I would describe my experience as deceptive, misleading, and completely unprofessional. I would advise anyone who is looking for a trustworthy vet, to not see the veterinarian Ola Ebeid at Atlas Pet Hospital in Corona After today, I would never trust this veterinarian with my pet again. I am writing this review while sitting in a 24-hour emergency hospital, waiting for my cat to be seen. 3:30 PM: I called after my cat developed symptoms of possible poisoning. The veterinarian was on lunch, so staff placed me on hold to get her approval for the emergency. She approved it and gave the ok she would see us when she came back at 4:00 PM. 4:00 PM: The veterinarian told me my cat needed bloodwork, 24-48 hours of IV fluids to protect his kidneys, monitoring, and contact with poison control which they would complete. At no point did she disclose that her clinic closes and does not have overnight oversight to monitor emergency situations. At no point in the discussion did she tell me that she would be incapable of providing the very care she was recommending. My issue is the missed window of opportunity to recommend me take him straight to a 24 hour hospital that would be able to provide the continuity of care he would need. I relied on that conversation, recommendation, admitted my cat, and paid over $1,000 thinking they would have the capacity to care for my pet accordingly. One hour before closing, I received a call telling me to come pick him up. I was confused on the situation but staff told me I would be given details including recommendation for a hospital. When I arrived the veterinarian, Ola Ebeid, told me Poison Control actually recommended 12 hours of monitoring and that I should transfer him to a 24-hour hospital because they could not provide that level of care. That conversation should have happened before my cat was admitted, not after treatment had already begun. Had I been told at 4:00 PM that they could not provide the recommended monitoring, I would have gone directly to a 24-hour emergency hospital instead of having my cat's care interrupted hours later. Additionally, based on medical records I was given, my cat wasn't administered any IV fluids until 5:20. This would make it an hour and 20 minutes after I dropped him off for emergency care. When I pointed out that this critical information should have been disclosed from the beginning, I was repeatedly talked over and asked, "What do you want?" She was rude, dismissive, refused to recognize her mishandling of communications. I told her I didn't want anything except my pet, my invoice, and an explanation of his care. I was told to wait outside and threatened with having the police called. I told her to go ahead. I had already paid for the services and expected to receive the care, documentation, and explanation I had paid for. Only then did her entire demeanor change. If you know you can't provide the level of care you're recommending, that should be disclosed rather than accepting a patient and telling them to go somewhere else an hour prior to closing. I am now waiting in an emergency room with my cat, for over 40 minutes now, when he could've been in continuous care from 4 PM if I was given proper advice. read more

I started coming here since 2020 with my pup and have always had mixed feelings about the level of service and care here. I've stayed with them 5 years because I can get my pet's records online which is incredibly convenient and the staff (not the doctor) have been so awesome! Every visit I get the vet -- I can't figure out why she went into this field. It's like she doesn't even like animals but when I think I am done with them I get to see someone who actually seems to care about pets or I get the sweetest most caring vet tech and I just stay because of them. I can't even begin to describe the staff as they make you and your pet feel really cared for versus the veterinarian making you feel like an inconvenience. When we saw our cat's quality of life turn for the worse after other vet visits (losing control of her faculties in her bed, not eating or drinking), I decided to take her Atlas because I already an account there and figured we could trust them with our final decision. I couldn't understand why the vet was so unhappy with life that day. She flicked and poked at my sweet cat and wanted to stabilize her when I already went through tests and scans (and brought the paperwork). To top that off, I asked for a paw print before she was cremated but they mistakenly cremated her before doing that. I couldn't waste my energy even getting angry because we can't bring her back, but unfortunately, my daughter was waiting for this keepsake (my daughter has been wearing the cat collar as a bracelet ever since we had to euthanize) so another sort of grieving in the house for us. The staff apologized and gave us a refund. 5 years I've stayed with Atlas because of these mixed feelings with the vet versus the staff. I am sorry to let go of the staff who have always been so kind, courteous, and empathetic. My whole family and I are super glad we won't have to see this veterinarian again. I hope we can find another facility to take my two dogs. read more

Instead of listening to valid concerns, the veterinarian continued to speak louder, interrupt, became defensive, and seemed more focused on proving she was right than understanding why her communication was a problem. Hurts to write this one. Unfortunately I had to make the gut wrenching decision to see my boxer, Lulu, over the rainbow bridge. I began to believe her myriad of health issues were impeding on her quality of life and I couldn't be selfish anymore. Located off Hamner, Atlas is currently under construction so the parking lot is extra small and you're checking in at a portable. They warned me when I made my appointment so I knew what I was in for. The staff from reception to the vet techs to the doctor were extremely sympathetic from the jump. It didn't help that I was ugly crying the whole time. The doctor walked me through the procedure and before I knew it my baby was asleep. A few weeks I received a very nice sympathy card from the staff. Not gonna lie it somewhat peeled the scab back but I appreciated the gesture very much. Heck, just writing this review is peeling the scab so maybe one day I'll be over it. Anyway, my highest compliments to the staff at Atlas. They were phenomenal and my main reason for writing this review. Once construction is done I'm sure the facilities will mirror how good they were. Highly recommended! read more

My pup was attacked by a stray dog and was limping. I had googled for after-hours emergency care and found Atlas Pet Hospital. I didn't call prior to coming (in shock still from the attack) and luckily, they were able to evaluate my Patches. Entire staff were attentive, empathetic and very helpful. Charges were explained in detail and I'd say for an emergency visit affordable. This is our first visit to Atlas. I would come for future annual exams and visits. Not even 2 days later he dies, he was completely healthy beforehand and i kept a close eye on him before he passed to make sure he wasnt messing with himself. When i called them to ask what may have happened they hung up and called me off of no collar id and told me that he most likely had a heart problem?!!! I don't know what they did to my dog, but I know they were rough with him, and unfortunately he cannot speak to tell us what they did to him, but we will never be back.
