Absolutely blown away by how incredible this place is all around. I was honestly a little bit skeptical about going to a place in the mall at first, but based on the reviews I had seen, I thought it was worth a shot to go by and check out. Could not have been more pleasantly surprised. This place is so incredibly clean, well managed, and the staff is all friendly and helpful. Everything happens in a timely manner - they take their time in whatever they are doing whether it's piercings or tattoos however, if they are not in the middle of doing something, they are getting ready for something else. There was no one standing around just hanging out on their cell phones or just talking to each other and ignoring customers like you see pretty much anywhere these days. Everyone was doing something at all times. And! Everyone was pleasant- no one had a mood or seemed to be having a bad day- everyone respected each other and all the customers no matter how the looked or acted. It was so refreshing!! I initially talked to the guy at the front about what I wanted to do, and before he just went ahead and booked me for that he had some recommendations he wanted me to hear out. Those recommendations actually changed my mind for the better and he consulted with one of me piercing specialist to confer and I ended up taking that route instead. I was taken back and taken care of by Cassie - she's absolutely incredible, very knowledgeable and such a pro! She put me at such ease and walked me through what her plan was and it was fantastic. She even noticed that I wasn't in love with one of the earrings that we put in and asked if I wanted it changed and initially I said don't bother, but she could tell that I would most likely be happier with something else, and pushed for me to speak up and she changed out the stud at the top and the second one she put on was perfect. I am glad that she's advocating for me as I'm not the best at advocating for myself. I never want to inconvenience anyone so a lot of times I will say yes just to not bother anyone, so I'm very happy she pushed to figure out what I actually wanted. Since one of my piercings was irritated - she entered in 2 silicon discs to help push down the small bump I had created by picking at it and then double pierced my ears below. She said I should see very noticeable results in the next 4-6 weeks for the bump to slim down and to come back and check with her then to decide next steps. She even went as far as to let me know which days she worked at this location and gave me her business card and said that I could follow up with her on Instagram if I had any questions in the meantime. Absolutely hands-down could not recommend a better place. So if anyone is on the fence about where to go get piercings, highly highly recommend going here!! I would recommend tattoos too from what I saw - everyone's was very neat and people who left after getting them seemed very happy. Lastly, the pricing was extremely reasonable, and the wait time was close to none. I was able to be seen immediately as walk-in. Which to be honest, I was a little shocked by because everyone seemed pretty busy and there were other people coming in for appointments most of which I think were tattoos but one girl behind me was definitely in for a piercing. It was incredible to be seen and taken care of so quickly without an appointment. I don't ever plan on going anywhere else in Tampa so long as I have the opportunity to come here. I don't know where to even begin. A few days ago I got my septum pierced for the first time. The placement of the piercing was far back in my nose, and the size of the jewelry was very small. So small that the first night it caused pinching and lots of irritation. When I went back to the piercer she attempted to place a larger size piece in diameter but it was extremely painful so we stopped and the hole closed right up Fast forward to me looking online attempting to locate another piercing spot, I kept finding great reviews for CASSIE BIXLER at Atomic Tattoo and Piercing. I decided to give them a visit. Today was my lucky day! Cassie just happen to be in (she only works certain days at the Brandon location). From the moment we began talking she had a very laid back/calming demeanor. I showed her pics of my former piercing and we discussed all my options in detail. The whole time still taking into consideration the size, location and personal preferences I asked for! Luckily I was able to be seen the same day and she successfully re-pierced my septum! This time in a much better location that allowed for any anticipated swelling. The actual piercing took only seconds and because she was so quick, I didn't have time to feel the pain. It was more like a pinch of skin feeling. My new piercing was 1000% quicker, easier and far less painful than my original piercing experience with another place. And it wasn't expensive at all, which was great. The new jewelry is beautiful and bigger, so I can actually see the jewelry as opposed to it lying right on my nose..pinching my nostrils. Cassie went above and beyond and even changed the gauge and diameter size to meet my personal preferences. She wanted to assure I was happy with the jewelry, size and overall experience and I am so thankful for that. I originally got tattooed at the Ybor location as a walk in by Beau, and I was so in love with how my tattoos looked that I booked with Beau again. Beau's line work reminds me of a lot of California artists. He has a super light hand, and even though he's a traditional artist he's done beautiful non traditional tattoos on me. I came here after graduating college with my friend to get a cute piercing to commemorate my graduation. I wanted a third forward helix, because i have two in a row. When I got it pierced it wasn't in line with my other two exactly how I wanted it and I was pretty upset, but i'm not confrontational so I was just gonna take it out and leave with a bad experience, but my friend forced me to go back inside and ask to have it taken out or fixed. The piercer, TJ, and the person working the front were extremely nice and reassured me it wasn't an inconvenience and that they were happy I came back to get it exactly how I wanted it. The best tattoo studio I've been to so far! I have several tattoos, and went in for my 13th piercing yesterday. After calling around, I decided that they were cheaper priced than other studios in the area, it cost about $50 for my piercing. On the phone I could just tell that I wanted to go here regardless, from the way they talked to me on the phone. They are sweet and down to earth. Most tattoo studios are conceited and can just be downright rude... The staff at Atomic are highly professional and extremely knowledgeable. The whole process was super fast, and I was a walk-in customer. I was offered the piercers personal number just in case I had any aftercare questions or concerns. Went in yesterday to get a septum piercing. I can't be any happier than the end results after Cassie pierced me. First of all... after the procedure was done the actual jewelry was a bit uneven due to the fact I have a deviated septum. Cassie asked me if she could do it again and wanted to free hand the piercing due to my deformity. I really wanted the piercing so I went ahead and let her correct it. Honestly I can tell you she was able to avoid the clamps and did a perfect job free-handing and was super gentle. (I know as gentle as she could be). The two stars are because at least the piercing (standard two lobes) was done correctly. For starters, the guy at the front desk was rude and made it feel like questions were a bother. Then, a girl came in and left and they started bad mouthing her in front of us and the other customers. The piercer (I didn't catch his name) did a great job in setting us at ease at making sure we didn't think about what was going on too much- a little too distracting, though. After being marked up and asking for it to be lower, he simply marked it and put the needle in without asking again. And what jewelry went in? We didn't even know until they were all in the ears. No instructions for aftercare or how long healing time was. Very strange experience. Thankful that at least the piercing was done correctly. read more

I went to Atomic in Brandon Mall about 2 months ago- in mid February. This was my first tattoo so i was a little nervous, but from the moment i walked into the shop i was kindly welcomed. Im only 17 and my mom was there, but that didn't change the service that was provided. They set me up with an artist--Bosco--who listened to my idea and wrote up a sketch. After filling out paperwork they took me back to a chair. Bosco was completely amazing! He started by transferring the sketch to my skin, and got my approval. He then explained the entire process to me and made me feel comfortable! Bosco is an amazing artist and made me feel comfortable through the entire tattoo. He constantly checked up on me even while focusing on making my tattoo perfect. Helped me through whatever pain i was feeling, helping me breath through it and stay calm. I'm so appreciative of Bosco and being so willing to make a connection with me, and the tattoo turned out amazing! The healing process was very quick and painless and he made sure i was set up with a good cleaning process, and was able to answer questions i had through the healing as well.
