As a sober individual it's really hard to find a place with good mocktails. My best friend and I were really excited to try this place due to their extensive mocktail menu (we tip like we are drinking alcoholic beverages.) Unfortunately this place did not meet any of the expectations we were hoping for, the doorman was aggressive in his approach to ask for id, when we were scoping out a spot he rudely let us know that the area we looked at was reserved.... Not a big deal, just could have been nicer. When it was time to order, the couldn't make any of their mocktails aside from one that was $12 for Ginger Beer, Sparking Water and N/A Sparkling Brut. Probably the easiest drink to make, they said it was due to a shipment not coming in. The staff was not super friendly to be honest, although the place is beautiful and the DJ that came in on Saturday 7/25 was great, we enjoyed her set! Sadly won't be coming back to this establishment. Hopefully more bars that provide good service pop up in the area and ones that make non-drinkers feel welcome. Two stars for the restrooms being divided, the great DJ and the decor. read more

Came here for a happy hour with coworkers and friends. Such a hidden gem. The decor and atmosphere offer such a cool vibe that feels truly upscale. As the name might suggest, this places focuses on cocktails throughout the world. Nonetheless, as the opportunity presented itself, we have usually opted happy hour. The first time I came here, I asked for a drink that was recommended. The bartender made a wonderful espresso martini. Despite what I mentioned, this was not on the happy hour menu. It was still a great drink nonetheless. I should have clarified from my end that I was looking for a happy hour drink. Good level of espresso liqueur with smooth vodka. Also, simple presentation with the coffee beans on top. The second time I came here it was also for happy hour. This time, I got the Bee's Knees. This was refreshing and sweet. The harshness of the gin did come through at times but at a tolerable amount that wasn't overwhelming. I liked the visuals of the dehydrated lemon slice. In both visits, we were regularly checked on by staff seeing if we had anything else to order, to gets dishes/glasses out of the way, refill water, etc. Always so kind! I will also note that the restrooms are incredibly clean and well-stocked. Although I've only come to Atlas for happy hour, I would certainly love to come back some day later in the evening because I've heard the vibe and atmosphere is especially more lively during that time. read more

Drinks here are a little pricey but they are always well-crafted and fun to try. I especially enjoyed the Trinidad Sour! The ambiance is also very moody and fun for a night out that doesn't feel like you're in hot, loud, Texas for a minute. The hidden little speakeasy is a really fun touch as well if you want a more quiet environment to hear people talk clearly. We came in here unplanned after going for tacos across the street and I'm so glad we did! It may have been decorated for Christmas, however you could tell that it was still beautiful decor without the sparkle. The servers were great, and the cocktails were delicious we both had something from the seasonal menu. Cool vibes and great drinks are to be had here. It's definitely worth a visit. Thy have a nice bar and plenty of seating with tables and couches, perfect for a group or a date night. I found this place on a google search. I live in Tampa so took a risk here by hosting a small party here in the speakeasy. I really got lucky. I arrived early to decorate and the staff all introduced themselves to me and offered to help. They set up a buffet which was very tasty. The bartender made great drinks and kept them coming. Soooooo, I'm OBSESSED with this quaint hidden gem of a bar!! My ladies bourbon group met up here for a Sagamore tasting, and I could not have loved it more!! When you walk in, might take a minute for your eyes to adjust since it's a very dark, dim lit type of bar. Gorgeous atmosphere with amazing aesthetics. At first glance, you wouldn't be able to tell there's a SECRET hidden back room, a private chamber, a surreptitious bar...okay, you get the point. It was pretty neat and as a group, we felt special having our own private area. I won't tell y'all where it is, you'll have to figure that out on your lonesome. Evil laugh commence. So when I say OBSESSED, I am!! With everything at Atlas, the drinks were over the top fancy and rich, and the presentation....I mean GAHHH!! The flatbreads were crispy and fresh, the staff were on point and helpful, the bar had everything you could need and more, the bathrooms were impeccable and had everything you might need which includes mouthwash. Note there's a "speakeasy" located behind a door that looks like a bookcase but it was wide open when we arrived. Atlas is a really gorgeous bar in Southside Fort Worth right next to The Coupe. Now that I'm thinking about it, Atlas is kinda like the Elphaba to The Coupe's Glinda.... hahah. Okay not exactly but I have Wicked on the brain right now (their PR is ridiculous, I haven't even seen the movie!) and The Coupe is pink, bright, and bubbly while Atlas is dimly lit and mysterious... You'll find ornate rugs, dark furniture, cozy lounge chairs, a large beautiful bar, pretty wooden bookshelves, stunning paintings on the walls -- it's like a sultry library with booze! And that is just my vibe. Atlas, as its name suggests, is focused on global drinks and bites -- their cocktail list takes you around the world with classics like the daiquiri (Cuba), Aperol spritz (Italy), Paloma (Mexico), French martini (New York), the sidecar (France) -- you get the idea. All beautifully made and served in traditional glassware. The food menu is similarly "global" with options like Canadian poutine, German pretzel bites, fried rice, burgers, and flatbreads. Oh my goodness.... Welcome to the neighborhood!!! Atlas is a welcome addition to the near Southside and we will be back! Classy interior that reminds us a bit of Amber Room but larger with more life. We were each given a Pimm's Cup after we were seated - very refreshing with fresh cucumber. We ordered a Cheeky Monkey, Irish Wristwatch, and hubby had a Maker's on the rocks. I have to say that the Cheeky Monkey was one of the best drinks I have ever had. Service was a bit slow, but the free drinks definitely helped us to overlook the wait and I believe it was their third night open, so no big deal. We didn't order any food, but the table next to us had the chips with French Onion dip and some kind of sandwich that looked amazing. Next time! We will be back. read more

The food is soooo good. I highly recommend the cheese curds and the Cuban sandwich. Sometimes I come here just for the food. The drinks are also pretty good. It gets busy on the weekends and it's a nice time to lounge with your friends but beware of a loud volume. During the week it's slow and it's a nice lounge that you can play board games and talk at. We have been coming here since it opened. Have NEVER had a bad experience until recently. New bartender Allie I think is her name, Is HORRIBLE!!!! She was very dismissive the first time. It was very embarrassing since we took 3 new people there that night for the first time. We went back the following Saturday and she talked very badly about me to another service industry person which I was sitting right next to. I had come up here for an event recently. Service was top tier, drinks tasted better than other places I've tried recently. The food options were good, we had gotten a number of items to try like salad, pizza, pretzel bites, etc. I appreciate they have beef meatballs, so I plan on trying a sandwich there next time we stop by Atlas. Cocktails: The craft cocktails are mixed by an incredibly talented staff that takes pride in making you a beverage that exceeds any expectations you may have (tip: espresso martinis here are incredible and the whiskey/bourbon selection won't leave you wanting). The only reason why I am giving 3 stars is because they did not have ice cream for the bread pudding that I ordered. I asked if the price could be discounted because of that fact and the owner thought it appropriate to discount the cost by $1.80- basically a slap in MY face because YOU didn't have ice cream. Half off is more like it because I am missing HALF of the bread pudding experience. Something to consider. I'm being very generous with 3 stars because now I want to leave 2 just thinking about it.
