LOVE LOVE LOVE!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. This is the first time I've been able to see my stylist Marissa in months after she moved to Atomic style lounge. First the store store itself is so cute and clean and the staff is so friendly I felt comfortable immediately. But let's talk about Marissa, she's new to vintage styling but talented as ever, I had never had a vintage style before but I knew I was in good hands. Today Marissa did a pageboy style on my hair and she nailed it, it's lightweight and comfortable and so chic it fits me very well, I can't wait to come back for my next service at the salon with her!

I have been going to Atomic for years and they always hit the mark! This is your go-to spot for vintage styling and haircuts, but what you may not know is that they are absolutely up to date on modern styles and trends as well! I will never go to another hair salon! My stylist today was Chelsea and she was fabulous. Chelsea is super fun to talk to, very communicative with what she is doing and her processes, and the end result to my hair was perfect. It was exactly what I wanted! Everyone at Atomic is extremely nice and personable. They do men's haircuts as well. This is absolutely a LGBTQ+ friendly salon and I have always found the team here to be super accepting of every person who walks through the door. They are just good people. The vibe of the shop itself is retro and very trendy. You can absolutely get some cute photos while in the shop! They also sell some awesome hair products and vintage accessories.

I wanted to make sure I sat down to really thoroughly write out my review because I want to make sure I don't miss a single detail. Everyone from Atomic Style Lounge made my wedding so incredibly special! Jenn, Marie, and David were absolutely wonderful to speak with over email (and helped answer my many, many questions with nothing but patience) and was one of the most stress free parts of the whole wedding process. For the wedding day itself, Mesha was an absolute rockstar! She was incredible and wonderfully patient as everyone in the room was searching for all the various wedding items we needed. She took all my inspiration (which I will admit was shaky on the makeup, as I wasn't quite sure exactly what I wanted) and made a look that made me feel like an old Hollywood Starlet and I felt so glamorous all day! The hair and makeup held up for over 12 hours through the ceremony, dinner, and our whole reception without the need for touch ups. If you're considering Atomic Style Lounge for any hair and makeup, I cannot recommend them enough!

Hey babes. Just wanted to shout out the best makeup artist I've ever met.... And I have my degree in makeup, not just my license.... So I feel personally like that says a lot... Maire Louise Casillas Berger was the best part of getting ready for my special day. This isn't the only time she has made me feel the best I've ever felt.... She, on two other occasions, made me feel the best I've ever felt. Says a lot for one woman but damn, she's good. She makes you feel amazing with her beautiful personality and sweet words. If I can give this establishment a 1000 stars I would. Every stylist they have is amazing and so talented. My hair was ruined and hallie stepped in and gave me her recommendations and fixed it. My hair is healthy and long truly grateful for the entire staff. On another note my mother in law needed a hair cut and she was so scared to get one because she hasn't trusted a stylist in 13 years. I gave her Hallie's information who I swear by! My mother in law was hesitant but agreed, the reason my mother in law was so hesitant was due to past medical conditions. However my mother in law explained to Hallie her concerns and she listened! Hallie explained the entire process before even starting! My mother in law came home looking gorgeous as ever! Thank you to Hallie for being amazing and the entire atomic style lounge for making her experience a 100000/10. She will be booking again soon! My entire family gets their hair done here because we trust the staff and we love the atmosphere!

This is my favorite place in Las Vegas. The people who work here are incredibly talented and open to whatever imaginative hair ideas anyone could conjure. Could not recommend more.

Had Hallie cut and style my hair today and I'm so in love! I cut every few years to donate to charity and she made sure everything qualified and was tied off properly before doing the big chop. I showed her a single Marilyn Monroe picture and boom it is spot on. She was totally understanding that I brought my baby and accommodated the small breaks I had to take for him too, loved that. Clean, quiet, totally rationally priced and everyone there was working with a perfect flow of conversation. Thank you, Hallie!

Everything !!!! Horrible horrible !!! Stay away from this place . It's a joke and for tourists . Not for anyone who wants legit hair at a legit price . Not to mention the owner laughed in my face like a child would do instead of just admitting the fault on their part . The owner let me walk out like this and sent me home with purple shampoo to fix it myself . Then had the audacity to offer to fix it with a different stylist . This is not a salon. It's a niche place to go for someone who wants to get a betty page blunt cut with dark hair . They emailed me and offered a free cut if I came I. Which I did do . Now I'm stuck like this ans oh boy!!! What a mistake !! Who would Go back there after this ? Desperate they were and I fell for it . I also went back in there for a so called evaluation and the owner tried to gaslight me telling me nothing was wrong with my hair . She called it baby lights lmao . And said I also had breakage . If that's all true why even start to die my hair in the first place ?? I also want to say that I was over quoted at 400 dollars for a simple balayage . All said and done it was over 500 just to walk away looking worse than when I came in . This lady also tried to bully me in her salon . It was classic mean girl style and embarrassing to have to endure it . She also reniged on her word to just refund me .. I was told that I must hsbe doscored the photos of my hair . Like get real ! Why did you send me home Ruth purple shampoo and advise me to time it down if nothing was wrong??? Can't advise enough to NOT go in here !!!!

I came in and got my hair done with Chelsea. She was absolutely amazing! I haven't colored my hair in over 10 years and I tend to get anxious when cutting or coloring my hair. I have long thick hair and haven't cut it in over 8 months. Chelsea took her time to ensure I was comfortable and reviewed my photo inspo discussing what was possible for my hair. I ended my session with a gorgeous balayage and money piece. I am so happy with the outcome and can't wait to go back and get it styled for my birthday. The salon is such a vibe. Shaina changed my life with the adorable stylish razor cut she gave me. My hair is extremely hard to work with because of how thick and Curley it is. This was no problem for Shaina. She took her time and sculpted such a beautiful cut and style for me. I could not be happier!!! I am so happy this salon exists along side Beckie who does an amazing job. I went from brunette to the blonde I desired in just two sessions. Beckie does such a good job that my blonde stays toned for such a long time. I was worried about having damaged hair because my hair is very sensitive but it turned out very healthy. This salon uses Amiika products which is really hard to come across. Amiika is a very healthy brand to use and their purple shampoo is amazing as well. I won't go anywhere else for my hair now. Also if you're looking for a trim, they do healthy trims which made my hair a lot shinier and stronger. Service wise, they are very welcoming and will make sure you're comfortable. read more

I was delighted to find out my favorite nail artist was working here. Yes, I'll drive 30 minutes to get my nails done by her, but it's much nicer to know she is now closer, a mere 10 minute drive. Plus, I love the colors and the vibe of Atomic and the downtown area. Got my nails done "vintage style" for a 6 week trip abroad with the half moon and it was just what I needed. Nothing like traveling, packing, unpacking, performing, rehearsing and working out and not having to worry about getting my nails done or with them chipping. Could not recommend this salon more! I got my haircut from Shaina Lopez and she did a fantastic job with my overgrown pixie cut and turned it into a cute bob with straight across bangs. She did my bangs so well and they even give you a complimentary bang touch up trim :) The whole store is absolutely adorable and everyone working there has been nothing but absolutely sweet and welcoming to me. Im very happy to say I haven't had a bad experience at Atomic to date it's been great!! I have only been a few times also have taken my daughter. We both have had beautiful results very distinct styles and color. Tori is very conscious of what her clients are looking for. She has a very easy going but professional demeanor. Never in a rush takes her time and gives great advice and tips for caring for your hair. I'm not big on reviews but more ppl need to know about this place in the heart of town. read more

disappointed to walk into my appointment today as the first cut at the opening to find a client already getting thier hair cut. i was told it would be about 5 minutes as i had arrived early. weird i thought id be the first apointment since the salon opens at 10 but no at 955 theres another person. im then advised i would be between 2 appointments. well its bad enough im having to wait even though i should be the first appointment of the day, now i know my stylist will have to rush my job because shes behind now and will be late to all appointments if she doesnt. i dont blame the stylist, i blame the overearger manager or owner that scheduling people unrealisticly. i went to this salon because i wanted the attention the higher prices insiuates, not to be a rush job like supercuts. i was planning on joining the haircut club they have but after seeing how its run i wont be going back read more

I had booked this wonderful salon for my wedding as my bridal party and I are going to be pin up themed. Today was my trial make up. And I am 100% blown away omg how amazing it turned out. Heather my Makeup artist listened to everything I told her what I liked what I didn't. She asked question to get to know my style and wanted to know how I felt about everything. Since early 2021 I've been I coming to Atomic every 8-10 weeks for bright fashion colors, cut and style. Tori is who I saw my first time there, so I've become one of her regulars. Tori is a wizard with fashion colors! She is incredibly talented. My cut and style is always on point, as well. The downtown salon is super cute and clean. Becki is AMAZING!!!! It was my first time in Vegas and the first time in a long while trying out a new salon ( which I was a nervous wreck about). The last time I tried a new salon they mangled my hair, but from the moment I walked in the door Becki was friendly, charming, and 100% understanding of my nerves based on my past experience. She completely set me at ease and we had an amazing time chatting while she was working on my hair (she also gives head massages that are to die for). Words can't describe how at-home I felt here. My sister is a hair stylist but lives across the country so I know the basics of what should happen in a salon, but Atomic Style Salon (and Becki) surpassed my expectations! I was so happy that this is now my go-to salon even though I don't live near Vegas. The salon is adorable, the products they use are amazing, the stylists they employ are the type of people you want to be friends with (okay, I only met Becki, but if everyone working there is as awesome as she is, my point stands), and the hospitality they provide is next-level. I adore my haircut and will be making more trips to Vegas just to go see Becki!! read more

This salon is my absolute fave! I had tried other stylists and salons before and I'm so thankful to have found Tori and the rest of the Atomic team. I love that Tori not only cares about making sure I look great, but she also makes sure that my hair is healthy! I've tried it all, cut/color/updo/makeup and have never left unhappy. First timer, 100% coming back! Becky was my stylist and Jenn helped me out with the appointment! They're fantastic, super nice and friendly. Just got a trim but she cleaned up my split ends and did some crazy thing where she got the split ends of new growth and made my hair feel like silk. Like omg I can't, best hair cut I've ever gotten and I left with the tiniest pile of hair on the floor. Will recommend all day, hands down the best. read more

Great beauticians! Terrible business practices! The owners are malicious and money hungry . They offer programs and services. Regularly cancel and lie about why they are cancelling and rescheduling. They prioritize walk ins over regulars. It's disrespectful to the customers and stylist. Again each of the 3 hair dressers I saw did a wonderful job. Unfortunately David and Jenn don't see the value in running a honest business . In addition the bathroom is revolting. The salon has a cute 50s concept but half way done. Bare design. read more

Had a lovely experience at Atomic this morning. I walked in with grown out roots and fried ends and left feeling fresh and perfectly blonde. My stylist Tori was excellent - I'm super happy with the cut and color and additionally she was very friendly, personable, and professional. Everyone in the salon was very nice and I'll certainly return soon. Blondes can be tricky and I am glad to have found a hair stylist I can trust to do it right! read more

Went in because my wife told me about their $50 unlimited cut membership, and it sounded like a great deal because my hair grows so fast. I was scheduled with Becki and she was very friendly. I told her what I liked and needed, because I'm in the military my hair needs to be within certain regulations. She gave me a lot of insight and understanding to what she was doing with my cut and why and I felt comfortable with her judgement the whole way through. The cut came out nice and clean just how I like it and I look forward to being able to come back frequently to maintain this great look! read more

This place is defiantly retro, almost like walking back in time. Not the barber aspect but if you like the 50's style vintage, this is the place to grab a cut. They were advertising an after hours event at the place when I stopped in, a pin up girl and greaser guy thing. This looked like it would be fun. The people who work there seem to dress the part well and seem to love the vintage nostalgia. read more

I made my appointment online and the owner Jenn already have gotten back to me right away. I've followed this salon on Instagram for quite sometime too. I love the vintage, pinup, rockabilly look so I wanted a certain look to celebrate my 2 year wedding anniversary. My hairdresser Geri did an absolutely amazing look by creating my double victory rolls hairstyle. Heather my makeup artist did such an awesome job on creating my pinup look from my winged eyeliner & red lips. I loved the atmosphere & how everyone welcomed me. I first discovered this wonderful gem of a salon when I was booking for viva Las Vegas, unfortunately Covid happened and I had to cancel viva Las Vegas trip. This past weekend I went to Vegas and decided to get my hair and makeup done with my best friend. We were in desperate need of some glam but some incredible RETRO GLAM. Not only was the staff so professional, practiced all of the safety protocols, and were so kind. They did so amazing by listening to our style wants and needs for glam. This was my first time here and the service and haircut were so good that I signed up for their monthly membership. This is a business ran by downtown Las Vegas residents looking out for other LV residents, their customers, and their employees. They had very clean and safe procedures to adhere to the pandemic while making you feel like your business was very appreciated. Haircut was not rushed at all and the conversation was great. Definitely looking forward to my next visit as they had mentioned that any person can cut a guy's hair and give a great fade. read more

I stopped in and saw Beckie for a quick cut. She did an amazing job at a great price. They also offer unlimited hair cuts for $50 a month which seems like a great deal. I highly recommend the services provided as Beckie knows what she's doing!! Wait times for walk ins are quick as well. read more

Was drawn here by their Men's membership club and have gone many times. Yesterday I got a cut from Jeri and I'm seriously impressed with her attention to detail and her ability to give me EXACTLY the cut I was looking for. She's so friendly and it's very refreshing to see that she really enjoys her work. I've spoken with the owner Jen several times and she's always so friendly and very helpful. The one time I did have an issue she resolved it immediately and made sure I was taken care of and it was much appreciated! My stylist did a great job with my haircut, and I could tell she's efficient and experienced. That said, I did run into an issue with the color service. The dye left visible staining along my hairline, temples/sideburn area, and behind my ears, which I wasn't informed about until after everything was done and I saw it in the mirror. The stylist did try to remove it, but it didn't come off easily, so I left with noticeable staining on my skin. I understand that things can happen, especially with different products, but I do wish there had been more communication in the moment and a more thorough final check/cleanup before I left the salon, especially since the staining was visible in multiple areas. Unfortunately, I'm not very comfortable waiting for it to fade on its own, and I'm also not inclined to return for a future service. Overall, I think this place has a lot going for it, but I hope they can improve the finishing process and post-service support so clients don't leave with unexpected issues. UPDATE: (response to Business Owner response) Thank you for the response, Emily. I appreciate you taking the feedback into consideration. I understand that staining can sometimes happen, but my concern was more around the visibility in multiple areas and that it wasn't fully addressed before I left. When we were ready we were directed over to chairs where we were told to remove any necklaces or jewelry that would get in the way and a basket was given to us to store our belongings. We walked over to the hair wash stations and laid down. The lighting was dim and music was calm. It was thee place to chill us out! I hadn't washed my hair in 3 days and I was long overdue for a wash! The lady who took care of me was gentle and asked how the water temp and pressure was. She was cautious with the comb, too. I didn't experience any tugging or tangling. The lady lather rinsed and repeated and she would apply extra pressure around my scalp which felt nice. Afterwards, a warm towel was placed over my eyes. The lady began to massage my head and neck, moved me to the left and then over to the right. I wanted to fall asleep bc I was relaxed and at ease. When the washing and massage time was up, our hair was wrapped up and we were brought over to the drying area. We were given another massage that involved our neck, upper back and shoulders. We were given tea and a cookie and we sat under hands free hairdryer which was so cool! Like I can use both my hands to help dry my hair?! So innovative! So efficient! Like I want one for myself now! The lady asked us if we needed any hair products to dry our hair but they didn't have my root lift serum. My hair dried fast and I was able to sip my tea and destress. Yasss. Overall, it was a great "treat yo self" experience. The lady who helped me was kind and gentle, the service was great and our scalps felt clean and our hair smelled good! Reasonably priced for Vegas! I would definitely come back again and do the scalp analysis session if ever I'm in the area again.

My barber Cesar moved to this store a few years back, and despite me moving to a house in the North West of the valley, I am still happy to make the drive here for his awesome and friendly service, and for the overall experience. I highly recommend him, so ask for him by name if you are booking or doing a walk in! The interior really is very cool, great to have a true barbershop feel to enjoy rather than the bland and clinical interiors of most modern chains or shops. It's fun looking at all the decor, including some of the more fun items on display, it all just adds to the overall experience. It's also reasonably priced, though be aware this is a cash only establishment, so no cards, but they do have an ATM. Overall, Good Times Barbershop lives up to its name. It is always a great experience coming here and I highly recommend this business.

I could not rave more about my experience and outcome, at Atomic Style Lounge!! I had a very specific style in mind when I always dreamt of getting married, Hollywood Waves. However, I've been in a ton of weddings in the past, and have never been satisfied with the outcome. That all changed with Karri. She literally made my Wedding hair dreams come true!! Every bit of my experience at Atomic Style Lounge, right from booking was 10 out of 10. Since my husband & I eloped, I didn't have friends or family with me to experience all the wedding bliss & fun, but the way Karri & the rest of the ladies made me feel while I was there, was so special. Karri is hands down the MOST talented stylist I have ever come across. I was in awe of her talent, along with making my wedding morning so much fun, topped up with champagne! I've never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding, it was absolutely more than I could have ever hoped for & I will forever thank Karri & Atomic Style Lounge for this! read more

I struck gold with Atomic Style Lounge. This place is the absolute best! The salon has a fun rockabilly style that is cool, funky, and not at all pretentious. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. I really appreciate their attention to detail. They want to make sure you are getting the style you want, and if you make a change or want to try something a little different they let you know what is possible and are upfront about any possible price changes so there are no surprises. I've been going to Lauren for over a year and she is just WONDERFUL. She is an artist with color and her haircuts are so detailed and perfect. My hair is just better because of her expertise and so much easier to style. Everytime I leave Atomic, I feel like I'm glowing, and that's just the best. read more

Where do I start! With SeanPaul. So a bit about me. I am 65 a very young 65. I have basically a "Rocker Cut" or Long Shag because I have a LOT of hair. It has to be layers to keep it off my face & to help lighten up the weight so my scalp does not hurt. My mane is my pride & joy and not very many stylist's can handle the cut I really want. SeanPaul got it right off the bat. I came in with it clean & dry so he could see it at its best. He cut it dry! I don't need anyone washing my hair or putting stinky product in as I have all my own at home. I can't tell you how happy I am that I found this Salon. The Salon itself is crazy fun, the staff is as well and the cost is very fair. I would recommend Atomic with more stars if they had them! Happy Happy Girl here! read more

I recently went to see my hairdresser Deanna Padilla who was working at Atomic lounge salon. I've been going to Deanna for close to six years and have always been impressed by her skill, she truly cares about her clientele. I've always been honest with her and have she's meet my expectations each time. This last time I saw her at Atomic Lounge and it was so much fun! The salon is very nostalgic, open concept and the decor was great. The location was very easy to find and when the sun went down, we were looking out at the view from the front window of the salon at the beautiful lit up downtown. I felt very comfortable and relaxed while getting my hair done. I would recommend this to all my friends and family still in vegas and just visiting. read more

Love this salon! This was my second time going to this salon. I found an amazing stylist from their instagram account named Laine. I travel to Las Vegas for work so when in town I decided to schedule an appointment with Laine. I love then way she cuts my hair she did a trim this time and it's perfect! She did another style on my ends to show me the different ways I can wear my hair instead of just straight. I love the bouncy curls and can't wait to try and recreate this look. I have been looking for a salon like this for years!! Two years ago I met one of the owners at Viva Las Vegas in a random encounter who was looking to open a salon here. It's finally here!!!! This place is dynamic with contemporary and vintage styling for both men and women. Asia, my stylist, rocked my hair with a blonde I've never had in any salon. The best part was that she didn't even blink an eye when I asked for victory rolls! The space is vintage and edgy in the most upcoming part of town. I enjoyed a fabulous complimentary glass of wine too! Bottom line -it's was an experience. read more

I have been looking for a salon that I could feel comfortable in and welcomed - I've been in Vegas since April of this year and I've finally found it! This salon is amazing and do are everyone involved with it! Gabie was so sweet and she did a wonderful job on my hair. I have naturally curly hair and to know she knew exactly what to do with it - it was a sigh of relief! Rockabilly/retro/pinup is definitely something I've loved for forever - who knew I could ever find a salon with those very characteristics! Keep it up! You're all so awesome!!! I'm not usually one to leave reviews for places I get my hair cut at but I felt compelled to in this scenario. Everyone at Atomic was incredibly friendly, the salon was inviting and the staff was exceedingly helpful when it came to choosing a style that fit me. The interior of the salon was very unique and had a retro-rockabilly vibe. You definitely receive an experience when you step into this salon, not just a service and that alone is comforting. I'm from the UK and decided to elope in Las Vegas. the downside of doing this is that you don't get the usual hair and makeup trial! Karri listened to exactly what I wanted and was super creative to do a style that suited me so well! I could have had 10 hair trials and still want what Karri created! Such a fun atmosphere! Cool, retro/punk supplies to admire & purchase. The location is the perfect place for this artsy lounge. After my new do I walked around the block, stopped in an art gallery, grabbed a crafty cocktail at Velveteen Rabbit, & made a day about it. DeAnna, my stylist, is amazing!. My hair is exactly what I wanted & she gave me a funky up-do to rock for the day. All in all a great experience & I definitely would recommend a trip to see DeAnna. read more

let me just say the owners are super committed, accommodating, and have wonderful communication (Dave recommended some vibing hangouts, Thanks Dave- so much fun!) My wife and I both got haircuts at Atomic Style Lounge yesterday. Gabby was extremely personable and professional, and gave us both exactly what we wanted: excellent haircuts. As a bonus, they were having a promotion with discounts haircuts and products. We each received a Bumble & Bumble sample bag after our cuts which contained some exceptional products. Atomic Style Lounge is the perfect retro spot to get a hair cut or style for that perfect event. You are greeted with a smile upon walk in and offered a cold beverage from water.tea to soda. My hairdresser moved away and I was scared finding someone new. My friend recommended DeAnna. She is awesome. She's really sweet and listens to what you want. 64 guy needed a savant stylist. Enough with the Einstein/Homeless messy bleached shag.
