I was just provided with a gate code about 2 weeks ago! Now that I filed a dispute they decided to threaten me with an email and this is my response. Hello Laura, Thank you for the threatening email. This dispute will stay open. I have never been to your location and never even received my gate code until earlier this month! (please check your recorded line). Also, I was never able to move in, per your email to me which I also provided to Wells Fargo stating that you needed my: -Proof of Insurance -Proof of Current Registration and/or Title (must be in your name) -Picture of your DL/ID -Lease Agreement (Must be completed). I hope you remember that. I legally could NOT move in without providing you that information nor could I move in without a gate code! I am the last person you want to send a threatening email to. I will gladly share my experience with Gary Wojtaszek and let him know how I've been threatened, demoralized, insulted and cheated by YOU. You are nothing but a scammer, you will not take my money and I will socialize this in every medium I can. This is the last time you are to contact me directly or I will file charges. Today they want to apply a 25% price increase for uncovered storage without power in a gravel lot. In previous year they applied a 30% increase. No improvements have been made to the facility since I've been there. I have friend at another RecNation facility within 5 miles paying $100 less for the same type of spot. They said they would price match another rate I emailed them. A day later they declined to match it. I canceled with them and signed with another storage facility within 10 miles for $100 less per month.

We needed to move storage units from one side of town to another, so we had to rent a U-Haul truck…read more We did a search, and this one seemed like the best location, so we reserved one online and scheduled the day and pick up of the truck. We arrived to U-Stor relatively early, showed them our reservation, within five minutes, we were given the keys and we were on our way. We were told that we had the truck until three and could just drop the keys off and "check out" after we were done. After hours of moving, gassing up the truck, we parked the truck at U-Stor, dropped the keys in the return box (because the office was closed), and we were on our way. We were told we needed to check out and didn't want to be charged extra, so we wound up calling the office and left a message on their answering machine (voicemail), etc. Pros: -Easy pick up and drop off of truck -Quick and painless Cons: -Moving in general is not fun Tips: You can reserve the truck online

Second thing, they were suppose to bring a 3 man team and ended up with 2. More time it takes, more money. At the end, at bill paying time they took off $25 for the third person not showing! Thirdly, they sure chat up with my hubby. Hmmm, more time, more money. The time sure stretched out. Finally, that I know of right now, they put boxes wherever! I clearly had each box marked as to which room it goes. They would also ask me, I finally started saying "what's the box say?" Moving is stressful as it is, I would know, I've done it every two years most of my life (military). This was pretty stressful. I also tipped generously because I know moving "stuff" is not easy. When I move again, because I get restless in one place, I may have to find a different moving company.
