They've got water bottles, shoes, and outdoor recreational equipment on the first floor & on the second floor they have a mix of women's, men's, and kid's clothing. I adore their duck boots, a must for the winter time... specifically their shearling-lined insulated model. Incredibly warm, perfect for snow days. Their "wicked good moccasins" are incredibly comfortable and I love wearing them in the fall/winter time. I've definitely gone through several pairs. Backpacks are super nostalgic; I had mine with my initials as a kid haha, honestly I would get another one. Good quality, got about ten years of use out of that backpack & it allowed me to carry 5 heavy textbooks and some more.

Usually I don't do this, especially in specialty shops, because I don't like the pressure to buy or bad vibes for not knowing ridiculous details of what I thought was just a sweater. One of the sales guys approached me (Ray, I think?) while I was checking out their jackets. Being a reduce, reuse, recycle kinda guy, i was happy to learn the Planet Earth jackets they stock use sustainable fabrics. They had a great selection which made finding something that fit my style easy. Ray was asking me questions while I was grabbing some other stuff and he suggested I check out their custom footbeds. I've been using Superfeet and love them, but felt a step up in the footbed department would be instrumental in getting my riding to the next level. I was hoping the custom footbeds would have an impact similar to using the right running shoes for my foot/strike. They worked out way better than I expected! I had no problems with the new boots I got for Christmas (K2 Maysis) on my first day out. Footbed and boot overall felt great. That was a huge for my week long trip in Whistler! The gears kept me dry, warm, and comfortable which is precisely what I need. Custom footbeds are killer. It's a huge step up! Got a great deal on everything. Knowledgeable staff helped me find some things I might have missed (they even had a helmet delivered the next morning from one of their other stores), and they gave me some great advice on caring for my equipment, too. 5 stars for customer service, price, and selection.

I don't know if the type of vacation (hiking and camping) helped to self select the people but by the end of the week we had gotten really close as a group. SUP YO also picked amazing guides. They were fun, funny, knowledgeable, and basically one of the gang with guide authority. The owner of the company came with us on this trip. She was fun, did everything we did, never put on any airs, and I felt like she was "one of us.". All of the food, hotel, etc was taken care of. We even celebrated a birthday for one one of the hikers in the group!
