I am extremely happy with the service provided by Sonny and his staff. I was traveling from Florida, relocating to Oklahoma when the transmission on my car took a dump. He and his staff were able to get the parts and had me on the road the following morning. Buyer beware I spent $8000 for a new engine and it needed catalytic converters. I took it to Sonny and he knew it and tried to get me to take it across the street to Moon's automotive to get it repaired because he knew that the engine was faulty, atlas transmission has no integrity. Do not waste your time. They are not good. I now have to let the attorney general know about their unscrupulous practices. This is a travesty. I spent $8000 for an engine. I brought it back and he didn't even offer to take care of the repairs. I sent him four emails and he tried to ignore me. I took my car for a diagnostic and when I picked my car up they quoted me an outrageous price along with my car was in worst condition than when I brought it in. I felt targeted due to me being a female. This was my second quote, first was from a dealership that was 3,000.00 cheaper than Atlas. They are not doing creditable business at that location. read more

I worked there for six weeks or so. This was twenty years ago I worked there. Temp work, another guy was on vacation. I learned a lot and fast. I still call down there every 2 years or so. i was overcharged for a radiator change thinking everybody can help when it's not done

My parents took their car from Lincoln Mercury Car Dealership to Atlas Transmission thinking that they would save some money by getting some transmission repairs there instead of the dealership towards the end of October 2020. It was the worst decision that they ever made. The car stopped with the transmission blinker on on Memorial Drive. After picking up my parents, I had a tow deliver their car back for service. They took their car back a total of three times. Finally they said that they couldn't fix it. I had another tow truck take the car back to the dealership at Lincoln Mercury off of Cobb Parkway. They are still trying to figure out what Atlas Transmission did to it. My parents have been without a car for two weeks. Don't try to save money by taking your car to Atlas Transmission 6900 Mableton Pkwy, Mableton, GA. I went here for an estimate on my transmission. I had a good referral and they've been around a long time. However when I got a second opinion it was clear they weren't as knowledgeable. The other shop, WTR Transmission in Buford, GA knew exactly what my problem was and explained it to me. They were half the price with 3x the warranty. This place is the worst! DO NOT...I repeat DO NOT take your vehicle to Atlas Transmission. I took my vehicle in for transmission replacement, the day I picked up my car....the transmission was not attached and was literally dragging on the ground. I ended up taking it to a service center close by to attach the transmission ( you think that Atlas could have at least attach the part to the car). So I ended up going back to Sonny and did he offer to reimburse me - NO- all this dude is concerned about is ripping people off! will recommend all my family and friends to Atlas Transmission since they made me feel comfortable. I needed new brakes, alternator and timing belt. price was very reasonable and they also offered the warranty for 12 months. So I knew I was getting my money's worth.
