Impeccable service, delicious food, and an elegance throughout the place that is not seen often in Asian restaurants. Our party was promptly greeted by a lovely young lady with a huge smile. She asked if we had a reservation (at 12 noon on a Sunday!). We didn't as we had just learned of the restaurant 10 minutes prior thanks to Yelp. She told us "no problem, we have a table where you can sit or you are welcome to sit at the bar." We chose the table. Once there, a kind woman brought us ice water, welcomed us, and told us to relax and enjoy ourselves. There is no rush to eat quickly. Next arrived our friendly & awesome waiter! Once he learned that it was our first time there, he asked if we needed any help in decifering the menu and offered his assistance should we need it. We told him we were ready to order... Then the food arrived.... We ordered the chicken, celery, and carrot dumplings, wagyu potstickers, Peking duck, and traditional chicken fried rice to eat family style. Wagyu potstickers - they were good. You could definitely enjoy these with or without the sauce that they provided. Traditional chicken fried rice - the rice was too moist and lacked flavor. (My son thought it had too many peas. I thought it was a perfect amount. LOL) We will not order this dish next time. Peking Duck - my son and daughter devoured it saying that it was delicious!! (I do not personally eat duck so I'll take their word for it). Chicken, celery & carrot dumplings - these were our absolute favorite!! So much so that we ordered a second serving of them. We discussed the fact that we could not think of another restaurant with chicken dumplings that we liked more. Will we return to Teddy Wong's??? DEFINITELY!!!

It's a good thing Wu Wei Din is coming to Fort Worth soon as the new H-mart opens. This place is nice, upscale, great interior decor, but pricy for what it is; average americanized chinese food and an okay attempt at dumplings. Quantity of pieces of dumpling is lame, and parking also sucks, only fits like 8 cars. They do not list quantities here so you'll have to ask to make sure before you buy two dumplings for $12. Also if you order items from the main entrees it does not come with rice. Great atmosphere, nice place to go out and eat. The best item on the menu was the orange chicken w/orange peel, very freshly made and hot. Everything else was lukewarm, not a place I would come back again due to temperature of food and pricing for quantity of pieces (for scale most places serves 6-10 pcs of dumplings; this place only serves 4 for savory dumplings/ 2 for chocolate dumplings and it cost more or the same) Chicken & Chives pan seared dumplings (4) - 4/5 good, not pan seared/hot enough. Good portion; not bad for price, dipping sauce is great with the dumplings. Hot Oil Wontons (6) - 3/5 very small meat filling, skin is very thin. This is cantonese style wrapping, flavor is missing the chinese spice. Would be better if it had more filling, very thin and limpy. Salted Pepper Squid - 4/5 good but the seasoning doesn't stick to the squid, it's all at the bottom of the dish. Nice crunch and good bite size pieces. Probably 2nd best dish of the night. Lo Mein Chicken - 2/5 tastes like you can get this at the mall cafeteria, very bland in flavor. Have to add the chili oil to the dish. Mostly noodles, not that much chicken or vegetables. Ate the orange chicken with this, was very good substitution for rice. Orange Chicken - 5/5 great, saucy, good size chicken. Not overly breaded, fresh orange peel. Came out super hot, exactly what I like. I recommend this dish, would be better if it came with a bowl of rice with entree instead of paying $3. Big size pieces, I like this dish here because they do not add little crunchy non-chicken fillers like most places. Hot and Sour Soup - 2/5 bland, small, not a lot of toppings, missing flavor in this soup, it wasn't sour or salty enough, wasn't spicy.. like it's missing the chili oil and seasoning. Broth is super clear. Also came out last because they forgot about it. Chocolate Dumplings (2) - 3/5 skin is a bit too thick, way too much raspberry sauce for 2 pieces of dumplings, very wasteful. The chocolate was good, I like the strawberries that it came with. This would have been better if it had at least 4 pieces, 2 pieces for $12 is dumb, should have been $8 or under. I do not think 1 pc of this was worth $6. Overall 3/5 for Fort Worth, would be a 2/5 if this was up north; would have shut down a long time ago. They are expanding in Weatherford; I believe roanoke would also be a great location for this place. Overall it is what it is, very similar food concept to PF Changs and Pei Wei with the addition of dumplings and peking duck which makes it worth trying once. Good for non-asian people who want to try chinese food without having to drive to Dallas/Frisco/Plano.

Truly loved the chicken dishes, so flavorful, great texture, and decent portion. The gyoza left a little bit to be desired, really enjoyed the soup dumplings though. The chocolate dumpling desserts were also tasty. Really top-tier Asian food in Fort Worth. The atmosphere was amazing and really the place to be for lunch. Great service too! Perhaps on the mid to high end of reasonably priced, but overall worth it for sure!

Went to Teddy Wongs in Fort Worth and honestly... this place understood the assignment. The vibe is cozy but cool like you're casually sophisticated even if you showed up starving and slightly unhinged. Dumplings hit the table steaming, glossy, and dangerous in that "you're about to burn your mouth but you don't care" kind of way. The chicken curry dumplings deserve their own round of applause. One bite and it's immediate silence at the table you know, that respectful kind where everyone realizes something serious is happening. The flavors are bold without being heavy, comforting without being boring, and somehow perfect whether it's date night or "I just survived the week" dinner. And the wine, fantastic. It's the kind of pairing that makes you sit back and think, yeah... this was a good decision. By the end, you're full, happy, and already planning what you're ordering next time because there will be a next time.

Came here for my birthday lunch and it did not disappoint. I ordered my usual favorites--the hot oil pork wontons and the Texas Mongolian beef--which remain consistently good. We also tried several new dishes, including the BBQ pork bao bun, half a Peking duck, BBQ pork lo mein, Szechuan string beans, and chocolate dumplings for dessert. Everything was enjoyable, but the Peking duck truly stood out--exceptionally flavorful and well prepared. Service was impeccable; Alexandria was attentive and thoughtful, keeping our iced tea refilled without us ever having to ask. The restaurant itself is small but cozy, making it a great spot for a relaxed and satisfying meal.

Teddy Wong's has some pretty solid dumplings. My favorite were the pan fried pork and mushroom dumplings, and the soup dumplings were good as well! I'd skip on the eggrolls but would get the crab rangoons again! Parking is minimal and kind of stressful but the employees here are so nice! This restaurant is exactly what you'd expect a Chinese restaurant in Fort Worth to be. It was also pretty busy on a Tuesday night, so I'm guessing it's always busy! A saw a couple of customers nicely dressed but it's a pretty casual spot for dinner with a wine bar. Glad I finally checked this place out and didn't know it was so close to where I stayed!

Guys. For real...the best pork soup dumpling of my life! The broth was so flavorful! The chocolate dumpling with raspberry was Our waiter was great, attentive and fun! The space was fine...we were way close to another table butttt they were busy so I get it.

So after careful consideration we chose Teddy Wong's for my birthday dinner after hearing good things from a few friends and let me tell you it did not disappoint! First of all the wine list is awesome and the menu offers several varieties of dumplings and classic Chinese dishes all made fresh to order which is obvious when the dishes come out, the service was great also. Fancy tables black tablecloth large wine glasses and a mix of modern and classic Chinese decor, featuring a full bar at the back of the restaurant. We ordered four appetizers including crispy shrimp balls, scallion pancakes, hot oil pork wontons, the shrimp shumai which were all excellent and fresh especially the hot oil pork wontons we were disappointed to be told that the waygu potstickers were out of stock which is pretty much the only reason this is not a 5 star. For our entrees we both ordered the Kung Pao chicken with steamed rice and it was fresh and excellent full of bell peppers red onions which was a surprise to me as I'm used to seeing white onions in kung pao chicken but I do prefer the red onions now and of course the classic peanuts, I also tried two glasses of wine a Cabernet Franc and a Malbec which were both very good. If you have not tried Teddy Wongs Yet Don't walk run because you're missing out!

This place is legit. We base our return flight schedule around dining here. Service is on point. All of the staff love the food and it shows by their recommendations. Parking can be a bit difficult but worth a short walk to experience the food! The Peking duck is delicious, will order it again next visit. Can't go wrong with any of their dishes, we have yet to try something we would not order again.

Teddy's is such an enjoyable intimate, little venue. So welcoming and comfortable. Our server today, Megan was super pleasant and perfectly attentive. We went today with the spicy wok fired Haw Gow. We really enjoyed this dumpling that is seared some in the wok. This was followed by the Texas beef and broccoli stir fry and a side of white rice. The broccoli was perfectly rendered and the beef tender and flavorful. Between the two of us we finished half of the dish and have enough left for us for supper tonight. Old timers, you know. One odd thing. Never in 76 years has a restaurant that serves wine by the glass ever refused a sample taste of a wine that one is unacquainted with, until today. I should think Teddy's should rethink this policy. I would suggest you study and research the wine list before going but unfortunately it is not published on the website.

I'm a fan!! We made reservations (and I'm glad we did) for a Saturday evening and they were jam packed! After a short wait, we were seated. We were fortunate to have a kind and knowledgeable waiter who gave us spot on suggestions for wines. Food: We ordered the pork soup dumplings and they were fantastic! We ended up ordering a second portion because we couldn't get enough. The chili oil wontons were also a hit, but the wontons themselves were a bit small. I do wish that their chili oil were also a tad spicier. The Peking duck ended up being one of our favorites of the night. They gave us a side of hoisin sauce, cucumbers, scallions, and thin wraps to build our own rolls. The duck itself was cooked very well, not dry, and a modest portion for it being the Half. Mapo tofu portions were huge! We also ordered it with a side of fried rice which was only okay. We ended up taking the tofu home as we were pretty stuffed. All in all, we were happy with our dining experience at Teddy Wong's. We will be back!

This was my first time having dumplings. I was visiting from Houston for a conference. My party made a reservation and unfortunately the table was not ready for 30 mins. Well, they made up for that. The staff was extremely nice. The restaurant was nice and clean. Food amazing. Everything we ordered (see pics) was delicious. I highly recommend the Wok Fired Har Gow. You will not be disappointed. Oh, and shout out to Mikahlie. She was a fantastic server. She helped me pick the right wine and entree that would pair together.

Lobster Dumplings They were okay. I would just get more hot oil wontons next time.

Do I have to have reservations? Small party in town wants to eat there?

Yes, reservations are a must. You can go to their website or directly to Resy.com to make reservations. Or you can try to go to the bar. That doesn't require reservations and you can order food at the bar, but there are only a few seats available.

    Are there vegan options?

I would call to confirm what everything is cooked on/with. But their online menu shows veggie dumplings & tofu fried rice and wok options.

The burger offered was the "Our Taphouse" - a dry ranch seasoned beef patty with shredded cheese and topped with carmelized onions, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and bacon jam. The burger was definitely good. It's messy since there are some more toppings prone to falling out. I will say that in terms of taste, it was a bit too sweet for my preference. I think it was the combination of carmelized onions and bacon jam that made it too much for me that it overwhelmed the savoriness that I'd prefer to be the main flavor with the burger. This time I didn't dine in personally but I will say that the place looks like it has a nice vibe to it, especially outside. It looks like there's plenty of seating with an area for musicians to perform. I'm looking forward to coming back one day and maybe watching a game and getting a drink.

This is not my usual style of restaurant, but some people might find it appealing it. The service was good! Our waitress was nice and got us our food quickly. The restaurant was actually pretty empty for being a Tuesday afternoon. The part that brought my rating down so much was due to the food being very average. My burger did not really taste beefy or char-grilled. Rather, it tasted similar to a frozen patty made at home which I would have enjoyed equally if not maybe more. The fries were not enjoyable to me at all. Fries are my number one comfort food and it hurt me to have to leave most of them on the plate to be trashed, but I just couldn't get them down. I'm not sure if the made the BBQ sauce in house or not, but it was overly smokey and I couldn't eat that either. Normally this wouldn't bother me so much, but my bill came to over $20 for just a burger and fries. It was very overpriced for something that was half not enjoyable and half average. I would not come back.
