-notch ingredients - the quality is just fantastic. But it doesn't stop at sausage! I was so thrilled to find out they also have pierogi! They are SO good - tender, flavorful, and a perfect complement to the sausages or just great on their own. It's like a little taste of Eastern Europe right here in Webster. And then, just when you think it can't get any better, you spot the cannolis. Oh. My. Goodness. Crispy shell, creamy filling - they are the real deal and the perfect way to finish off your visit (or, you know, to eat in the car on the way home, no judgment here!). The staff are always friendly and helpful, clearly passionate about what they do. It feels like a genuine, old-school butcher shop/deli with a fantastic local vibe. If you haven't been to Costanza's yet, you are seriously missing out. Amazing variety, fantastic quality, and those delightful pierogi and cannolis make it a 5-star experience every single time!
