We had tickets to only one particular horse event around 2pm. This worked out great as we arrived ahead of time and stayed a little while after. The horse jumping we saw was very fun to watch. We also got to see some dog races which were hilarious! Some of the dogs would get confused and go the wrong was on the obstacle coarse. One thing is for sure, all of the animals loved to race they seemed super happy and eager. I was surprised by the quality of vendors - much more high end than your typical CNE vendors. There were very top of the line boutiques - riding equipment as well as artisan snacks and goods. I went a little crazy and bought all natural lotion, and some spicy sausages. It was a lovely shopping experience where you are supporting small businesses and getting great products in return. I'd come back just to shop even! The large cows and farm animals were fun to see too. The highlights were of course the horses and the little dog races. A great day in Toronto!

Great place to spend the day with the family or on your own…read more We come here every year and there is always new things to do and see. You can always get a good deal and specials on many things especially cheese. You have to go up and down each aisle otherwise you'll miss many good vendors and deals. There is too much to say about the RAWF so the best thing is to just go and check it out. Lots of things to see and do. Presidents Choice Animal theater is a great place to see a variety of shows like the Super dogs, Sheep hearing etc. Hundreds of vendors like, equine products, axes, clothes, leather products, clothes etc.... Great food vendors, Pizza Pizza, smithies, poutine, French fries you name it!

What a wonderful long-running event! I promise you I'm very big into animal rights and would never…read moreattend if they were mistreated. This Rodeo really does take amazing care of the animals! They are very well trained and actually live a very comfortable, happy, long life like professional athletes. They're beyond careful not to hurt the animals. I can understand how some people don't understand the nature or anatomy of live stock, but they are spooked, trained, or annoyed to react, not injured to perform, I assure you. They use flank straps to encourage bucking and strictly limit run time to avoid animal injury in bucking events. There are strict rules with disqualifications of cowboys if animals are wrangled in an unnatural or painful way. You get to see the animals perfectly relaxed and happy with their trainers and handlers before and after the event. You can even pet some of them. My only complaints keeping it from a 5 star event is that it's a dry event with zero alcohol and the boards you walk on in the stands are getting older and bounce a bit while you walk. It's safe and all, but needs updating. Other than those 2 things, it's phenomenal I highly recommend checking out this tradition!

Good ol' American fun!!! This place is so much fun!!!…read more I just came back from a real live rodeo, it was a blast! It's a family oriented place, activities for kids... entertainment for teens and adults as well.. It's easy to get to, plenty of parking ( at no cost ) plenty of food- snacks- ice cream- and drinks.. yes, I did see cans of beer, but I don't think there was anything harder than that ( I wasn't looking for any) . The prices of the food was very reasonable. Want to mention that there is an area for handicap seating... The event I went to was $25 and could have been cheaper had a bought presale ticket! The rodeo was well run, security was visible, and the scenery was just a sight to be seen !!! Gorgeous gorgeous area.. Cell phone service was poor - BUT WHO CARES!!! I had a blast and really didn't pay attention to my phone ( except to take pictures) . There were plenty of bathrooms- well portapotty bathrooms that were well maintained and also had two portable hand washing stations and a portable hand sanitizer station... There was vendors there, but I didn't really stop in for that, I wanted to see the cowboy's, errrr, I mean the bulls!!! Gates opened at noon today, show was 2-5pm and was enough to enjoy without over doing it... I'll be back !

The livestock and agricultural exhibits are always a highlight, especially the Agricultural Discovery Center with piglets, chicks, rabbits, and brand-new calves. I also learned way more about potatoes than I ever expected! We loved seeing the fainting goats, potbelly pigs, LEGO displays, artwork, and the Native American Village. The hoop dance was a favorite, especially when paired with my annual Indian taco. And the local vendors are a huge plus: Silly Yak's gluten-free foods (funnel cake and bloomin' onion hit the spot), Nickel City Vice (gourmet ice cream sandwiches), Half Baked Cookies, and Leveled Up all brought their A-game. By the end of two days, we had demolished fries, lemonade, an Indian taco, gluten-free funnel cake, GF bloomin' onion, corn dog, curly fries, and more. My wallet may never recover, but hey...it's only once a year. The grandstand concert was fantastic, with surprisingly great sound, and I loved that you can bring food, drinks, and bags into the concert area. Bonus points for discovering the empty men's bathroom when the women's line was approximately 47 deep. Bottom line: Go to the fair. Eat too much, learn something, see some animals, people-watch, and embrace the chaos. It's a Buffalo summer tradition for a reason!

The Erie county fair is the best of the best in respect to fairs…read more You have so many food vendors. So many different displays of county agricultural. They bring in different performers and artisans. It's all so fun! The parking is free so that's a major plus. They just added a new traffic circle on the grounds to better manage the traffic, which turned out just wonderfully. The grounds are really well maintained, with newer facilities in most of the buildings. They had some great housekeeping staff in the restrooms who were really managing all the people, I appreciated it so much! And there were different deals going on nearly everyday to get in on a discount for different groups of people. My kids and I had a really nice time seeing so much!
