I was desperate to find care for my Yorkie same day, due to her feeling nauseous and vomiting, loss of appetite, lack of energy, I did not want to go to the pet Hospital because of long waits and also because my Yorkie is Nursing her 5 weeks puppies. This vet is a literal puppy saver! The costs are reasonable and the staff is so friendly! I took my maltipoo mix puppy because he was sick and they fixed him right up and saved his little life. He hasn't eaten in three days or drank water and he was hacking and coughing and wheezing and after a day with them he's almost 100% recovered! I definitely recommend this place! read more

Might be good with cats and dogs but had no idea what he was doing with my hamster. Took her in because she was looking a bit down and was breathing heavily. She was looking better than the day before but I thought I'd take her in just in case. The "doctor" made me grab my own hamster while he poked the heck out of it. The hamster was clearly agitated and in pain but he had no regard for its feelings. Brought her home and she looked even worse. Unfortunately she died hours later. I can't help but wonder if she would've lived a little longer or at least more comfortable if I hadn't taken her in. On top of that I paid 50$ for nothing more than emotional damage for my little sister and I. Do not recommend. read more

I'm sad because I liked Dr. Lee, but they are really bad at management of the office. I imagine it's because there's just one doctor and one woman running the desk and acting as vet assistant. They are very archaic in their process and don't use computers to keep records or anything. I could overlook that if the following problems weren't there: 1. The practice is filthy. There was old puddles of urine in the waiting room and the floors and corners are full of very old dirt and grime. The examination room had something brown splattered across the wall. 2. They NEVER answer their phone. Ever. I had to just walk in after 2 weeks of calling and calling to try and get an appointment. According to my call history on my phone I tried calling 24 times over 2 weeks and not once did they answer during business hours. This is a problem below too: 3. They gave my pet a prescription which is very expensive. It's nearly $80 a month but it is the only think that helps our pet so we went to Chewy and ordered a renewal - they have tried to get our vet to confirm the prescription over and over and they never answer the phone so we can't get it anywhere else. 4. We ordered blood tests for $400 for our pet. He told us it would be back in 2 weeks and they would call us withi the results. They never did. And guess what? They don't answer the phone. They don't have a website and don't have an email address... or any other way of contacting them. I kind of think they are doing this intentionally. read more

The best treatment my cat and I have ever received from a veterinarian. I called on a whim, hoping that someone may be able to see my pet and the front desk receptionist answered. She was kind when she picked up the phone and told me that they were booked. However, she followed up with, "What is wrong with your pet?". I explained. She placed me on hold, and the veterinarian, Dr. Lee, spoke to me. He made no promises and said he would get back to me. I proceeded as though I was not going to get an appointment anywhere, and sure enough, he actually called me back! When I arrived, he welcomed me, gathered all the information, and saw my cat. He was gentle, thorough, and honest. He didn't hide anything, and he went over all options while actually listening to me. In the end, he showed so much care and concern. Thank you to the front desk receptionist for taking just a moment of your time to listen to me and thank you, Dr. Lee, for the care you have towards animals. Highly recommend this place. read more

I've taken my cat here to get his vaccinations and it was extremely expensive, but when he had clogged glands I scheduled just a gland expression but was charged for that and a visit fee ($66) when they didn't even express them, I had to ask them multiple times to actually try to do it. And Dr. Lee would also not explain to me why my cat would have black dots on his glands and just told me to "keep an eye on it". Very frustrating experience and will not be returning here read more

Dr Lee and his staff have fit me in twice when my regular vet isn't open on Saturdays. He's always very kind and knowledgeable with my dogs. If we hadn't been seeing our current vet for years I would switch to Dr Lee! Costs are very reasonable and far less than an emergency vet visit would be. read more

First puppy shots I spent 280 dollars on shots came back two weeks later they tell me I will need to do that 3 more times I was shocked paid for the deworming only and left to my original clinic paid 40 for my second boosters and will need one more for 40 and that's it waste of money here and all they wanna do is press you on the stuff I had to tell the doctor multiple times I didn't want certain things because they're are a waste why would my puppy need blood work u guys make it sound like we need it but it's not necessary read more

NO! Go somewhere else if you love your pets and want peace of mind. I brought my girl here for her annual shots. She is 7 and in great health!! First, they had me put a muzzle on her because they said it was part of their policy. Then they wanted her on the table. She is almost a 50lb dog. She started to panic a little because she gets shots every year and this has never been her experience!! The initial examination they told me would cost only $38 but they charged me a whopping $158 for the shots!! I paid almost $200!! My dog has been walking with a limp for 2 days and very sore. I have never had this experience and would NOT recommend this clinic to anyone!!! It's worth the drive to go elsewhere. read more

VERY GREEDY VET! Never coming back! My dog had a little allergy and we took her to get her usual Benedryl shot and a steroid shot. We were then upsold to buy way more steroids then we need. Furthermore we asked to get her vaccines done and between vaccines and an allergy he charged us $319! We told him we needed a RX for her prosac which she has taken for 4 years and he said ok just put it in online and have them call me. Worst experience ever! I can't believe a vet of his supposed experience can't diagnose a suffering elderly dog properly. We had to drive to his previous vet to get a proper diagnosis and find out our dog had terminal cancer as needed to be put down. Keep In mind this is a few days after being told he has a urinary traction infection and needs teeth removed. For a professional to not be able to find this is unacceptable. Rather than saying we need to rule out cancer. The vets mind was let's see how much money I can get out of these owners for non life threatening procedures. This place should be ashamed and retire there vet. I would never bring another pet even for just a shot I would rather drive literally anywhere else to avoid this place. Too bad that a zero is not one of the options. I have never before written a yelp review, not because I have never received terrible service, but because I have never felt a sincere need to warn others like I do in this case. It has taken me quite some time to write this review due to losing my beloved pet in March. I took my dog into the La Sierra Vet Clinic right away because she had suddenly stopped eating, which was completely out of character for her. I had been taking her here for about a year or so for shots, and one or two less major issues. This time she was diagnosed with pancreatitis, given a treatment, and given some medications. After the diagnosis, I was told to wait in the front and they took her into their treatment area. They said that they needed to give her some sort of treatment, which I later found was called the "balloon." My dog weighed about 60 pounds and would struggle if held down. Given there line of work, I know that they are supposed to be well trained in how to handle animals. Although not eating like normal, my dog was still actively moving about in the yard until she just suddenly stopped moving at all. This all seemed very suspicious to me and I sincerely believed that my dog was injured during their procedure. I was called the next evening and told that her liver levels didn't look good and that I should bring her out to see the Caliornia Veterinary Specialists. I was told of two different locations, one in Ontario and the other in Murrietta. The La Sierra vet specified that she liked the Murrietta location better. I later felt that I might have been directed there for certain reasons. I don't blame them for any misdiagnosis because animals can't talk to tell what hurts. My issue with them is that I believe my dog was seriously injured by them. Given what I was told were her other medical issues, maybe she wouldn't have made it after all. I guess I'll never know. read more
