    Update--the piece of wood pictured eventually tore my floor board up. Headboard also snapped from just slightly leaning on it. Not only did this bed hurt my back but now I'm out my security deposit for it. Never again!

    Ten years ago, I went in for a bedroom set and came out proud and satisfied. Al Baker assisted me, and since then, my whole family has been there. I love their furniture and how easy the process is. I'd definitely recommend them. Thank you Al and Jose

    Got a bedroom set that was beautiful, price was reasonable and the deli ery guys were awesome. Glad i went there. Would highly recommend

    Went in and immediately was greeted with a smile, didn't purchase anything but was able to find what I was looking for. I decided to come back next week and purchase the Day Bed they have to offer. Delivery was right on time and they also set it up in less than 25 minutes. Very friendly service in general!! I will definitely be coming back and also recommending it to others. Thank you for all your help and patience

    I went in to Adams with my husban, I was shown around the store by Alb... he was very fast and friendly but I just wish he had little more patience with us our English isn't the best but it's not bad. Emily at the receptionist was very very kind and patience with us and told us everything in Portuguese so we don't get confusid. I bought a sectional and got delivery early Morning because I appreciate this. Thank you Adams

    Beautiful set! As noted in a previous post, two chairs had arrived damaged but they were replaced within a couple hours!. I am very happy with this beautiful set and especially the customer service! Thank you!!

    This review will be 3 different times in one…read more 3/5 Finally stopped in MLs mostly to browse. Turned out they had a lot of nice inexpensive furniture. I bought a media table for my TV, couch with built in chaise, coffee table end table set and a dinette set with 2 red chairs and 2 grey chairs that I think will look fantastic in my condo. 3/19 Received a call from MLs saying they can't do the red and grey chairs. Either 1 of each color or all brown. I asked to speak to the manager. Mike gave me the song and dance about trying to get what I ordered. Unbeknownst to me. I asked if I choose different colors then what I wanted can I get a discount? He repeatedly said all brown or 1 of each color. I asked why he waited until the day before my delivery to tell me I can't have what I ordered and that I'd be willing to change it if he offered me a discount. He begrudgingly gave me a whopping $10 off the $249 dinette set. Now you have to realize that when I was in the store he told me about all the real estate he owns and that his kids go to private school. I did not read any previous reviews of this store until today but I'll leave that up to you. I'm just aggravated that they waited until now to tell me. I chose those colors for a reason. My wife and I visited several furniture stores before deciding to shop here, and from the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Brian Lieb. He was extremely courteous, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. My wife had countless questions, and Brian patiently answered every one of them without hesitation. He walked us through the store, explained everything in detail, and made the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable. We ultimately purchased a loveseat, two chairs, and a small table that was perfect for our needs. The table was a floor model offered at 50% off. However, since it was a floor piece, it was not eligible for delivery, so I returned two days later to pick it up. That's where the issue began. When I arrived, Brian was assisting another customer, so I checked in with customer service and was directed to the pickup area. After waiting about 10 minutes, I was told the loading team was on lunch break and that it would take another 15 minutes. Initially, I was understanding, but after 30 minutes, I followed up again and was informed that the table was still on the showroom floor and had not yet been brought to the pickup area. During this time, I noticed other customers receiving large furniture pickups while I continued to wait. After nearly an hour with no clear communication or progress, I became frustrated and decided to cancel the pickup. The refund was processed, and I left feeling disappointed and concerned about the level of service. At that point, I was even considering canceling the entire order. What stood out most was that no one followed up after the cancellation to understand what went wrong. However, the turning point came the next day. Brian personally called me--on his day off, and even on his birthday--to apologize and explain that this situation was a one-time issue. His willingness to go above and beyond to make things right truly stood out and restored my confidence in the company. Because of his effort, I decided to give them another chance and repurchased the table online. There was a minor scheduling error with the delivery date, but Brian responded immediately, corrected the issue, and ensured everything was delivered as requested. He even worked with his manager to provide an additional discount on the floor model. In the end, everything arrived properly and met our expectations. If it weren't for Brian, I would have canceled the entire order. His professionalism, dedication, and genuine commitment to customer service made all the difference. With over 20 years of experience in customer service myself, I can confidently say that Brian is a tremendous asset to the company. Thank you, Brian, for going above and beyond

    Waited 3 hrs for sofa delivery that never arrived even though got text confirmation on the 3hr…read morewindow it would be delivered. When I called, they said the sofa arrived broken to their warehouse last night and they were trying to fix it before delivering. I asked why no one called me to tell me of an issue or delay and they were going to deliver a broken sofa to me? They Said I would probably want a new one and they would order a new one for me but it will be a while! No one was going to call me about a delay or issue! They were going to deliver a damaged product! Asked for a refund. Manager said 5-7 days.

Prices are well marked and the displays are good. I got a few things for my apartment including a shower curtain and a bath mat, plus some greeting cards for a pretty good price. Big Lots probably falls between a Dollar General and Walmart for prices. It's good, but you can possibly do better if you're willing to make effort. But for me, this was easy and convenient and A-OK.

Now when I say line you probably think 4 maybe 5 people tops, right??? WRONG AGAIN! There was about 9 or 10 of us waiting in line, which is completely crazy because if I counted right there are 6 registers none of which had signs saying broken! So there's an older woman whose working the register and she doing her best to go with the flow. People started getting fidgety and this guy says loudly "somebody should help the lady behind the counter, cause you're all just sitting there and starring at her do all the work? So then I'm sure you all know the fe Fi fo fum giant jerk who thinks he's like an amazing manager or something but he's completely useless, he in his most professional voice possible yells to the customer "shut up scumb bag" the man then proceeded to tell him to step outside and see who the scumb bag is. This wasn't the first time I've seen him treat homeless customers this way. He's always passing judgement or picking fights with the homeless people around here. They don't bother anyone, honestly I think it makes him feel better to pick on those who have it harder than he does. He's definitely not the type of person I would want to be running any store I owned. It just makes Big Lots look bad and look like they approve of how judgemental he is and how poorly he treats certain customers. This specific homeless man is always in the store and I always see him paying for his merchandise and being so polite to everyone. Of course the giant useless jerk didn't go outside an no one proceeded to help the poor lady! I swear everytime I come to this location things get worse and worse. It should be called "Big Lots Circus."

Thankfully Xavier was the one for us that day! We told him what we needed, the dimensions that would work, and the color palate. He wandered around with us while we sat on and measured everything. He showed us things, we showed him things and generally had a really fun time together for several hours on the showroom floor. We purchased several pieces of furniture on our Bob's credit card. I think we were like $50 over the limit and I was asked if I wanted a one time credit increase. I was NOT made aware there would be a hard impact which really REALLY angers me and is something the manager should have explained. I would have just paid the $50 and saved the credit hit. Like think that through folks... Anyway, we made our order and had to wait for manager approval. That is one I don't understand like another reviewer wrote - is it a sales tactic or do you just not trust your salespeople? Regardless, we are really grateful for Xavier spending time with us to find the perfect furniture pieces for our new home. The delivery was another issue entirely. Our closing date was pushed back so I was easily able to reschedule my delivery the first time. I was also informed we could select our delivery window the day before. On the day before delivery, we were told our delivery was slotted for 7am-10am. That wasn't going to work because we had our movers scheduled. I called. I used the chat feature. I emailed. I was told from the chat feature that someone in management would reach out to me by 4pm. At 5pm I asked how much longer. At 7pm I followed up again. At 10pm one more time but alas their customer service was closed. I had to rearrange my entire morning for the delivery to show up at 945am. The men who delivered were great. They were careful with our newly refinished wood floors, set the furniture up exactly how and where I wanted it and cleaned out all the associated trash. Sadly one of the pieces wouldn't fit through the doorway to the room we needed and had to send it back. Customer service called me to confirm the return of that piece and that I would be receiving a credit on my first statement. All in all the delivery was a success.
