I'd like to start this review by stating my gratitude to Joe and his employees for taking care of me, my car and most importantly, my time. After my vehicle was damaged in a car accident, I found Joe on yelp and brought my vehicle in for an inspection. Joe was courteous, professional, and straight to the point. He worked up a quote, communicated with my insurance agent and also referred me to a rental car company. The headache of dealing with an accident is UNPLEASANT. Beyond injuries, there is paperwork, phone calls, damaged vehicle(s), out of pocket expenses, your time... the list goes on. Joe made the situation a lot more bearable and was very approachable. Things to note- 1. My car came out just as planned and quoted. Very impressive paint job. If I need paint done to my cars in the future, I'll just come back to his shop instead of rolling the dice with another shop. Coming from a background of vehicle modifications and racing, his work speaks for itself. 2. My car was finished as promised, on the day I expected to have it back. This matters because when a rental car is involved, repair work must match up to the date you return the rental car for proper reimbursement. I wasn't in town to pick up my vehicle so he allowed my friend to retrieve it for me. No problems there. 3. Upon inspecting my vehicle post-bodywork, there was a slight scuff mark on my tint, so I informed Joe. He said, "no problem, take it to the shop you had it installed and I will cover it." He didn't argue with me or question the damage, he didn't say "take it to my friend's shop to have it fixed..." etc. This is an example of honesty and accountability, two things which are becoming less and less common, especially in the business world. He apologized and fully reimbursed me for the job (on the same day I brought my receipt!) and I was on my way. Problem solved. As a fellow business owner, I appreciate his candor and sense of urgency. I highly recommend Atlas Auto Body and will be returning to them (if need be, knock on wood) for future use. Joe knows you by name. When you call, he knows its you and is prepared with the information you want. This is what customer service means. In 15 seconds he knew what the damages would cost. When the insurance guy took a look, he put the damages into his calculator and came out with the exact same number. And when additional damages were found, they talked to the insurance and got additional payment and finished the work. When I came to pickup my car, it was pristine again. They even gave me a sheet with information on a recall that they car had. They cleaned the outside and detailed the interior. This was a major help to me as I was looking to sell this car. Joe and his team are A+++ I can't even begin to describe the head and heartache I went thru when some crazy broad rammed right into me and my baby boy (my car), pushing us into the next car while we were stopped at a light. Unless you've been a victim of someone's recklessness, you have no idea how inconvenient it is try and move on from an accident, dealing with insurance, dealing with a rental company, dealing with therapy due to injury, etc. But one thing I did not have to deal with was Atlas Auto Body. All I literally had to do was tow my car over to them (they offer towing at no cost but I had AAA so I didn't get to utilize that part of their service), hand over my driver and insurance info and that was that. Joe took care of the rest, he gave a me pretty accurate estimate of when I can expect my car back but stayed in touch when there was a slight change of plans. We came in because the cover underneath our car had come loose. We came in first thing in the morning and the main manager greeted us recognizing us from the last time we were there over a year ago and stopped what he was doing to look underneath our car. He told us he could work on it right now and it would be done really soon We waited hardly 5 minutes, his mechanic had secured the cover and we were not charged for the repair. This hardly ever happens in today's world and we greatly appreciate the time and generosity that was given to us. We will be future customers and refer Atlas to our friends and family as well. Also, we went to Pep Boys for this issue at 8:15 the night before because they closed at 9pm, the manager never gave us the time of day.. He just told us to come back in the morning. AMAZING! What can I say that will describe the stellar quality of work that Atlas did on my car? Being that I am a female, I have had my share of auto shops try to take advantage of me due to my lack of knowledge but..... not with Atlas! I leased a brand new car and then shortly thereafter I got into a fender bender. The hood was damaged, the front bumper and some other minor repairs needed to be done such as the broken taillight, gas cap cover, etc.... They dealt with my insurance making it so that I did not have to stress over anything at all, they were kind, patient and did an amazing job.
