The room itself was fantastic--great props, creative storylines, and it kept us engaged the whole way through. The hour flew by! We did the Dragon's Egg room, which was so much fun. The Crypt of the Voodoo Queen: Nice game. Props are in fairly good condition. However, one clue should've been "easier" to activate (we had it correct) and one should have not been "with" a previously used clue. Difficulty level is accurate. The rooms were challenging and our group had a great time with the exception of the interaction with one of the workers. Valentine treated our second group completely different than the other worker treated our first group great. Our second group did not enjoy our experience with Valentine. We would consider coming back again. read more

We did the Dragon Egg game and had a great time! 3 adults and 4 kids (ages 10-13). It was designed very well and definately makes you think! The best review is that kids all said they wanted to come back and do another one. The game master was very helpful towards the end with a couple of clues as we were super close to finding the egg but got stuck. We'll be back! read more

We had a blast doing the HMS Constantine room with 2 adults and 2 kids. It was challenging (given we are escape room newbies and 2 of us were 9 years old) but so fun. I didn't know what to expect, as I've never done an escape room. I went with two other friends for a Girls Night. Oh my goodness. What fun. We did the Dragon Egg room and the experience far surpassed my expectations. I didn't know there was so much to do! It was fun working together as a team. The props and materials were so realistic and detailed. I did not expect this to be so exciting and intriguing. Our helper occasionally gave us some help but not too much -- he allowed us to struggle and figure things out but he was paying enough attention to know when we would just get frustrated by some mistakes we'd made. We plan to return and do the rest of the rooms, saving the hardest one for last, of course. read more

Whenever I go to an new escape room I'm always concerned about the puzzles being too illogical to figure out. Atlas was great, lots of puzzles none too difficult or too illogical. I always felt the flow and like we were moving forward. Fantastic place definitely worth visiting. read more

Though the host was very nice, The Dragon's Egg room looks and feels like a room put together on a shoestring budget over a weekend. My daughter and I did the Dragon's Egg room together. I love doing escape rooms and have done several before (my daughter has done a few more than me). There are few puzzles (four, I believe) that don't revolve around either a combo lock or a simple keyed padlock. So no real "wow factor" in the puzzles, which was disappointing. In fact, finding the proper key or code for the proper lock became tedious by the end because there were simply so many. After playing other escape games that took serious time and care with constructing their rooms to immerse you in the story they are trying to tell, The Dragon Egg's décor of modern office furniture in a modern office didn't really transport us to a wizard's lair despite some wall hangings and other loose props. The biggest disappointment was that there was not a single constructed prop or puzzle in the game--this was very different from every other escape room either of us had done. It was simply all very basic stuff . Thanks for the experience, but it was not worth the money and we won't be returning for any other room. read more

One of the best rooms we've seen in the Boulder area. Both rooms we've done were pleasantly challenging and the solutions to the puzzles were satisfying. The game master was clearly paying attention and was able to provide timely help without interfering. Definitely looking forward to the opening of the new room. read more

We've done a lot of these and this one was one of the most creative and interesting rooms we've done. A lot for everyone to work on at once instead of everyone trying to figure things out one thing at a time. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. read more
