Bought a refrigerator in June 2025. Said it was a repo but good as new, paid by check, postponed delivery until they cashed the check. When they finally delivered it they put a 2 foot scratch and dent in the side. The delivery Guy said " Oh well, I'll give you a free bottle of touch up paint. Today, 4/14/26, ice maker went out and so did the compressor, so it is an 18 cu ft oven, and not any kind of warranty. Receipt for work neither approved by customer on July 13th nor completed until July 27th. When questioned about the charge on July 13th, Bob, the Owner states, "I want to be paid or I will send my guy back and take the part out" when it hadn't been installed until July 27th (documented by the Visitor log). Bob is a verified liar and unethical businessman. When confronted about the matter, Bob stated he would not charge for a future service call. On November 23, 2022, sixteen months later, I called Bob to have him repair the unit again since the part he had installed failed. He answered the phone stating he doesn't remember me and doesn't have anyone at this time he can send out to make the repairs. This businessman has been documented to be unethical and a thief. 11 STEPS. I live in Harbor Greens condos. Delivery trucks hit and damage our property constantly. Truck parking areas are clearly marked. Nick (the heavy set one) was politely asked bu our HOA president to move his truck back to the main road, 11 steps further. Nick said "the truck's not moving." The entitled teen, Ill call Bieber (the haircut) also replied "call my grandpa, he owns the company." Bieber called and put me on the phone. Atlas Appliance. I am so sorry. I have recommended Atlas Appliance on Seminole Blvd in the past. Over the past 4 years I have now purchased 3 new appliances. This past week I had a terrible experience. Russell, owners brother, had no problem selling me stack washer and dryer and taking my money. A few days later when I called for delivery I was treated as poorly as possible. The speaker insisted I should put the unit in my shed and they could not get it down my hallway. I don't have a shed nor a hallway. He was telling me about my home without ever asking a question or knowing a thing about my home. Next day delivery and no issues. Old washer and dryer were in drive way. Next day I start getting phone calls from Atlas. Insisting I owed them washer and dryer. I went on-site to talk with Russell. He insisted phone call never happened. I told them old washer and dryer were gone when they left. If they didn't get it them, why didn't they come back in and ask me where they were. Funny, I didn't hear from them until next day. Russell told me to "fXx myself" And walked away. So much for supporting your local businesses. Stay far away from these people. ATLAS APPLIANCE ON SEMINOLE BLVD VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I have lived in Blossom Lake since April on 1986. I have purchased several appliances from this company. I have had them out for service on many occasions. I don't know what has happened to this family owned business but I can tell you the service has gone down hill! I remember standing outside this building several years ago when they had a fire and actually cried and felt sorry for Mr. Robert James Sutton (owner). Recently, I have had an issue with an icemaker (purchased from Lowes and out of warranty and extended warranty by only a year.) I have had 5 service calls for the same issue with Atlas. 2 different servicemen, the first one removed all of my frozen goods out of the freezer (lower drawer unit) took the drawers out and assessed the icemaker. When he was reinstalling, he actually was banging the drawer rails with a wrench to try to get the drawers back in after removing them. This created a problem with the door not closing properly and the original problem persisted. This cost me about $300. I called again to let them know the problem was not taken care of and they sent out serviceman #2 Kevin. Kevin informed me that the first serviceman was no longer with Atlas Appliance Service. Kevin did not take out the drawers but attempted to align the drawer rails and said that was the problem why I was getting huge sheets of ice in the bottom of my freezer and causing it not to close. I explainee that the problem of sheets of ice was not new, this is why I called them initially. He checked the line to make sure there were no obstructions and charged me $100 for the service call (remember I had them out to fix this before and they did not fix the problem that cost me $300 initially. Kevin left and gave me his personal cell number and told me to call him directly if it didnt solve the problem. Well the problem was not resolved and he wrote his cell number down wrong! So I called Atlas Appliance again, each time I spoke with the Manager Nick (he states he has been "running" this place for the past ten years. I explained the problem has not been fixed, I tried calling Kevin but he gave me the wrong number. Nick said he would have Kevin call me. 2 days went by and no call, finally he called and came back out to reassess the problem, he again checked the lines and tried to straighten the rails out again. Cost $100 again. Again the problem was not solved, I called again, Nick sent out Kevin. Cost $100. Problem not solved. Now almost $600 later, my husband came home and I was on the floor, removing the huge sheet of ice on the bottom of the freezer again. I took the ice and bagged it and went to Atlas Appliance to show them the problem, Nick actually asked me "why do you keep calling us to fix it? Well, I called you initially, the problem is not fixed! I expected them to fix it the first time and I feel I have been very patient with the attempts. My husband says to me, let me look at it and see if I can figure it out. Guess what? He did, so I called Nick and my husband got on the phone and explained that the line for the icemaker is not lined up properly and needs a little nipple to avoid the water spraying out of the reservoir. Nick said it should have had one on it and he would look for the part and they would be out Monday to take care of it (it was on a Saturday). A little while later, Nick called and said he was sending Kevin out with the part (the little nipple). When Kevin arrived, he didnt have the little nipple, he went back to his car then came back in, he started removing the icemaker and broke the reservoir off the icemaker!!! He actually said "I knew this was going to happen", he left and went to Atlas Appliance (just a block from my home) and brought some reservoirs but they wouldnt fit since mine was attached/manufactured as one piece with the icemaker. So, you can only guess now my problem is even bigger, it requires a new icemaker to make ice. Kevin gathered his things and left. I have called Atlas Appliance multiple times over the past 3 weeks inquiring when my part would be in and they would be fixing my icemaker. It is still not fixed and it gets better! Nick, the manager who has been the manager for "ten" years, told my husband that his serviceman Kevin told him that we broke the reservoir, in other words Kevin the serviceman out right lied!!!! Nick goes on to say "the customer is always right" saying is one thing but doing is another. No resolution!!!!! I called and asked again when the part would be in and Nick says when I can find one. I said you mean you cant find an icemaker for a Fridgedaire Gallery? Then he goes on to tell me that Mr. Robert Sutton (owner) won't allow him to replace my icemaker that he would have to find the part (that does not exist since it was part of the icemaker). We needed a dishwasher for our rental unit and Home Depot couldn't have been less interested in helping us So we stopped here and told him what we wanted, and he showed us choices, that were all inclusive of delivery, installation etc. versus Home Depot whose price included nothing but delivery. GE extended my warrantee for 3 months but its still not fixed. We went to Atlas and asked for help, nope, we were told the owner wont get involved. Atlas did not show up for service on two separate occasions, never called to say they couldn't come either time. I spoke to the serviceman and he said he is just too busy to come today or tomorrow and possibly the next day but he wasn't sure. I said I can't count on you to show so I have to call a different company for service. I then contacted the store to tell them what the serviceman said and the guy at store said, yeah I talked to him and he told me...that was it. Not I am sorry, not what can we do to keep your business, just kept repeating I understand. At one point he had the excuse about the pandemic and how busy they are (lol, really?) I said I am a registered nurse and am quite familiar with working in the pandemic conditions. I said I am not sure what a pandemic has to do with you not calling to say too busy to come. I said my tenant sat on two separate occasions for 8 hours each time with no phone call and he still never apologized - his response was, I understand. I hope they understand that I am a VA NURSE up the street from their business and will make sure anyone that asks knows how unreliable they are and how poor their customer service is. After our washer broke down we called Atlas for repairs. They came out, looked at the machine and said it would cost $500 for repairs and it would be better to just buy a new one for $600 to $700. We said ok and went to their business location and selected a machine. He stated it was the best one out there right now and had a 10 year warranty and any problems or issues call GE and they would be out in 24 to 48 hours. We paid for the machine and they delivered it when stated. Once installed they set the water level on low and started the machine and said everything was good to go and left. The machine filled with water and then just sat there and did nothing else. It wouldn't complete the cycle or do anything else. I tried canceling the cycle and it wouldn't do that. I called the repair guy and he said call GE. I called GE and they said it would be 2 weeks before they could come out. The machine still wouldn't work in the mean time. I drove to Atlas appliance and spoke with the guy in the store. Asked him if they could just replace the machine with a different one and he said NO. Call GE. I told them I called and they said it would be 2 weeks before they could get out there to repair it. He said oh well that's all we can do. So basically the guy lied to us, sold us a bum machine and doesn't care to do anything about it. We called him again and explained everything and he said to bad. It has a 10 year warranty and GE will take care of it for you. I again asked why they couldn't just bring out a new machine and he said we don't do that. It's under warranty and GE will take care of it. That is not acceptable and we are taking further action. To be continued... We called them for a refrigerator repair. It is only 3.5 years old. We had called the manufacturer first to find out what the potential problem was and they told us it sounded like a heater issue. Atlas came and told us it was the mother board. We doubted it, but they were convinced...to the tune of $530. The board was replaced and we still had a problem. They did come out and replace another board at no additional charge. They said it was all fixed and 3 weeks later we still had a problem. We believe that it was a mis-diagnosis. We had another company come out and they said for this type of fridge you should go to the manufacturer for repair diagnosis because they are the only ones with a "reader" which can correctly diagnose it....which Atlas would have told me that before I was more than $500 in. My medically military retired son (comprehension problems due to Iraq injury) thought to surprise me with a new microwave. When I came home there was an over the range microwave oven sitting on the counter. We have no way of using an over the range as our oven is freestanding with no cabinets or anything to install it. I tried taking the microwave back to get a refund as it was over $350 (which was ridiculous for them to sell that to him to begin with) but was told there were no refunds or exchanges. The owner suggested I try and sell it on eBay or Craigslist. Later our AC unit got a busted freon line and my son called Atlas repair out to fix it. They came and charged my son around $500 to fix it. Although it is running, it was barely blowing and after running continuously for a day and a half, it was still 76 degrees in the house.
