I got a quote from one of her songs. The artist Phil let us play around on the iPad with the font of our choice! It was really neat. The shop is super clean and a nice chill vibe with music playing. All the artists were busy tattooing other clients! My tattoo turned out perfect. Exactly what I wanted! Thanks Phil! figuring out my next tattoo for when I come in town!

I love the way he incorporates these "nerdy" pop culture icons into his designs (Star Wars, X-Men, Ghostface, etc.). You can tell how seriously he takes his craft and it shows in his work. I didn't hesitate to go for a decent sized Darth Vader on my shoulder/arm, and it came out even better than expected. Less than 6 months later and I went back for my second tattoo from Cory - a traditional looking dragonfly for my moms 60th bday (she's always had a dragonfly tattoo). Again, perfection. The shop itself is awesome - very clean and open, with flash splattered on the walls and plenty of books showcasing art/tattoos from well known artists for inspiration/reference. Fridge full of complementary waters/drinks. And other artists either hard at work, or just shooting the shit (which is entertaining enough to get you through a full session, thanks Phil). The tattoos aren't cheap, but neither is good work! Check them out on IG @blackswantattoo . Last but not least, Lovebird (fried chicken sandwich place) is like a block away and is a must stop to fill up before getting tatted.

I believe getting a tattoo is an intimate experience. I don't believe in opening a book and picking…read morea design off the wall. To me, tattoos should mean something. They tell a story, represent a memory, or symbolize a chapter of your life. You're trusting an artist to create something unique that will be part of you forever. Over the years, I've been to a lot of tattoo studios with friends and family--or simply walked in to get a feel for the place. Honestly, many of them felt uncomfortable or just weren't the right fit. I never found one where I felt confident enough to trust someone with something so permanent. A couple of years ago, my late husband wanted to give me a tattoo for my birthday. He asked around, and one name kept coming up: **Izic Woodall** at **Lyons Den Tattoo Company**. The moment we walked through the door, I knew this place was different. The studio is filled with incredible artwork and has a cozy, intimate atmosphere that somehow still feels welcoming and inviting. It immediately put me at ease. Izic has become my artist, and I can't recommend him enough. I'll show him an idea and say, "Something like this... but make it unique," and without hesitation, he's all in with a "Hell yes!" attitude. He's incredibly talented, professional, and approachable. I've spent hours in his chair, and the time flies because of the conversations, laughter, and genuine connection. Every single time, I walk in with an idea and leave with something that far exceeds anything I could have imagined. While Izic is my artist, I also have to mention **Craig Lyons**, the owner of Lyons Den Tattoo Company. Although he hasn't tattooed me personally, I've watched him work, and his talent is undeniable. More importantly, he's created something special--a studio that's clean, safe, welcoming, and comfortable. It's a place where people can be vulnerable, share their stories, and leave with meaningful artwork they'll carry for the rest of their lives. If I could give Lyons Den Tattoo Company 100 stars, I absolutely would. Thank you for creating more than tattoos--you create art, memories, and an experience that people never forget.

Lyons Den is probably my new go-to tattoo place in Lakeland/ Mulberry area! I've tried a couple…read moreother places around that I enjoy, but this experience really kind of went above and beyond. Craig was so amazing and though we didn't have an appointment with Izic he was also super sweet and interactive with us while we were at the shop. First of all, it can be so hard to find tattoo places that accept walk-ins. Tattoos are becoming more and more popular and acceptable in society, so most shops are super booked up with little time in between. But Lyon's Den does accept walk-ins if they have time! So, I found the instagram of Craig, one of the two artists and shot him a text message asking if my mom and I could set up an appointment or walk in that day or sometime soon. Honestly, I wasn't expecting at all to be able to get in that same day. But Craig answered with a lot 2 hours and said he'd have time in the evening! We were so excited. That evening we went in and had such an enjoyable time. We got smaller pieces done but I actually was able to get 2 small tattoos and Craig didn't even blink an eye. Sometimes artists can be picky or even a little rude when you want to get more but he was super go with the flow. And he really made sure that the placement of the tattoos would look it's best. It was also my moms first time ever getting a tattoo, and we told Craig that and he was super kind and patient with her. He made extra sure she was comfortable all throughout the process which I really think helped. Plus, they turned out absolutely gorgeous. Lastly, the prices were very reasonable even considering we were walkins. Their shop minimum is $80 so you want to make sure if it's a smaller one that it's worth that price. I will definitely be coming back here!

Our tattoo artist was Arik. He was so cool. Im terrified of needles but he was as gentle as he could be. Note: The shop minimum is $50. Also, I didn't no nor was I told, so Im giving my yelpers a tip... Check-in before asking the price as I did it the other way around and missed out on a 15 percent coupon. That's ok, Ill use it for later. The only reason I gave it a 4. Arik also guarantees his work, which is a plus. I got a small tattoo on my thumb, which the ink may reject but he will redo for free. Lastly, Arik is on instagram. So, perhaps, you could view his work prior to visiting. My sweetie and I went in on a fluke but are very satisfied.

I went to bed knowing something was wrong but thought in the morning my nose wouldn't be as sore and I can look at it better and see that I was being crazy. I was wrong when I woke up the jewelry was sinking into my nose. When I looked closer I could tell that my nose wasn't pierced correctly. She didn't pierce it straight through. It looked like she turned the needle too early. I went back to the shop to have it removed and asked for a refund. She immediately tried to gaslight me and tried to say she didn't see a problem with it. It hurt to laugh or do anything that involved your nose moving. I'm not stupid I've had multiple piercings to include my nose. I know what it's supposed to look and feel like. Then she refuses to give me a refund. So yall took my money, messed up my face, and tried to gaslight me within the span of 24 hours.
