Since my original review seems to have been taken down. Here I go yet again, We went here about 2 years ago. We showed up on time (15/20 early as a matter of fact), but my wife's beautician didn't. Arrived about an hour late. No call to my wife, or even the shop. We understands things happen but not even a call. We had no other choice so wife waited. She finally showed up after the appropriated time we were told. Which definitely set back my whole night. In which, we had to be at a Military Ball soon after her appointment was supposed to end. I'm sure other woman wouldn't appreciate being rushed to get dressed and put the rest of their make up on because of their incompetence a d lack of time management. I'm not the only one who has stated so. Just read the other reviews. I do not recommend this place for any military balls, weddings, festivals etc. Hope no one else gets a dm asking you to take your comment down because of their incompetence. Made us late for a Marine Corps ball. Started the night of horrible due to them. Thank god US MARINES always know how to have fun. Will not recommend this place at all. read more

Had a great experience with Lauren. Love how my hair turned out. She knows how to cut curly textured hair and that's difficult to find!

Unfortunately we did not get the opportunity to use their services however, everyone needs to know that they will not refund your deposit. I sent $80 on Monday and Wednesday the groom got covid and when I called to ask to cancel the appointment and refund my deposit, I was told that was not doable. In addition, they sent an email that basically stated we needed to straighten our hair before we showed up and we needed to send them the style that we wanted as this would help the stylist. I never sent this because it all happened so soon that the groom got covid. They should have refunded the money and definitely as stylists they should be the ones straightening the hair, not me. read more

I've been coming to Atomic Style Lounge since June 2020 and I can honestly say I love every single moment I spend in the salon. Everyone here is amazingly nice and welcoming, I never have to worry about anyone being rude or snappy. I'm not one to write reviews but I'm always excited when it comes time for me to do my hair again lol. The booking process is extremely easy and straight forward. David or Jen are always lovely to speak to and they make it very easy for me to express what I want done in the booking process. When I first had my hair done here my stylist was Geri and I absolutely love her. It was my first major jump in to getting a mullet and she made me feel excited for my new look. I trusted her the entire time I was getting my hair done despite being nervous. The last few times I came in I worked with Kerri and she is an absolute doll and the sweetest thing I've ever met. Every stylist I've encountered or worked with or even just spoke to in passing are extremely nice. They definitely add to the positive vibes of this place. The receptionist is extremely lovely and made me feel welcomed. Came here for the first time to get my hair and makeup done for my wedding (on Super Bowl Sunday)! I made sure to book ahead of time, which was super easy. Stephanie styled my hair (which came out so adorable!) and cut my bangs. After showing her a couple of photos for reference she was able to style my hair perfectly while adding my sparkly black veil on the side. After getting my hair styled by Stephanie I got my makeup done by Karri. She did an amazing job giving me a classic vintage makeup look! Oh my gosh!!! Jenn and Co. at atomic style lounge are amazing!! My now husband and I decided to plan a last-minute wedding in Las Vegas, but with only a couple weeks to plan, I was having some trouble trying to find a way to get my hair/makeup done. I tried to recruit my sister, but she offered instead to pay for professional wedding hair/makeup. Omg! Well, we live a few hours away, so I began the hunt online for a salon. I scoured yelp, but I felt like none of the other salons had an example of the 'look' I was going for: victorian goth meets pinup! Thank goodness for all the great reviews on yelp for Atomic, because finally I found the place! Jenn was super cool and accommodating! I sent them photos of my dress and some pics of how I wanted my makeup. They opened up early because I was having a morning ceremony. The day of, my mom and I showed up and met with Jenn and the makeup artist and hair stylist! I feel terrible because I can't remember their names now, but they were both super duper awesome! My mom is 73 and said she felt so beautiful afterwards, she was beaming the entire day! And for me, they were able to give me the exact look I was hoping for, even though I didn't totally know what I wanted!! Shaina was amazing! I will be coming to see her from now on and making sure everyone knows how amazing she is! I have been wanting an undercut with a spiderweb design for some time, the first attempt at another salon was a fail, so after some research my husband booked my appointment here. The moment I walked in I felt confident I was in the right place. The front desk guy (I forgot his name sorry!) Was super sweet, he took my temperature, asked me politely to wash my hands and have a seat. Shaina sat me down and was so sweet and patient with me. I showed her what I wanted, she explained to me that my previous cut wouldn't allow it to look like the picture(like I said, bad first experience at the other salon, same picture) so I told her to do what she thought was best. If you book months in advance to ensure you have your set appointment "time" with the "stylist" of your choice, and arrive on time to your appointment. The owner Jenn Hunter, will make sure to disregard your requests and appointment time to do what's best for her, with no explanation or concern for professional courtesy and customer satisfaction. She couldn't trouble herself to take a minute to check my appointment details or inform me that she altered my appointment. No business ever, should feel so entitled. It was clear Jenn has a preference for the "type" of clientele she enjoys catering to and then there's those she merely tolerates. Her favoritism is blatant. Also, lord forbid the air in her salon is not working and it's over 100 degrees outside because she won't even offer a glass of water, if you are not of her preferred type. You'll have to ask and her distain will come through, I can still feel it. I asked, it was clearly an inconvenience for her. This salon is not the place to book your beauty needs if your used to customer service and want to a enjoy professional, classy, opulent beauty shop experience. The stylist from start to finish will leave you looking like a million dollars but ....... the management is horrid. At the end of the day, it was an unpleasant experience. I appreciated, thanked, and tipped my stylists for the excellence in their craft and the customer service they provided. Sadly, because of the management I will not return. I will never return here, there are so many other better options with business owners that understand diversity, inclusion, and value all of the folks who patron their establishment.
