I want to start off by saying the manager Joaquin is truly amazing. I had to bring my vehicle to a repair facility to have the brakes inspected to have the findings sent to my warranty company. When I called Joaquin was very eager to help and have the vehicle checked out. Upon bring my vehicle there he let me know that due to how the cars panels hung down they were not able to lift it and did not want to take a risk on breaking anything. He offered to use a floor jack to at least be able to check the front brakes. Him and his staff were very friendly and eager to help out. I drive an electric vehicle so there is not really much to service but anyone who does drive a gas/hybrid vehicle should definitely see Joaquin and his team. They washed half my windshield and I watched them the entire time they never once aired my tires but when I asked I was lied to and told they were aired up. They failed to reset my oil light on my car I had to do that too. Just praying that they actually changed the oil correctly. Really shotty work. Very disappointed. I am more than capable of doing it myself but I was so tired I thought I'd pay for the help and I don't feel as helped as I would have liked I could of done it myself much cheaper. But I decided to go to the shop I can usually trust. But the evening I went I made a very heavy mistake. read more

I went in and got my oil change, when I was all done and on my way home I went through a small dip and heard something scrape against the pavement, turns out they didn't put any of the screws back in to hold the guard plate up. I went back just to have their manager try and tell me that it was the place that I got my oil changed before this that forgot to put the bolts in,m. I think that's absolutely hilarious because explain to me why my car was perfectly fine the entire time before I visit this grease monkey location and then all of a sudden within 1 mile of leaving this place I hear all sorts of terrible noises. The manager could not accept his mistake. The guy is a liar and a sore loser. Also as my car was being given back to me to leave, nobody opened my hood and confirmed to me that all my caps were on tight and I wasn't shown the new oil level. very unprofessional And I will never go here again.Worst oil change experience I've ever had. read more

This particular location has been stellar for me for over a year now. Super friendly, honest, and reliable.

Had full service change with exterior window cleaning (not done, or done very poorly) and interior vacuuming ( not done at all) but both listed on the coupon. Left happy, even though none of the staff could manage to figure out how to reset oil light. Stopped later to get some food. Looked around and noticed windows and vacuuming were obviously not done. Called back to a very terse manager and asked about the windows and vacuuming. He stated immediately that they hadn't done interiors since covid. Asked me what I wanted him to do about it. I told him I wanted the service we paid for and that the exterior windows were not done. We argued for a little and he said to just bring it back to the shop. No way I was going to return my car with an aggresive attitude like that. I lost my temper with a few choice words and he stated " you know I know where you live" Wow! Can't belive I heard that from a customer relation representative. Anyway... Grease Monkey on 8th in greeley/garden city is an empty place where you can go to see a bunch of guys standing around waiting for the few undeserved customers to come in and have their oil changed ( I hope It was changed?)...not to do what was paid for and be delightfully threatened when a complaint is made. Wow. It is been a very long time since I experienced customer service this great. Was escorted by one of the employees across the parking lot due to thick ice. They were thorough and courteous in their explanation of what my car needed. As a female with admittedly limited knowledge about vehicles, I am often leery about suggested or needed services. However, I felt very comfortable asking questions here. They even went through everything that was done on my vehicle following the service completion showing me on the vehicle everything that had been completed and re-secured. read more

4y years ago i would have given this place 5 stars but recently the quality of service has been horrible! The last 3 time I have taken my vehicle there was one thing after another, total red flags. First the check my air filter during an oil change but don't put the lid back on and fully secured. 2nd time they almost put conventional oil when I specifically asked for full synthetic! Both of those were minor "near misses" if I hadn't verified before work was performed. BUT IN RECENT EVENTS! A few weeks ago I went to do and oil change again ,shame on me! And noticed quite a constant drip of oil that left a huge stain in my garage by the way! I called them when I noticed it because my vehicle would never spill a drop until coincidently after they did the oil change. I let them know of the occurrence and asked if they could check it out because I feel they might not have put the oil nut/cap or filter correctly. They said "yeah bring it in we'll check out" so I did I waited a good 30minutes so they can drive my vehicle in for no more than 30sec!!!! And to tell me it's not their problem that I had a bad seal around the oil pan!! Long story short, I went out of my way and to it to a reputable mechanic just so he can tell me the oil IS IN FACT DRIPPING FROM THE OIL NUT!! For sure the quality is no longer there at that place I also notice there are different people working there all the time now. Either they are incompetent or just Lazy and try to take short cuts to get through the day quicker . I don't know but I'm sad knowing that what once was a place I can trust I won't be going tthere ever again. read more

Well I couldn't make the appointment and had to reschedule and pleaded how I needed it done soon because I have been driving a bit the way it was and was still going to be busy. Grease Monkey failed to ratchet the plug after changing our oil on our Xterra. It fell out, ran without oil, caused major engine damage and the cost to fix it ranges between $6k-8k, depending on how we went about it. They accepted liability, totalled out our vehicle and offered us $1,200 for it because of its "current condition" (not running) - which is because of grease monkey's mistake. It took a month for them to even file an insurance claim for it and now we're getting the run around and insulting offers. They refuse to pay replacement cost, even though it's their fault we have to replace our vehicle! I've spoke with Ron morrow, the VP of Operations, risk management, and Zurich insurance. Nothing has been done. We haven't even received a rental for being without a vehicle for a month and a half now. Why don't we get the amount to replace the vehicle they RUINED with the same year, model, and mileage as others? Crooks. read more

Went there to get my oil changed, they broke the plastic ring off of my dip stick. They wouldn't admit that they broke it either. I had checked my oil the day before, and it wasn't broken. But they wanted to charge me $75.00 to remove it and $16.99 for new dip stick. Then they told me that they couldn't find a dip stick. I drive a Dodge and they are right across the street from the Dodge dealer. I won't ever be going there again. read more
