My last fill was rushed, they made me stand while they were doing my nails, so disrespectful. They bubbled and cracked within hours, also overcharged me. I went in today to get my acrylics taken off, they told me a 15-20 minute wait tops, I sat in the chair for an hour while people came in 30+ minutes after me, waited for 10 minutes and were then taken to a chair and taken care of. After over an hour of waiting I left because I had to get to work. It only takes 10 minutes at the most to take off acrylics but they went out of their way to disrespect me and convince me not to return. Not worth my money or time, horrible service. read more

I have been going here for a few years. About once every 4-5 months. The last time I went was before a trip. They cut the heel of my foot so bad it has been 4 weeks and I am just now able to put on a shoe with a back on it. I had to keep a band aid and antiseptic on it for weeks. Still not totally healed. A group of five ladies went here on a Wed evening for pedicures. We called about 2 hours ahead and they were able to get in. The place was clean and had nice relaxing music playing. We paid extra for the "deluxe" treatment. 3 of the 5 of us got good pedicures and were happy with the results. 2 of us, including me, got the rush treatment. The polish was really sloppy and after 2 hours was still thick and sticky. By the end of 1 week my toes looked terrible. In addition to that I had tender spots on the bottom of both feet. And the man doing my toes, while nice enough, kept having to reprimand his young child who kept coming into the salon. read more

I'm not new to the area but I usually go down to the metro Detroit area to get my nails done. But after looking up nail salons in my area I came across Attractive Nails. When I walked in I was greeted and asked what service I wanted. I was taken to a chair immediately, the guy who did my nails was very friendly an fixed my nails from a previous salon. When I was finished I was highly impressed! I also got a pedicure and it was probably one of the best pedicures I had received from a salon out in the Novi/Farmington area. I absolutely love this place and have been religiously going since June 2015. I get a gel powder manicure/fill in every time and it lasts so long! Even on the 14-16 day mark I am still getting compliments! They also have a huge selection of polishes. I always have Nina do my nails but have also had her sister and her sister's husband do my nails and they all do a great job! Very sweet, funny, and personable. I have been going to them for about a year. The wife always seems to drill my nail down so fast that she burns me, and the husband while his filing my nails he cut me multiple times. Not just that when ever I wanted a design they would criticized me about wanting it, even with all this I always gave them benefit of doubt but the last time I went they made fun me for the design that I wanted even though I am the one paying for it. I decided to give this place a try after years of visiting another substandard type establishment. He wanted to do my nails another way than what I requested. After I corrected him, he gave me a complete attitude. He idn't talk to me throughout the session. I to go back and have a nail corrected- he asked another technician to fix it. I am not sure how this place has such high reviews. Maybe I caught them on a bad day? I had an appointment at 10:00 am for a pedicure and shellac mani and two people who arrived after I did were started before I was. I had to wait for another employee to come in to start my pedicure. The gentleman who did my mani/pedi was very polite and friendly, but the massage portion was greatly lacking in length of time and thoroughness. He did not even massage my feet with the lotion, just my legs. I did not believe he was done with the massage until he came back with hot towels. The manicure was satisfactory except that there was quite a bit of polish on my skin. I asked him to remove it and he did with no issue. The other employees were not friendly to me at all (although they seemed much nicer to their regular customers) and the place did not feel as nice or upscale as some of the other nail salons in Novi/Northville. The capper was when I saw a sign saying that they would add $1 on to all credit card payments. Never have I seen that at a nail salon. I definitely won't be back. read more

This place was a great find! I never would have known it was there but chose it based on Yelp reviews. For $2 more than I usually pay for my pedicures at another place, I got MUCH better service and pedi. There was a lot more massaging, better callous removal, and polish was done perfectly. Ihave a haed time finding a place that will do my nails the way i like. I have went to high end salons and had the worst mani/pedi. This place is nice and clean and do take walk ins but if you are short on time and know when your going to be there, i would call ahead. I have recieved mani/pedis from i think everyone there and never had bad service. They also are good with kids as i take my daughter there for a treat :) read more

Best. Salon. In. Novi. And let me tell you I have been to them all. No one is more consistent, welcoming or honest than the people at Attractive Nails. I am probably the pickiest nail customer around and Hung (the owner) does a great job every time. I get acrylics because I'm an avid nail biter (more on that later) and I get them done stiletto (pointy). Being good at acrylic nails is basically a given at a nail salon but after going to every salon in novi I have found that only here can they get Stiletto nails right every time. Now onto my nail biting. I am in this place at least once a week because I am always breaking nails (or ripping them off with my teeth... Oops.) and they never, and I mean never, give me a hard time about it. They just try to give me tips on making my nails last longer. This place is definitely not out for your money. They never try to take advantage of you. I recommend this place to everyone. Including my mom. And I think if I can trust them with my mom, anyone can trust them. Give them a shot! By far one of the best pedicures I've had. I upgraded to the deluxe for $10 more and was delighted that it was a real upgrade, not just an additional scrub with some sugars. 3 different products used, each with a massage,plus paraffin wax. Nails looked great and my feet are baby soft. I will recommend to everyone and will be back for sure (the next time I can break away from the kids). read more

Wonderful basic pedicure at a great price!

My experience at this place was absolutely terrible. I came in to get a pedi and mani and from the very beginning the lady rushed. I had polish all over my skin, the polish was uneven and my feet and nails just looked awful! I had to have her redo my feet and nails and when I voiced my concern the entire staff became irate. An older guy said to me "that's why we don't want your kind in here." (I am a minority needless to say.) I was literally shaking and actually began to fear for my safety. I was called stupid and even shouted at as I left their establishment. I don't think anybody should patronize this place just because of the racism and hate that they feel. As I remember back they didn't use clean appliances on every customer and overall the cleanliness was very questionable. Also there are no prices displayed. Their business ethics seem to be unethical as well. I would not recommend a dog to this place. It is beyond terrible and they are very racist and that was displayed during my visit. I will never go back and I recommend that no one go to this place. These are not the type of businesses that should represent any community. read more

After moving from florida and trying several nail salons in the state, I thought I would never find a place I liked, attractive nails is by far the best I have been in. First and foremost they are exceptionally clean and sanitize or use new products for each customer. They also use high end organic scrubs and lotions that leave my skin feeling great upon leaving into the harsh Michigan weather. They also have the best customer service I have ever experienced in a salon, they know all their customers by name which shows you they must be doing something right to have people coming back over and over; even when my sister came to visit me she commented "wow I wish the salons were this clean and the technicians this nice in florida". I have never been rushed out of here because they were "busy", they make sure everyone is happy before leaving. If something happens and your polish chips or a nail breaks they fix it for little to no cost. They also have a fantastic color selection with TONS of gel colors. They are also a family run salon and are very patient with giving children mani/pedis. While I see some reviews on here have complained about the price, I find them very competitive to places I have been with terrible service and I know here that my money is being spent well. I type constantly at work for anywhere between 40-55 hours per week and Diep has found a way to make my nails look amazing for WEEKS without chipping or breaking. For me there is no better salon in Michigan than attractive nails. read more
