Do not trust them with your pet. They rescheduled same day on us twice for our dog to get spayed, and have no customer service they make excuses after excuses and don't ever take fault for their unorganized business practices. I requested a refund for the mandatory visit they require before getting spayed. They said too bad and have no remorse for their scheduling issues.. they say we are not eligible for a refund.. it's going to be a lot cheaper for them than the lawsuit they will be getting. We took our dog to a different place that had great customer service, was the same price, and scheduled the surgery the same week as the exam which we didn't have to pay for. read more

It was the worst experience. We rescued a kitten from the streets 2 years ago. She suffered greatly from an anxiety disorder. We tried everything from the plug in pharomes to watching videos of cat behaviorist. We did everything that everyone suggested. She was found without her mom and siblings. She was terrified and had no idea she was a cat. We saw a vet that stated she just might have issues with her brain and gave us medication on a low dose to slowly work up as needed. When I saw Lily Nguyen, DVM, she refused to give her anything and told me we didn't do everything. She wanted me to read articles from a university, see a vet behaviorist, and do labs. Are you kidding? You have no knowledge about cats and think it's ok to have me spend several hundred dollars, but still give me nothing in the end. One week ago today I called the clinic in tears. My beloved Sinamin had passed during the night and I was desperately looking for cremation services. I remembered a very good experience I had with this clininc in an emergency situation 10 years ago and decided to call them. Tori answered the phone. As soon as she answered the phone, I started crying again explaining what happened. She was very sympathetic and patient. When we got to the clinic, she remembered that I had called earlier and expressed her sympathies. She gave us all the time we needed to say our final goodbyes. We picked Sinamin up this afternoon. The way we received her ashes was such a great presentation. She was given to us in a bag with paw prints on it and in the bag was a condolence card, a clay mold of her paw with a stand in its own bag tied in a bow, a certificate from the crematorium, a beautiful wooden box with lock and keys, and her name on a nameplate. Tori is the sweetest person I have ever dealt with in a vet's office. She was helpful, sympathetic, and so patient. You could tell she meant it when she said she was sorry for our loss. Our dog was making a choking sound and we were trying to get to find a vet to see him. This vet was able to fit him in quickly. The ladies that work there are really nice. The vet tech was kind and really good with our dog. The vet was very helpful. She said our dog ate too fast and got a small piece of food caught in his throat. She offered to do an X-ray or prescribe a medication to coat his throat. We felt confident this was an event that would not happen regularly. I just do a review on something that is either really deserving or the opposite. My dog Leo has a really high anxiety with vet visits and what's frustrating was how hard it was to get his weight. Tried everything.. every trick just to get him on that scale. ... until today's appointment when we met BRANDON. He has this friendly/professional/... doesn't panic.. so calm.. so patient.. just really so good with Leo. It took him a minute to get Leo's weight with his trick/method. He's given me and my teenage kids lots of information and we learned so much from him. Though it's busy, he didn't act like he's in a hurry to kick us out of that room. Absolutely amazing vet clinic!! Our guinea pig cinnamon hurt her eye and they were able to see her right away. Thank you to Jessica at the front desk for her kindness and help during this difficult time for us. And to the vet DVM Munson Chon for the amazing help and care that is showed towards our guinea pig cinnamon. Their entire staff is very helpful! As far as pricing goes compared to other places it's very affordable and they do take care credit. I called and spoke with Jessica. She explained the pricing for the exam. Afterwards the vet checked her and let me know the diagnosis. And another staff member came in (super nice, but I forgot her name) and did a break down of what the vet suggested and what the total cost would be. This kitten was all alone so yup she going to be light. That's fair but I spent $25 and purchased some medicine from the store just in case then found a much more cheaper option. So then they hand me a paper that it could be over $1k ! As they may truly care for your animal properly, they make you pay a very hefty price. So if you have a pet with papers then maybe. But if you have a stray your trying to help why spend a house payment on an animal that may run away. I don't have that much cash I can just burn. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! We selected this vet when we got our new puppy. Over a few months we ran into numerous issues and regrettably kept returning. Mostly for the sake of finishing out her vaccinations/illness cases with the same vet who was familiar and "knew the whole story" but this turned out to be a BIG mistake. First off, for EVERY appointment, which was pre-scheduled, I still had to wait at least 30-45 minutes to be seen, the office overall felt dirty, and getting prescriptions approved by them through Chewy took forever. First Issue: At my puppy's last round of Parvo + Rabies vaccine, the woman at the front desk passed on info from the vet that she needed to come back for another round. When I questioned this, she immediately got snappy and elevated her voice in front of the whole waiting room. I calmly asked her to double check my puppy's records with the vet and her response was "You don't have to bring her in if you don't believe us" and dismissed me. I left flustered and decided to call back once I got home after double checking my appointment receipts. She answered and said they looked again after I left and found out they wrote down my dog's birthdate wrong in her chart. Although she didn't call me when she realized this, she apologized and let me know they thought my puppy was too young for the rabies vaccine so she still needed to return for this. This was concerning but she apologized so I was willing to look past this. Second BIG Issue: At a few months old, my puppy started having back to back UTIs. After the second one I had concerns for an underlying issue (for multiple reasons) and relayed this info EVERY time, but I felt Dr. Munson wasn't actually reading the "triage" notes where I stated this and was brushing me off that she was just an un-house-trained puppy. She kept writing it off with several rounds of antibiotics. After the FOURTH round I, AGAIN, stated my concerns of an underlying issue and FINALLY Dr. Munson listened. But instead of talking it through, she immediately jumped to a far fetched conclusion and it felt like she had made her decision on my puppy's diagnosis. She ordered X-rays, to which she got nothing from, then said we needed to go to a specialist for a true diagnoses and needed to get her on meds ASAP so the infection doesn't spread to her kidneys. However, she wouldn't prescribe any herself since she already put her through too many rounds and is worried she is now resistant. Talk about immediate PANIC and concern for my puppy. She said the most she would give is probiotics then JOKED about us having to take out a second mortgage to get our dog treated but she would help us find a specialist. The next day I still hadn't heard anything from Dr. Munson so I started calling around myself f any specialty pet hospitals could diagnose and treat the issue Dr. Munson was sure my puppy had. The first one I called said they could and asked for my vet's info to request records. The called back a few hours later, said after looking at her records they couldn't treat her and didn't want to waste my time or money. Within minutes, Dr. Munson called me SCOLDING me that I cancelled the appointment with the specialist (they must have called her office too) and my puppy needed to be seen ASAP cause she's probably in pain and Dr. Munson "couldn't" do anything about it. I let her know THEY cancelled on ME and when I went to ask if she had any recommendations on where I should call next (since she DIDN'T help like she said she would) she cut me off, laughed while saying "good luck" and hung up on me. I ended up taking my puppy to get a second opinion at a different vet and they right away ruled out the diagnosis Dr. Munson so quickly jumped to. The new vet thought it all stemmed from a mistreated first UTI. They also ordered bloodwork to rule out other issues, which Dr. Munson NEVER did, to which the new vet was surprised with, as well. Needless to say, Dr. Munson and her office has NOT ONCE reached out since to check on my puppy. The only contact was the front desk a month later asking if I was ever coming to pick up the probiotic, which I sent to VM. I should have trusted my gut after the first issue and went somewhere else! I warn again, DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Highly recommend selecting another vet clinic. This one is conveniently located for me especially since my husband is terminally ill and disabled and I have a 1 year old still it home so I need to get both a babysitter and caregiver when I go to appointments. The front staff is friendly but unintelligent. You will be waiting 45minutes every appointment even when you are the only one sitting there. My first puppy I got the puppy package so had to keep coming back even though it was a bad experience. I sat for 45minutes for one appointment only to be told she couldn't have her vaccine because it was a day earlier than it was supposed to be (THEY were the one that choose the day for her to come in) and why was it not flagged before I sat there waiting. Because the puppy package includes a discount on spaying I was still trapped with them when I got my new puppy. I gave them another chance and yet again I was waiting 45minutes. At 30 minutes I was told just a couple more minutes. In the meantime the front staff is not busy and I overhear about more screw ups with appointments they have to fix with other clients. At 45 minutes I ask how much longer it's going to be. That's when they send the tech out to explain they had an emergency 20 minutes before I arrived so it would either be another 20 minutes or I could leave and come back in the afternoon. Why would they not give me a call before I got there? Or when I got there? or after 15 minutes, 20 minutes etc? "Because she was in the emergency"....and no one else knew about it? Meanwhile I can hear talking and laughing behind the exam doors. AVOID coming here if you can. They trap you with a package so you loose money if you go elsewhere. They can't be honest and the front staff is terrible at their jobs. Being nice is great but I'd rather have timely, respectful and good care for my dog. I wouldn't trust them with any type of operation if they are this much of a mess. read more

Worst Vet experience, if I could give zero stars I would. (I wish I could remember the vet's name, this incident was 6/2023, she was semi new. Hopefully they fired her!) Took cat in for UTI. Vet had a chip on her shoulder because I am knowledgeable on common issues with cats as I have had many through my life. I don't think she liked my educated questions. Make a long story short her ego got in the way of my cats health. I left with NO antibiotics. When I got home my cat was in and out of the liter box 9 times in 2 hours. I called back and got Dr Munson. She basically said she couldn't help me because the Dr wrote in my chart not to give antibiotics unless the needle in the bladder sample was taken vs just expelling the bladder. When I was there I approved the bladder needle sample (even though the expelled sample has always been used in my past experience with other vets) but the vet said not possible to take needle sample because bladder isn't filled. Well it's never going to be filled because this cat is sooo scared to go in his carrier he pees being put in. (He was a Sr. rescue so I don't know the back story). I told the other vet this as well when I was in the office. Dr Munson said the other Dr left for the day and she would ask her the following morning. The other Dr gave Gabapentin only so I was able to help with any pain. The next morning I called as soon as the practice opened up and the other Dr REFUSED to allow Dr Munson to prescribe antibiotics even though Dr Munson was willing to allow an expelled sample due to my cats circumstance of never going to have a full enough bladder for the needle sample. The other Dr said NO Absolutely not. No antibiotics unless the needle bladder sample is obtained. That Dr put her power and pride above helping my cat. I went that morning to another vet and once I explained my cats symptoms (classic UTI symptoms) they gave me antibiotics. If you MUST USE this Vet Office. I would only see Dr Munson. And to top it all off the exam rooms were dirty. read more

I thoroughly enjoy the staff at La Sierra Veterinary Clinic as well as Dr Munson. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to what is known as "exotic" pets. She is one of the only veterinarians around that sees a wide variety of Pets. She is the only veterinarian I consider taking my pet rats to. I drive from San Bernardino all the way to Riverside just to make sure she is the one to provide their care, and I have been coming here for Several years. I do have to point out from the last review by Josette, I believe she has the wrong Veterinary Hospital. La Sierra Veterinary Clinic only has one doctor which is Dr Munson. Also they have never had an issue providing medical records. They will gladly give them to you or email them if you wish. As far as cost for medical care, they are very reasonable on their prices. And the care given to your pet is of the utmost importance. Dr. Munson and all the staff at La Sierra Veterinary Clinic will continue to receive my businesses they are some of the most knowledgeable around. read more

Stay away from this place, I took my cat there for a check up and a couple of dys after the visit I noticed he kept scratching his neck, I took a look and saw fleas on him, my cat is still a kitten, 4 months, he is white and actually likes to takes baths, which I do every 2 weeks, he is only indoors so no chance he could have gotten fleras anywhere else. I called thia place to ask why they donot keep their better better cleaned and are careful of flea infestation. Of course they said that they do not have fleas and don't know how thia could have happened, they said the office manager would cal me and here we are 2 weeks later and no follow up, my poor cxat is miserable, I tried a number of things to get rid of the fleas but it's hard to get rid of them. This place is filthy, I made the mistake of going there because of how close it to my house but what a MESS, I wish I had never gone there. I bring all 4 of my dogs to this place! And let me just star by saying what a really sweet staff they have here! One of the doctors (Hes the only male) Doctor i have seen working here. He is SO amazing with my dogs! It really shows how much he loves his job because even right when he came through the door he introduced himself and laid right on the floor with my dogs! I really enjoyed seeing that he doesn't mind getting down to their level (Especially because we all know how stressful vet visits can be) They have helped me get my Pug into a weightless program and i also really loved that they dont force products on you AT ALL even if you dont have enough for the weigh loss kibble they give you the right portions for your dog if you wanna keep them on their current food. This place is expensive but ineffective. The people are nice enough but the vets don't have similar belief systems. One vet tells me the food I'm feeding is great. A different vet disagrees but not because it's actually bad for my dog...and both are ineffective. They also do NOT let you have access to your own animal's files. You may NOT have your own information. Even though Every. Single. Thing you get there is expensive you may not, at any point, walk out of there with your animal's information. They also haven't upgraded to the world of scanning information and email. So getting your information to a different vet is a HUGE hassel. The only way to access YOUR animal's info is by asking another vet to ask them to fax it. read more

Our dog was suffering heavily, basically on her deathbed and we ordered meds for her around noon to ease her pain and we got a call back ten minutes before they close at 4:45 pm and I told the staff we could be there within 5 minutes which is 10 minutes before they close (5:00) and was told my dog can wait until tomorrow even though she was in excruciating pain (and we were going to be there before they closed). I drove from Hesperia to here, they do an amazing job with my rabbits. It is immensely hard to find a vet that even takes rabbits, let alone one that actually knows what they're doing. My only complaint is that the red haired receptionist is a bit grumpy. Every time she helps us, she talks to me like I'm 2 years old. Our dog recently struggled with a condition that prevented him from eating and drinking. We thought it might take his life but with regular re-hydration by LSVC, he seems to be out of the woods. Dr. Munson called me more than once to check on him which I thought was pretty amazing. If you're looking for a vet who cares, great staff, and a clean office, you should check out LSVC. read more

Waited two weeks for an initial visit for our puppy. They took him in the back and when they brought him back we were told the Veterinary Doctor could not see us because our dog has an oder and she is sensitive to orders so due to her new found headache she would call us from the back office. First off our puppy is clean washed with odorless shampoo literally had zero scent. Then she tried to up sell us on all sorts of vaccinations and a stool sample for Giardia. I asked the vet wouldn't he have symptoms like runny nose, goopy eyes, diarrhea and vomiting etc. The Vet said No probably not.. wth.. I have dealt with cats and dogs in the past with Giardia.. it was a flat lie.. this person tried to upsell us from a quoted $45 for initial visit with distemper vaccine to $177.00. Mind you we waited two weeks for this appointment only to find this quack behind door #1 This doctor is scheming, lazy and a straight up lier. Find someone else vets are a dime a dozen, this one isn't worth the time or money. read more

Ive taken both our cat and our dog to see Dr. Munsun and she is wonderful with both types of animals. Our dog had a stomach thing, our cat injured himself jumping from a high place. Both times the staff fit us in to be seen and were so wonderful and accommodating. The care was amazing. Our dog was better in a week after some antibiotics and probiotics and rest, our cat, got some much needed pain relief , updated shots, and some acne wipes (he had a little cat acne under the chin). Dr. Munson took time at each appointment to thoroughly examine both pets and discussed all treatment options and explain medications. I moved some distance, but I make the 40 minute drive to see her. Its worth it. And it was all affordable - both visits! read more
