Price Point - There are several meat options served here that are very expensive but we tried it all. My personal favorites were the Spicy Pork Cutlet, the Salmon and Rice Bowl, and the wagyu sirloin skewers. Being from Missouri I knew that the prices would be a bit more than what I was used to but it really wasn't that significant. For 4 people who ordered a little bit of everything, we spent 140$ That's three appetizers, 2 sides, and 5 main dishes. For special occasions, celebrations, corporate dinners, this place seems like a great option. Now, in regard to the portion sizes. Pretty simple explanation, they do feel a bit small. Lastly, do they have options for children? I would say no but that depends on what kind of food your kids eat Hahha. This is more of an adult restaurant not particular organized for kids meals. Overall, I definitely recommend everyone check this place out. The food is so fresh and flavorful. We lived the experience and would definitely come back if we find ourselves in town again.

I let the manager know that I was having a stressful day and they made sure we got a table within 45 seconds. I sat down, and Jade greeted us within moments from sitting down. Hands-down, this is my favorite location with the best staff. I highly recommend coming to Joey's in Southcenter and ask for Jade! My favorite was the chicken lettuce wraps! On the patio, Glen greeted me warmly and remained attentive throughout my visit, replacing napkins, refilling my water glass, and checking in to see how everything was. First order: Piña Roja ($13.25): The sweetness and tartness were perfectly balanced, making for a refreshing drink. Seared Salmon Sushi ($24.25): Creamy and full of umami, a squeeze of lime adds an extra kick. The generous amount of ginger was a nice touch. Second order: Low Alcohol Coconut Smash ($11.00): Creamy, smooth, and pleasantly sweet. Baja Cauliflower Tacos ($24.00): The rich sauce was delicious, but the tacos would benefit from a tangy or sour topping.

They're catering to the hotel guest but that's one of the reasons I liked coming here. It gave restaurant, bar, lounge vibes. The food is always good. I had the tacos with shrimp this day, but I've tried almost everything on the menu and like it all. Rose still works here and she remembered me which was cool. She's great! She deserves kudos for her great service. Once it gets warmer I will be here more often to enjoy the outdoor seating.

Luckily there were two different hot sauces within reach to drown out any flavor the "taco" was bringing. The taco's were literally a 2/10... Taco Bell does it better. The service was friendly.. but I'll never be back for a Taco Tuesday, the taste was unforgettably awful. Ambience was nice but there were literally 2 other people in the hotel restaurant/bar at 6pm.. which may tell you how Taco night is going.

The lobster was unfortunately an overcooked, but everything else in the boil was so good that it made up for it. Speaking of the sauce -- it was SO good. We got to choose our sauce and spice level, and it had the perfect balance of flavor, spice, and heat without overpowering the seafood. It complemented everything really well. We also ordered the calamari. It was crispy, but the batter was a bit heavy and could've used more seasoning. Service was great -- our server was kind, attentive, and checked in on us regularly without being intrusive. They also offer combo meals, which I thought were a great value for the amount of seafood you get. Overall, I'd absolutely come back. If you're craving a seafood boil with customizable spice and solid portions, this spot is worth it!

This was, by far, the worst dining experience I've ever had…read more The only thing we genuinely enjoyed was the popcorn crawfish appetizer with the spicy mayo dipping sauce. Unfortunately, everything after that went downhill. I ordered a seafood boil with Manila clams and shrimp, and both were undercooked. The shrimp had that soft, mushy, almost translucent texture instead of being firm with the slight snap that properly cooked shrimp should have. Every bite was unpleasant, and I couldn't bring myself to eat it. The Manila clams were even worse. They were covered in a slimy coating that made them feel unappetizing the moment I picked them up. The texture alone was enough to make me stop eating them, but the taste was just as bad. Instead of tasting fresh, sweet, and briny, they had an unpleasant flavor that made me question whether they had been prepared properly. I couldn't finish them. To make matters worse, there were gnats flying around our booth throughout the entire meal, especially all along the booth panels where my cousin and I were sitting. It made the restaurant feel unclean and completely took away from the dining experience. When we brought the undercooked seafood to the manager's attention, we were given two options: they could take the food back and "put it back in the water" to cook it longer, or we could take it home and cook it ourselves in exchange for a discount. Since we had already started eating and didn't feel comfortable having our meal simply thrown back into the pot, we chose to take it home and finish cooking it ourselves. The "discount" ended up being just $10.99. For a meal that wasn't properly cooked and that I literally had to finish cooking at home, that resolution felt completely inadequate. I paid to dine at a restaurant, not to go home and prepare my own meal. On top of the food quality issues, the customer service was disappointing. There was very little effort to make the situation right, and the way the complaint was handled felt dismissive. I usually drive an hour to Captain Crab because I've always had consistently great experiences there. I decided to try somewhere different this time, and it was a mistake. This experience reminded me why I don't mind making the drive. I won't be returning.
