Juan was the DJ and…read moreAllan and Stacy were our MCs (Stacy was training Allan, which they informed us beforehand; Stacy has 15+ years of experience, and team experience with Juan for 10+ I believe). I do believe Stacy is stepping away from the business, hence the MC in training, but we were lucky to have her with us. We also added the photobooth to our package, manned by Jason Moon. For our initial meeting with them, we just met at a Panera and they were so pleasant and very low-key, which we loved. They definitely have the experience and were confident in their work, but were not at all overbearing, which we had encountered with other DJ/MCs we interviewed. They even gave us tips to ask other DJs/MCs in case we were interviewing with others, like insurance for any equipment and such. We just got a very good, solid vibe from them, and we definitely were happy we hired them. After signing a contract with them (all online, so no need for additional arduous meetups), AJDJ sent us a link to their own online music system where they created an account for us to use. On this site you can list all your wedding details and songs you want for whichever part of the wedding. And they respond very quickly if you leave a message. Juan called me a week before our wedding to confirm songs, timeline, and any additional 'events' (like bouquet toss, which we didn't do, and shoe game, which we did do). They even organized the whole Shoe Game for us! We didn't have to worry about that at all! I thought I'd have to write the questions or explain to them about it, but nope, they handled it, we didn't have to worry about even one question, I just said yes, I want that, and poof, magic, it was sooo much fun. And Stacy is amazing. She was almost like our day of wedding planner. She checked in with us about shifting things when we were running slightly behind schedule, she really helped make the reception run soooooo smoothly. Not just the reception actually, she helped with our processional entrance pacing for the ceremony and reception entrances, and made sure we got to use the photobooth we hired. I wished we pushed the guests more to use the photobooth, it also came with a memory book we used as our guest book! No regrets here, only praise. Everything ran perfectly =).

I could not have been more pleased and am so happy I had the opportunity to work with her! Bhavna did my henna for my wedding this past April. She custom designed my henna to make it personal to my relationship with my husband. I don't have a car and it was difficult to me to get to Clarksburg for a consultation, so she made things easy for me by face timing with me to discuss the design. We talked over what I wanted to include, what kind of shapes and florals I liked, and she listened and accommodated my requests even if some of my requests were outside her comfort zone. I told her my husband and I love national parks and that he had proposed to me at Acadia National Park in Maine. She created a design that included scenes from national parks on the back of both my forearms. My husband loves paisley so she included paisley designs on my arms and legs. I asked her if she could draw my husband's face on my palm. It was something no other bride has asked her to do and new, but she accommodated my request.
