Love the food here. Never had a bad meal. Service is usually good and fast. When it gets busy it may take couple more minutes to get your food but it is worth it. They don't compromise when it comes to a quality of food. read more

Had a terrible experience. The waiter was rude and did not tend to us except to take our order, during which he seemed like he was on another planet. We then had to go to the bar for more drinks and napkins. The food was just as terrible. Our steamed veggies were blanched at best and could be used as a weapon, they were so hard. Not kidding, I thought it was a joke. We ordered the prawns and had 2 or 3 less than was stated on the menu (I think the menu said 8). They were overcooked and chewy; inedible. We even waited around to complain but we're not tended to. That's when I decided I would be better heard here. I know service, I've worked in it for 15 years and now am the owner of my own business. There are bad days and the next day you hopefully bounce back and make up for it 10 fold. I can only hope this was the case with Atomic Ale. I'd probably go back to give them another chance but I'd be very weary. Please up your game, Atomic! It's a great little place with good beer. read more

Alder smoked pizza,is delicious. Small dining room but easy to move tables together for a group of friends! These guys are great!

My stars are mostly for the beer. All the beers, including the IPAs are just low ABVs. It's a family place, so I understand, but it's also a brewery and should be about making quality beer. I love IPAs and theirs were just underwhelming. Seems like every enjoys their Hefe, so if that's your style definitely try it. Food was pretty good and service was good until they were slammed. Only 2 servers between bar and tables. It just turned into our server not having time for us. They also don't pour their pitchers of beer accurately. They pour straight to the bottom causing 10% beer and 90% foam, then they let it sit while they start another one and eventually try and combine the two. Would save a lot of beer and time if they figured that out. This is the kinda place, though, that doesn't seem like it'll be changing anything soon. I kind of respect that, local place, local people, and they are happy with their product. read more

For some reason I thought this place was going to be bad, but my friend took me here and it was amazing. I highly recommend it. It does get a little crowded and noisy, but not terribly so. Food was really good. I had pizza and a warm spinach salad. The potato soup is also fantastic. read more

This is the best restaurant in the Tri-cities. The ingredients are fresh, the pizzas are imaginative, the beer is delicious, the atmosphere is appropriately laid back and the service is just right (not too much, not too little). The pizza of the day is almost always what I order, as the combinations of toppings these guys come up with is so frequently tempting and good. read more

I dig the atmosphere here.... its precisely what the Tri Cities lacks. Local spirit, hints of memorabilia from Hanford, etc. The beer is decent, but I was really liking their seasonal IPA as a pair with the Black & Blue pizza, which was SUPER tasty. For the next week, anytime someone mentioned the keywords like "blue," or "pizza," I was subjected to Pavlovian salivation. my wife and I come over to Tri-cities once a month to pay some bills.. and we always go to Atomic Brewpub. I am a beer fanatic.. and Atomic's beers are worldclass. you can't really go wrong but I especially recommend the amber and the Dunklewiezen when it is on. He does great on stouts, too. the food is also excellent.. they have a woodfired oven and the crust is perfect. we like the Godfather and the Ultimate veggie. their potato soup is justly famous.. good as it gets. the house salad dressing is utterly unique.. based on their amber, it is is sweet and delicious. Atomic is deservedly popular and sometimes you have to wait for a table but it is worth the wait. read more

I almost never leave reviews on anything, especially restaurants, since taste is very personal and subjective. That said, my husband and I went Atomic Ale for the first time. We both grew up in the Tri-Cities, but had never stopped there for a meal, so we decided to try something different while in Richland on other business. We had the pizza (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, olives, etc) and I hate to say it, but it was the worst pizza I have ever had in a restaurant or bar. It was barely warm when it arrived to the table, tasted WAY too much like frozen store-bought pizza, with bland sauce, pre-prepared or frozen crust, and very little cheese that sat there kind of dried-looking on the top. The toppings were plentiful, but not enough to save the overall opinion of the pizza. We also tried the pretzel with the hot butter topping. That was an interesting original idea, but be prepared for a very hot and spicy, almost overwhelmingly hot aftertaste and burning tongue! The best thing about the place was the people. Our server was very pleasant, the food (such as it was) arrived fast. The atomic theme was fun, but not fun enough to bring me back. read more

Headed to Richland for an appointment and hearing all the hoopla about this place my husband and I decided to try it. First off the parking was horrid, it was all I could do to do get out of my car door it was so tight. Walking inside and waiting for a seat was easy, there was no one to greet us so we sat ourselves, the waitress came over to get the order on our drinks so we grabbed the menu they have at each table, we didn't really see anything that sounded that great but since we ordered the drinks we decided to take a chance at the Chicken pesto sandwich. Got the drinks and waited for our lunch, first of all the salad was plain with nothing more than grated cheese. The sandwich arrived with potato chips, I was surprised at the size of the sandwich and what consisted of it, it was small with a small amount of chicken lettuce and tomato all for almost $10.00. The pesto was non existent to say the least, it was dry and to make matters worse my husband asked for a bottle of Tabasco sauce to up the taste. He proceeded to shake a small dab on the end of the sandwich and the whole bottle of sauce came pouring out. The reducer was out of the tip of the bottle top and ruined his sandwich. He was fried!!! The waitress came by to ask if everything was ok and he told her his sandwich was ruined by the defective bottle that was given to us to up the taste on the sandwich. She thought it was funny and smiled and walked away not thinking he might want a replacement sandwich..HELLO?? No mention of a replacement bottle of sauce or SANDWICH. It was a bad experience with food and service. 30.00 of nothing is what it cost and they lost a customer. The Atomic Ale Brewpub was not Atomic it was a fizzle. Do not order the chicken pesto sandwich it is like eating cardboard, very bland. Will find another place to enjoy our food and time. read more

I live in Richland and been here a couple times. The atmosphere is fun and has a nice local feel. However, the food just falls short of par. It's edible. It is just nothing special. The pizza crust is flavorless and goes well with their bland and gritty tomato sauce in terms of quality. I had a pineapple pizza recently and it was the worst pizza I have had that I personally paid for. It reminded me of the pizza I was served in the public school system. So if this place is going for nostalgia then it hit the mark of taking me back to my worst memories of childhood sitting on the long cafeteria table looking down at my pathetic cardboard puck with red sauce and fake cheese. I have had the BBQ chicken pizza before and it was better than the pineapple pizza but overall I have not been impressed with this place and probably will not return unless drug there by a group of drunk friends that can't think straight. read more
