We were over 2,000 miles away from home when the check engine light came on in my diesel truck. As anyone who owns a diesel knows, that's not something you want to see when you're far from home and facing a long drive back. I was stressed and worried about whether we would make it home safely. The team at CBA got us in quickly, took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue, and patiently explained everything they found. More importantly, they gave me peace of mind by assuring me that my truck was in good shape to make the trip home. That reassurance meant more than they probably realize. What truly stood out was how they treated us as people, not just customers. They provided a shuttle ride for us to a local restaurant while they inspected the truck and then picked us up afterward. When it was all said and done, they didn't charge me a single dime for their time, diagnosis, or assistance. In today's world, it's easy to become cynical, but experiences like this remind me that there are still honest, hardworking, God-fearing people who genuinely care about doing the right thing. The integrity, generosity, and kindness shown by the entire team left a lasting impression on us. Thank you, CBA Fort Collins, for taking care of us when we were far from home and for turning a stressful situation into a blessing. We will never forget it, and I highly recommend your shop to anyone looking for honest mechanics and exceptional service.

I will no longer be using CBA for any further work all because of David at the Foco location. For…read moresome back story, I replaced my brakes at this location in March 2025 because my sister and I have been going to CBA for years. I had a great experience. Since then I have moved to Johnstown so four months ago when I needed an oil change I thought I would go to the Berthoud location because I thought they would be just as great as this location. Wrong. They were horribly rude to me and I questioned if I would ever come back to a CBA at all but I remembered the FoCo location was always so kind to me. Wednesday 7/29/26 I called and scheduled an appointment for a COURTESY INSPECTION because my brakes have been grinding after only a year. I had the unfortunate pleasure to get paired up with David. I told him about my Berthoud experience and he seemed really bothered. He told me that was his very close friend and he personally trained him and proceeded to ask a ton of questions before taking my car back for the inspection. I also added an oil change. 30 minutes later David comes back with the inspection paperwork in hand and tells me he can't figure out what's wrong with the brakes but they are metal on metal and I just need to replace them. I ask him if he knew what caused them to grind down so aggressively after only a year? I only city drive between FoCo and Loveland and I have been to Denver twice since replacing my brakes. He told me they don't know and couldn't figure it out either, but the inspection was done and the only thing he could do was give me a small coupon for replacement. I told him I didn't feel comfortable having him replace my brakes a second time if he couldn't tell me what the issue with them was. He said they couldn't figure it out during the inspection and asked if when I go to another shop if I could call him back to let him know what the issue is. Excuse me????? Absolutely not. I left and decided to go to another shop. I grabbed the paperwork David had given me to show them the inspection report and photos and guess what? IT SAYS CUSTOMER DECLINED COUTESY INSPECTION. How did I decline a service I scheduled an appointment for? I was so angry I had to wait several days to post this review to remain more professional. This was a horrible experience and David is 100% the reason I will never come back.

Sorry but to be fair I can't give a great review…read more Guys in the front are very good at giving good customer care (friendly, explain issues and cooperative with schedules). But ... - after diagnostics I needed a Catalytic converter. Replacement for a 2015 GM subcompact cost $2,000 - Cost aside, I had to bring the vehicle back 3 times in the following 20 days because emission related errors kept popping up - most frustration was that one error was related to a new beak/gap in my exhaust piping (not there or seen during repair) I don't know how good they are with other repairs but I would look elsewhere for emission related issue.

So, due to having the 3yr or 36,000mile warranty I took my Truck in to be checked for these issues as I thought it was the AC Compressor being faulty. After setting an appointment with Chris @ this Location today they were specifically told by me Verbally to NOT due any other work on the AC if the Compressor is found not to be the issue under warranty only, they choose to NOT listen to me as the Customer and they performed additional work on my AC unit with the prior Authorization from my person ahead of time. The unexpected cost ended up costing $159.12 which I was not expecting to pay. The tech said that there was Debris in my AC Motor and took off the Panel accesses my AC unit and cleaned the Motor of said debris. This shop has done this to others of my family I my before and this was the last time I am going to their shop for anything regarding my Vehicles going forward. What a Shame of unprofessionalism and what I call a catch 22!

Several other places gave me the same story....no openings until at least the 2nd week of January. I remembered seeing a new Christian Brothers in Commerce City and decided to give them a call. Clean facility. I will definitely use them again for repairs.

Simply incompetent mechanics and manager. I am writing to…read moreformally complain about the air conditioning service performed on my Range Rover at your shop. I brought my vehicle to Christian Brothers because the air conditioning was not blowing cool air. I paid more than $430 for the inspection and service, but after the work was completed, the vehicle still was not blowing cool air. In other words, I paid a substantial amount for a service that did not identify or resolve the problem. Because the problem remained unresolved, I had to take my vehicle to another mechanic for further diagnosis. That mechanic identified the cabin air filter as the problem and replaced it for $89.06. After the cabin air filter was replaced, the air conditioning problem was fixed and the vehicle began blowing cool air normally. I subsequently brought the old cabin air filter back to your shop and discussed the matter with the manager. I was told, "We don't inspect the cabin air filter when we service the air conditioning system." This response is particularly concerning because checking the cabin air filter is an important and basic diagnostic consideration when investigating an air-conditioning or airflow complaint. Had the filter been inspected as part of the original service, the problem could have been identified and corrected without my having to spend more than $430 at the shop and then an additional $89 elsewhere. I believe the service I received was inadequate and that I was charged for work that failed to properly diagnose the actual cause of the problem. I am therefore requesting that Christian Brothers review this matter and provide an appropriate resolution.
