WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE. VERY unprofessional and rude! Tommy is extremely unhelpful and refuses to provide transparent, HONEST body work. Every time I have called for the past MONTH for updates on my car, they LIED directly to my face about parts being ordered, starting work on my car, or anything else to do with providing me service. It's now been a month and a half and they haven't ordered most of my parts and will not release my car back into my possession without paying a ridiculous amount of money. I'm genuinely surprised they have so many highly-regarded reviews on this site due to their ridiculously childish "professionalism." I doubt that I'm the only customer they have treated like this. The only way people come here is because a rural sheriff told me that towing my car after an accident would be free of charge and that they're "the best around" because they're the "oldest body shop in Cumming." I wouldn't be surprised if the owner and the town sheriff know each other because that was a flat out lie. Everything about them is sketchy. STEER CLEAR and just shell out the cash for someone to tow your car to another more professional and honest body shop. read more

I used Hambys Body Shop duri g the Covid pandemic. It was a difficult time to get parts since so many parts stores were closed and not delivering like normal. Hambys went above and beyond to make sure my 370Z was repaired perfectly. They wheeled and dealed to get my parts from all over for me instead of telling me I would just have to wait a month like another body shop did. The owner personally gave me a "tour" of the forensics behind my extensive repair. I felt like family by the time it was all over. I HIGHLY recommend Hambys. read more

This is long, but if you contemplate on spending big bucks on you car here. It will be worthwhile to read my experience. I had the unfortunate luck of dealing with this company because of a rural sheriff who decided to call them to tow my car after an accident. I am sure this is the only way anyone would ever come to them. While my car was there, they took my car apart without me signing any papers ( I am filing this to the DMV for the violation of the Repair Shop Act). This is called putting someones car in hostage to get business. They lied and told me that their lift did not work for 2 days and I would have to pay the $45 per day storage fees (even though it was their fault). At first the estimate was 1300 but it went up to 2000 when I took my car back. I took it to a legitimate repair shop, Gerbers(very reputable, recommended by all insurance company) and another shop as well. BOTH 2 Shops said that it would be atleast 6k to get the car on the road SAFELY. It is obvious they do not care if the car lasts after their repair nor the safety of their customer. The guy promised not to charge storage while my car was waiting for an estimate which took 2 weeks. In the end, it was only word of mouth and I was charged 1000 just to get my car back. Tommy was who said this, but after knowing I wanted my car back he refuse to answer the phone and have another guy said they cant prove he promised to excuse the 2 weeks of storage. They said " too bad, cause if I didnt want to pay I should have let them fix it". Very unprofessional and rude. PLEASE RUN AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE, these people try to take advantage of anyone that crosses their path. Their website says "Oldest body shop in Cumming" and theres not even one review of their work online. There's no testimonies on their site either. I am obligated to share my experience. I wish someone would have told me something. God, as soon as my car was in their hand, they took a 180 and bullied me on the phone. With their aggressive screaming, it makes me afraid they'd track me down and beat me up for this review. Despite my safety, it would be a crime if I dont be honest and expose these thieves ( too generous of a label). I hope to save anyone from the trouble I went through. read more
