From start to finish we really felt like Stefan and his team were partners with us. They helped us select the right flooring even though it was ultimately less expensive than what we originally thought we would go with. Never did we feel like we were being up sold or pressured. 2) Delivery and quality. Stefan personally walked the job before and after everything was done. They did not ask for final payment until we were completely satisfied. Scheduling was awesome. They worked around all of our challenges and hit our target start and completion dates with precision. This was super valuable because it did not delay our move-in date. 3) Remarkable, genuine, and lasting Customer Service. This is the third thing, but probably the most important. It has been over a year since they installed our floors. We have called them back three times now for help with little things that we did not anticipate. Stefan and his team continue to provide excellent customer service even though there really isn't much money in it for them. For example, we remodeled our bathroom and needed a new transition because the elevation of our bathroom floor changed. It's like a $50 product that surely they don't make much money on. But they delivered. Go with these guys. You won't be disappointed.

The key decision I settled on Millennium was their in-house hardwood engineered floors....9.5 inches wide coated with polyurethane, European hardwood, and it is astoundingly beautiful. Pricing for this would have gone more than 13 to 16 dollars per sq ft at other stores if I selected a name brand. Let's just say that their pricing was far less and that you'll be hard pressed to find something of this quality at any other store in the area at this price range. Don't let the visuals in the store fool you into thinking that the wood is too wide and long. Buying hardwood flooring is like buying a tv set. It can never be big enough :) The quality of the work was also fantastic. Home depot and lowes saw the picture of my stairs and mentioned that it wasn't possible to work on because of the bottom step. There's no way to replace the bottom step and re-engineer with the new wood. The team did an amazing job overlaying the wood and reconstructing a new stair on top of my existing stair. It was absolutely unbelievable. In sum, I'm very happy about my purchase and am glad to have worked with Stephan, a very passionate, kind, and reasonable business owner who treats his customers right. I wouldn't hesitate to go with Stephan again in the future for any needs I have.

They fixed issues that were happening while installing like bubbling from debris under LVP, stair nose trip hazard at the top of the staircase. They tossed white grout water out of the 2nd story window all over my black stucco. After 6 months tiles were loose in the master bathroom. Noah came to inspect and gave me a quote for $1200 to fix it. I'll stick with the other guys on the next one! Could have easily give these guys five stars but incompetence and greed were more important to these guys but thats just my experience.

I know, like you, I did not think they could get any worse..so so very wrong. I just lifted my couch to see that the safety gliders- you know the round things on the bottom of your couch used to protect your floors?- I now have FOUR HOLES in my floors where the gliders were. The floor has actually crumbled away completely in the exact shape of the protection gliders. It is clear and obvious that the overlay material the owner used must be incredibly cheap. We know dozens of families who all have concrete floors and not one of them has had the crumbling and chipping issues we have. Please, for your own sanity, use any other company- avoid this one at all costs. **** 1/20/2011 So a year later....we have lived with the floors for a while now. We are still having scuff issues but not as bad since we switched to a matte wax (per the owner's recommendation) as opposed to a high gloss. Still having major chipping issues, just found several more in my kitchen yesterday. The over all too dark, too reddish and splatter marks are for obvious reasons still the same so there isn't anything that can be done about that. Unfortunately, the samples he made us on 4x4 tiles were thrown away so I cannot include a picture of them for comparison. They were a medium tan color not reddish in the least. Which as you can see from the attached pictures, our floors are very RED- which we specifically asked to avoid....and they are very dark, which we specifically asked to avoid. You can also see from the attached pictures on my account page, it is pretty impossible to determine the finished color once the stain as been laid down but not yet blended. The problem with this is, the stain is already laid down so there isn't anything else you can do- you really have no idea what the end result is unless you do this as a living...which we don't. The owner responded that we lived 45 mins from town so that is why he was late every day. He would leave each day and tell us what time he would be back for the next day...our house wasn't moving overnight, not sure why he was still over an hour or more late every day. What time he arrived is pretty insignificant in the whole realm of things. Our issues are the overall color was nothing like the tan sample (and as he said, he can't really control that tho other contractors have said that is not true) and the fact that the floors are not holding up to normal wear and use. If one of my kids accidentally drops a fork it guarantees us yet another chip. It's so disappointing to pay a lot of money for floors but now have to constantly baby them.

My wife…read moreand I had to refinish an existing concrete slab whose original coatings from when we built (2007) had failed from the get-go, getting gummy and gross and melting anything made of rubber. Concrete polishing came into its own around 2009-2010 in the Austin area, and I really liked the option because it avoids coatings. Jason came highly recommended from a larger firm I knew about that focuses on commercial floors, and Jason helped us respectfully and honestly through the whole process, start to finish. Because it was the whole first floor of our house, we moved into a nearby HomeAway rental while Jason went to work. After a busy week of hard work, Jason delivered 1200 square feet of diamond-polished concrete on a slab that had never even been designed for such treatment. It has served us well for six years now and is by far the best floor surface I've ever lived on as far as durability, ease of cleaning, and day-in, day-out good looks. It's not a fancy floor, just a super-practical one that blends into the background when supported with nice rugs and furniture. The upfront cost, while not cheap, was comparable to laying hardwood, which would not be a practical choice on our main living floor. And the smooth, matte-finish, exposed aggregate we now have ought to last indefinitely. I recommend Jason and AllStar unhesitatingly. We love our diamond-polished slab concrete floor with the exposed aggregate and gentle luster.

The soft spot turned out to be rotten wood, and the entire floor had to be ripped out. The subfloor was replaced and reinforced. The entire floor was replaced, new shower pan installed, glass removed and reinstalled, some new shower tile, etc. Julian and Celso went above and beyond to help make this project as easy as possible for us while managing costs. I unfortunately did not read the reviews in detail before deciding to hire Levi and Finn Wood Flooring. I could write a book about the awful communication, but let's just say that this company has no customer service orientation--Levi actually told me I was "ridiculous" to express concern about the job. His guys were really nice but they did not cover any of the cabinets in the kitchen or pantry as Levi assured me they would. He scheduled a much bigger (more important) job over mine and delayed starting mine knowing we had already moved out. I ended up with a floor in a color I do not like, with big white spots from the sanding everywhere. He would not even come look at the floor though I asked him to. We never saw him after the initial sales call. Overall not a good experience at all. I would give one star but I liked the guys he has working for him.

Matterhorn came recommended from my wife's boss, and that put them over the edge as far as hiring them. They demoed our old kitchen, removed soffits and outfitted the kitchen for new cabinets. They demoed our old tile floor and installed the new vinyl plank flooring. Then after our cabinets and counters were installed, they assisted us with our appliance outfitting. As with any home renovation project, there are snags and problems along the way, and they worked through them with ease. I've heard so many horror stories of people having nightmare experiences with contractors during home renovation projects, but I can safely say you won't with Matterhorn.
