    Having recently moved into the South End, I needed some high-quality, ideally low-priced furniture…read more I work from home, so an oversized work desk is essential. I looked at furniture places throughout the area, from Jordans to Bobs to Asian furniture stores and Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams. I also looked online at Costco, Staples and craigslist. Jordans had a nice $2,200 l-shaped desk, but it didn't have nearly enough storage. Staples carried a number of nice furniture lines, but by the time I constructed my ideal desk with their components, it was going to be $3-5,000. Here's where Bucklin office furniture came to the rescue. I saw an add for them listing high end furniture, specifically a Rosewood and granite set from some CEO's office. That desk and office set was first off still out of my price range at $2,700 (1/5-1/8 of its original cost) and way too large for my place. I phoned the owner, Dave and set up an appointment for the next morning to tour the warehouse and look through inventory photos. In the end I purchased a huge gently used Hon desk (Hon is makers of high durability mid to high end furniture). See the photo attached. I paid $850 for this suite which would cost about $4500 new from Staples. It is gently used, so there's a mark here and there, but who cares??? His team brought it up three flights and installed it and it looks phenomenal! I'd recommend Bucklin for anybody looking for a mid to high-end desk or office furniture that doesn't mind if it's gently used. In addition to desks, they have an awesome selection of desk chairs and other odd furniture...just office furniture though, no bedroom stuff. They have the capability to outfit and entire massive office, or a single desk.

The store was remarkable in the sense it is smaller yet almost every office set up you might want seems to be on display. We quickly settled on an L shaped configuration ac matching cabinet and well beneath our "guess" at the price. Two things that stand out. We paid for delivery and set up. It arrived on time and could not have asked for more professional a gentleman doing the installation. I had a minor defect ( from manufacturer-they would not have known) on the cabinet. Hard to see unless you are looking specifically for it. I texted Jake at the store, sent a picture and within minutes I had a response saying the part was on its way-that simple. It came in about 3days. Perfect response from a business. I am so impressed I will had Joe's to the list we have of business's we provide to the residents of our association. I just received my last package a week ago...ALMOST THREE MONTHS LATER. I spent over $400 to ship my things across the country in a timely manner. I called at least 3-5 times every week trying to locate my packages because the original tracking numbers were bogus. The staff there didn't know where my packages were for weeks, until finally someone discovered them sitting at another facility. I spoke with Bill, the manager/owner and he never had answers for me. When I called and left messages or emails seeking new tracking numbers, my calls were never returned. Bill became annoyed and rude, at times, when I would call because he was "sick of dealing with this". Trust me dude, I was too. Now that I finally have all my belongings, I have inquired about a full refund as I certainly did not receive the service I paid for in the timely manner it was promised. Once again, I have yet to hear back from Bill. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. This place is a joke and Fed Ex will hear about how poorly customers are treated at a company they are affiliated with.

    Hosea's painter team did nothing short of a miracle job. Really…read more I wholeheartedly recommend you go with them. You can't go wrong. I appreciated his teams' skills and most importantly his ethics, honesty and integrity. I recruited Hosea and his team for a risky paint job due to the unusual designer type of paint we were going to use. Also, I had a very tight deadline at risk of not being able to move in. Every painters told me they needed at least 2 weeks or more to finish it, even with a 3-person teams. This even included a large national paint companies (those who specialized on commercial or corporate buildings). Hosea's team were able to finish it in just about a week or slightly more, allowing me to move in right in time. I used a designer paint complex to handle and prone to mistake from inexperienced painters with this particular paint. As expected, they made a mistake, but owned it without creating difficulties. The end result ended up very fan-tas-tic, above and beyond expectations. And the pricing (certainly not cheap) was rightly fair and quite reasonable I think. I am so glad I selected Hosea for this impossible mission job. It was a total success. Attached are photos before/after the job. Paint was from Farrow & Ball with the exception of the windows trim (Sherwin Williams).
