Went to go get a piercing and I'm SO GLAD I DIDNT bring my mother to get her piercing too... the tattoo artist we're talking about politics and one said something about anti depressants getting banned and said "good if you're depressed just kill yourself" while I was sitting there with my brothers ashes around my neck who committed suicide it would have sent my mother in a spiral to hear that. BUTTTTT the piercer there was super nice and pleasant and informative and gave me good vibes the whole time. Mike pierced my 6 month old baby's ears and he was AMAZING! My husband and I were both so nervous. And he was so nice, so patient, so informative. He took his time, made my daughter laugh and made sure the marks were perfect. We just can't thank him enough for such a great experience. read more

Make sure you ask for the price upfront! The service when we arrived was amazing, no complaints about that. The young lady at the front counter deserves a raise for her customer service. The tattoo artist, (I won't mention his name) should be ashamed for charging me what he did. He was friendly and we liked him a lot until it was time to pay. I take partial blame because I did not ask for the price upfront. The tattoo was the size of a nickel and a simple outline of a star. It was my Daughters first tattoo and she loved it. I also got the exact tattoo to match hers. This is not my first tattoo. I have many tattoos including a large piece that covers my entire back. I am not new to tattoos. I gave him a big tip before we even left the tattoo area. I would not have given him any tip had I known he would rip me off in the end. I won't mention the price for each tattoo because it is so ridiculous! Like I mentioned, since I didn't ask for the price upfront I accepted it rather then argue about it because I can afford it and he may have needed it more. I give to charity all the time! lol. The hilarious part about all this is that I paid an extra 5 bucks to be included in a raffle for a free tattoo (the value of 60 bucks). I'm curious what exactly you get for 60 bucks, the size of the tattoo I paid for was the outline of a star the size of a nickel. The 60 bucks tattoo must be the size of a period, a pin point, a beauty mark. LOL. Unfortunately, even though I accept part of the blame I will NEVER go back or have any of my family or friends go to this shop. I can only share my experience with this particular artist. My suggestion for anyone considering a tattoo from this location is to ask for the price upfront. read more

Friday the 13th was a disaster for many people- personally i stood outside in the cold for 9 hours... clown me all you want, i'm already clowning myself. anyways, we get right to the door and tattoos are shut down for the night. we were really disappointed, but it was understandable (at this point it was already later than when they would've normally close.) They said we could switch to getting piercings if we wanted which was honestly super nice, considering these workers in the shop have been non stop for many many hours. I didn't get the name of the guy who pierced me, but he did a wonderful job and made me very comfortable, as i got nipple piercings. obviously i can't include pictures but they look pretty great too :) read more

It's funny to see that the reviews are very high here. I came in to get an estimate and opinion of a tattoo and the customer service skills I received were honestly disgusting. It was very much "what do you want!" "I don't care" type of attitude. I'm actually on vacation right now and was looking forward to getting a tattoo but i was so disgusted by the customer service skills that it turned me off to their business entirely. I'm honestly shocked. It's one thing to treat someone like a customer rather than an equal but it's a whole other thing to treat someone like crap.. I got another tattoo yesterday at Atomic Tattoo! Another incredibly amazing job. My tattoo artist, Matt, even added to the original picture I sent to him. Very important tip at tattoo shops.... Let your ARTIST have the freedom to be creative! They do this everyday and we don't. Ask for their suggestions on exact placement, size. They are artists, you are not. Give them some freedom and you won't be disappointed. There are other people there then Matt. Each person has different strengths. Tell them what you are wanting and go in and talk to the guys to see who fits your personality. I'm so sad to be moving out of State. Danny has been doing my Bestie's tattoos for a long time! So when we decided to get friendship tattoos he was just the person to do them! Atomic Tattoos is clean, welcoming and they are very fair and honest with their practices and prices. We called ahead an they were able to squeeze us both in. Danny took the image drew it up on the special paper and we both approved the art. The process was sanitary as he used clean tools and made sure to wipe down the area I would be sitting in and propping my hand up on. He transferred the art work on the location we had agreed upon and then suggested we go to the mirror to see if we really liked the positioning. This is evidence of a seasoned tattoo artist. The overall process was quick and painless. Next up was my bestie and the same process with her he used sanitized new tools as well as wiping down and sanitizing the seating area where she would be propping her arm on. He transferred the art on her wrist again suggested that we go up to the mirror to confirm the placement. When we did we requested that it be adjusted ever so slightly and without hemming and hawing he kindly obliged. Danny was patient, professional and informative as to the care of our fresh ink! Clinton Pope did my first tattoo for me and he was extremely patient and friendly with me thru the whole procedure. I kept unknowingly pulling away during the tattoo and he calmly telling me without getting upset. He drew out my tattoo and put it on me in a shorter time than anticipated. I doubt I'll ever get a tattoo again but if I do, it'll definitely be from this guy! read more

Got a circle tattoo done on my upper rib! When another customer was making comments about boobs bc I had to take my shirt off my artist (don't remember his name) said something to make me feel comfortable and get the other customer to stop. Tattoo is done well, it was free handed and that can be tough for a circle. Also got a piercing switched out and the girl who did it was really great! read more

I came here about a year ago to get a basic helix piercing, not only was the piercer extremely rude, but hours after I got the piercing I start to experience a lot of infection symptoms but thought it was because the piercing was fresh. I continued to clean the piercing and treat it the way I had treat all the piercing I had, only for it to just continue to get infected. I ended up having to go to the emergency room just three days after to get the piercing removed due to how swollen it was they then made me go to an ENT to check the site and she said there was absolutely no way it could've gotten this infected that fast without dirty equipment being used. Not only did my cartilage almost collapse, I had to have the earring cut out all because of dirty equipment do not go here for piercings of any kind. read more

This place is on Point! I have traveled from far away twice now to get ink here! Shop is clean, professional, and a fun environment to be in. Art does amazing work and is fun to be around goofy but yet very professional. Takes what he does to the next level which shows you he cares about you being happy with the result. I have not had any ink done by the other artists done but their work looks great as well. I hope to have some done by a new artist my next trip. The only negative I can think of is I love to damn far away other wise I would keep Atomic tattoos very very busy read more

Super rude. Was flat out told by one artist that "It don't look like a tattoo I'd wanna do." Then the other artist gave an astronomical price quote because he clearly didn't want to "waste his time" doing it. Keep in mind, the tattoo is 3 inch, 2 color circular tattoo I wanted on my arm. Maybe they knew they didn't have the skills to pull it off. read more
