I misread my wife's arrival from Chicago by three hours, and so I was looking for a place to eat with my dog near the airport. Sunnydale came up so I came in. The outside looked a little dicey, but the ambiance was perfect for my dog and I. The regulars were getting ready for bingo, so I ordered a beer, and felt immediately welcome - probably because my dog is a charmer, and I had on my mail man outfit! The bingo caller was hilarious - she gave my dog a pat and said into the mic "I just patted the hairiest bitch in the joint." So that's the vibe! And when a cheer went up for the bingo winner, my dog let out a little howl, which also cheered everyone up. A nice surprise. read more

Bartenders are rude and eager to cut folks off after a few pints. Food is okay at best. You'd be better off going to Georgetown where there isn't such a weird vibe where someone might beat you up, unless you like being in a bar where it feels like someone is going to hit you over the head with a pool cue. read more

This is it! This is the dive bar you didn't know you needed in your life. We found it accidentally and our lives have changed for the better. The interior is fun with tons of interesting decorations. The staff is quick with a drink and with a joke! I was craving pizza so I decided to try one out. Honestly I was expecting a discount frozen pizza, but the 10" was super cheesy (I ordered extra cheese too), cooked beautifully, delicious, and very filling! I could only eat 3/4 of it! This place is top-notch, extra cold beer, great ambiance, a pool table and lot's of great vibe going on at the Sunnydale Saloon. The servers here are very friendly as we're new to the place. Was able to share a table with someone already there and still keep social distanced. I really like this place and it's about 300% better on the inside than it looks from the the outside. I could easily become a regular here to hang out, watch television, drink beer and just soak up the local vibe. Love it. read more

Not sure we are regulars yet but certainly feel like it when we are there. Reasonably priced drinks, great atmosphere and entertaining karaoke on the weekends. They're back open! We just moved to the area and we've been waiting in anticipation for this place to reopen. If you are not one of the regulars, you are treated terrible by the rude blonde bartender and not welcome there. There are nooses still in the bar, maybe they could come into the 20th century and be sensitive to people. They over serve but watch the DUI, the cops have caught more people leaving. Since the owners are not local, they let their daughter run it into the ground. It is not worth going in there, there are so many places better in Burien to drink and not be treated terrible. read more

I absolutely loved this place. It had a very dive bar feel. I had the Aloha pizza which was phenomenal. Lindy, the best bartender, made me a cranberry mule that was to die for. It also happened to be bingo night. The staff was so friendly and made me feel like a local even though I was only in town for the night. This place is a must when you come through SEA. First time coming to this bar even though I've been a local for 6+ years. The vibe is such a cool small town bar feel and the food is GREAT. And very reasonably priced. We got the new grilled onion burger that comes with house made potato salad and both are delicious for only 7.95. Bartenders are very sweet and attentive. My family is regulars here----The one time I came to visit with my family it was horrible. I almost felt beyond offended they came at me in an unprofessional inhumane manner. I ordered food and was served 1 hour later and was told that the food was still going to come out and will be added to my tab after I stated I didn't want it after it being cold and waiting a hour. I'm not eating cold food. 5 minutes later the bartender comes to the table and says here is the tab and you and your mom need to leave. My mom had NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS. I am sorry I have to leave because the food was cold and waited a hour and you came overly aggressive at me in a manner I felt threatened. Wow! Definitely, not a good place and this will be shared on all media platforms. I talked using a inside voice and wasn't rude about it. I was polite and pulled them to the side. I found this little neighborhood dive-bar while trying to find a newer "trendy" bar, I'd heard was just opening. I'm glad I got lost on the way and decided to stop by. The place is dark and full of memorabilia from many genres. Some might say "junk." However, the local color and the great food make it a worthwhile watering hole.
