I will start by saying overall I am very satisfied with the end result of my flooring, it looks beautiful. The installers were kind and hardworking, they completed the job in less than 2.5 days for around 1000sf. Upon completion, I noticed there was quite a bit of damage to my existing baseboards. I reached out to Billy to ask if there was anything that could be done to remedy this as I was not aware there would be such significant damage. He then attempted to gaslight me into believing that he had verbally disclosed in our estimate walk though that there would be damage caused to my existing baseboards, which is not at all what I recall. Ultimately we settled with him offering a small amount off of my remaining balance which I do appreciate. read more

In February 2025, I had my floors (tile, laminate, & carpet) replaced with LVP flooring, as well as new baseboards, some drywall and doorway work. These guys do great work and are the cleanest construction crew I have ever had in my homes. They were a pleasure to work with and provided great value for the price. (Work completed in August 2022 in Austin, Texas near Slaughter and Manchaca) You really get what you pay for. Tx Flooring Pros was terrible at responding to messages, hired a subcontractor who didn't know anything about the job before showing up, and estimated to take 3 days but ended up taking 5. Then they have the nerve to call me the next day asking why I haven't paid yet when I couldn't even get hold of someone to ask questions before starting the project. They asked me to buy the wood and glue before starting (so they'd just do the install) but wouldn't respond to "this is what I bought, can you confirm it's the right stuff?" The whole experience was incredibly frustrating. Go with someone else and pay a bit more. The sub-contractor did a great job, was very polite, and did a great job with the tile removal and wood installation. I did have to ask him to come back to fix a few places where the wood wasn't close enough to the wall for the baseboards to cover it. Please, for the love of all that is holy, BEWARE and AVOID AVOID AVOID this company! UPDATE 2018: I just wanted to post an update on our floors after our nightmare experience with this company, who claimed in court that their shoddy work (which we found to be a breach of contract, as they did not install a floating floor as promised) was the fault of the cracked foundation. Well, it's been two years now, and the replacement floating floor installed by another company still looks perfect. There has not been ONE single instance of buckling or warping such as you can see in my photos below of Texas Flooring Professionals' job. The problem was not our foundation, but the fact that TFP company did not install the proper floor as agreed, and then would not fix their work. BEWARE AND AVOID. ******************************************************************** The fact that there are mentions of two lawsuits here that appear to have been filed by the company for payment against (presumably similarly) dissatisfied customers and for similar complaints (not doing what they said they would do) speaks VOLUMES. The fact that they would threaten to sue former customers for "slander" using identical language on a review site is also hilarious. In our case, we certainly paid this company. They did not sue us; we sued them. They were aware of cracks in our foundation before they went to work for us, and twice represented to us that they would install a floating floor to deal with possible moisture issues from the cracks. We cleared the room (twice, a job that took 2 days each time) and bought flooring and underlayment at their instruction (twice), and TWICE they ignored the underlayment and just glued down the floor over a cracked slab. Well, actually the FIRST time they glued down the floor over a cracked slab. Unsurprisingly, our daughters' floor buckled horribly within 8 months. The SECOND, time they didn't bother to re-install the floor as promised at all. They just pulled up and re-glued a few planks. Those buckled again within 48 hours. We lost our lawsuit for damages against them today somehow, despite reams of supporting materials documenting their various misstatements, and it was the final massive headache to add to the YEAR-LONG headache of the botch job they did on our daughters' room. As of this writing, we may appeal, on the principle that this may be some sort of pattern for them and we'd love to see it stopped. We have never sued a contractor before despite hiring many people for a variety of jobs around our house. We've been happy with deck builders, house painters, carpenters, you name it -- but these guys take the cake. BEWARE. (15 minutes later -- a fabulous update! Texas Flooring Professionals has REPLIED TO ME! That's amazing, as when they were working for us, you couldn't get hold of them for love or money, but never mind, let's see what they have to say!) **I understand you are upset that the court ruled and again notified you that you have foundation issues.** They seem to have to tell a LOT of people that they understand they are upset about what happened in court. The court did not notify us that we had foundation issues; your company knew that going in. It was why we CONTACTED you. TFP saw our foundation issues and recommended a FLOATING FLOOR that you twice did not install. This is so well-documented that I crave for you to "sue us for slander" so we can see you again in court. **Please take note that you also did not purchase your materials from us and are still using and walking on the floors that are not affected by your foundation crack.** No, we are not -- we finally gave up on you and had a real flooring professional, EL FLOORING, come rip out your shoddy, buckling, leftover work and install a floating floor to cope with moisture issues as you twice promised to do. Miraculously, he did it. It looks great. **If my company had done anything wrong, the court would have ruled in your favor.** Oh, that's not true at all. Please keep in mind that we have the option of filing an appeal or asking for a new trial, and we are now familiar with exactly what outrageous things you will say in court to prepare for. **I hope you are able to have the huge foundation crack that occurred 9 months after our installation and after the serious flooding repaired.** I have avoided using the word "lie" about your company, but that is so very demonstrably a lie that, again, I feel comfortable calling a spade a spade. There are pictures of that crack -- which your own inspector called a 5/8" crack -- from months before we even had the misfortune of calling you. **Although I do feel awful you have this issue...** Well, at least we can take some comfort in the fact that you feel awful. read more

I have been on this earth for 7 decades and never in my life have I had an owner act so horribly and unprofessionally as this one! Ashley tried to blame it all on me because I did not answer my phone. I told her there were no messages on my phone and that my only phone was a landline. She became belligerent and grew louder and louder until I finally had to simply hang up on her. She is a real piece of work!! BEWARE OF HER! I am So Sorry I listened to HardWood Bargains to hire these people to install my wood flooring. The reviews about no one being on time are VERY TRUE. They did not come at the time scheduled and the estimator (Billy) tried to argue with me that they had let me know they were running late. NOT TRUE!!! I emailed them constantly starting at 9 am and received no response whatsoever. When they finally arrived it was a man who spoke no English and a teenager who COULD speak to me but was not much of a worker. They did a good job on my upstairs bedroom but when it got later in the evening and they were working on my office they got sloppier and it is just too much to take it up. At one point they had 4 of the small wood pieces right in a row right outside my office. Billy did have them come out multiple times to fix a few things, but still frustrated on the way the office was laid, but just have to learn to live with it. My advice for anyone installing wood is to look at how it is laid and have them only use the long pieces of wood. Make sure it is random and that the seams don't all line up. If it is a small room watch even closer. And watch as they are putting it down, because taking it up later is hard :/ read more

They're not the cheapest, but my momma always said "you get what you pay for" and I got quality floors!! This is the 2nd time I've worked with Texas Flooring Professionals due to their quality of work. The first time I used them for tile installation for my guest bathroom and the job was completed 2 days later after my request. This time around I requested their help again after a major bathroom remodeling for my master bathroom and the job was finished within three days. The tile work is done beautifully and I'm very satisfied with the end result. I saw their contractor leveling everything out to make sure all the tiles are leveled correctly and he paid attention to every little details to make sure things are done correctly. I would like to give no stars. This company was anything but professional in our experience. Floors are very uneven, my floor has more hollow spots then not and they didn't screw in joists to subfloor on 2nd floor. Warranty is joke they wouldnt fix just a few days after. The owners of company are very difficult and were unwilling to fix problem. Check bbb orher negative comments. Make sure they tarp your house and tape rooms off they are working in or better yet use a company that cares about your home and property. They came in and installed 1600 sqft in 2 days, laying paper down during the install, putting in trim, and cleaning up after they were done. Also with an autistic son and very sick wife we needed glue with limited fumes. They supplied this and large industrial fans to air things out. Then with the sell and purchase of a new home I completely forgot about them. Two weeks later I remembered and followed up. I moved to Austin 2 months ago and purchased a condo that I completely renovated, I worked with Lowes, Home Depot and a local contractor to gut the place and replace EVERYTHING...After vowing to never work with Lowes flooring again (installed my tile and carpet) who made it a nightmare to deal with, I began searching for another option for the last piece of the puzzle...new hardwood floors. Not only did they offer to come out and bring samples to make it easy, they answered every inquiry promptly and worked with me to change my flooring choice at 11 PM the night before the install! Billy's crew worked quickly but carefully (unlike others I have worked with that dragged on and on) and any issue or question I had, regardless of how small or easy to address, was approached with an "I just want you to be happy" attitude. This was a small job (350 sq ft) and I felt like I was the most important customer they had! To top it off, they sent a cleaning crew out at no charge without me even asking when I mentioned that there was saw dust on some of the surfaces which I noticed the next day. Let me start by saying that the floors they installed looked great. But it ends there. I got multiple bids to install my new hardwood floors and Texas Flooring Professionals came recommended from Hardwood Bargains. Their bid was in the middle price point, except that Tx Flooring grossly over-quoted the sq ft needed and didn't included the fact that my stained concrete floor would need to be removed to glue the new floors down. I have a full-time job and I'm not sitting at my house watching these guys work so I don't know where the breakdown in communication happened. For whatever reason, Texas Flooring Professionals demo'd floor that shouldn't have been removed but not the end of the world. They quoted me 8 bags of concrete to level the floor. Next thing I know they're telling me that I owe them additionally for 28 bags of concrete at at a discounted rate of $25/bag. Say what?? Then I'm hit with a $1000 (not the $300 I was expecting) additional to install the floors. Like I said, the floors look great. But when I brought things to Christian's attention during the walk-through, it was like I was being inconvenient to point out that they scratched the walls and even tore some of the sheet rock when they moved the fridge out to put the floors down. He eventually agreed to fix the wall and scratches and the poor job around the fireplace after painful conversation, but their sheet rock fix didn't even last until I moved in the following week. They didn't use the transition pieces that THEY recommended I order. They opened all the boxes and left me 75 planks so I can't return anything unused. They left most of their trash in my garage until I asked them to take it with them. They used my hose in the front to wash concrete off whatever and left concrete in the front yard until I repeatedly asked them to clean it up, but my hose is still covered in concrete. They left my lights on, dust everywhere and tried to sneak in an additional charge on my final invoice. After I paid, I learned that my downstairs toilet that THEY pulled out and re-installed was leaking on my nice new floors. Billy was nice enough, agreed to fix it and made an appointment. Well, after I take a day off work, they never showed up! Then when I tried to reschedule, Billy started to tell me that it wasn't their fault the toilet broke and they're not plumbers. Really?? It hasn't been used since your guys put the floors in and now it's leaking and it's not your fault? Why offer to do the work if you can't do it correctly? Billy finally agreed to fix it, but wanted me to take off work again (disregarding the fact that I took off on Mon and they didn't show). Instead I asked if they could come in the morning since that's easier on my schedule. He told me he should be able to do that and he'd return my phone call. Well, I never heard from him and they never came after I took another day off work. The truth of the matter is that they would do a half-ass job anyways so I'd rather use someone I trust. The last thing I want is water leaking on my new hardwood floor and I don't really want to deal with them anymore. It was a terrible experience through and through. PERFECTION!!!!!! I can't say enough about TFP - Christian was reliable and thorough. His crew were a pleasure to have in my home- very respectful and tidy and most of all TALENTED! We had a difficult job. I have a Brazilian cherry floor that had been damaged by previous company. We had another company refinish approx 2000 sq ft of floor in our large home. It was a DISASTER. Stain everywhere, color inconsistent, different colors from room to room, repairs done with a completely different wood that did not match, finish dull and peeling, stair case unfinished, fill turned an orange color - DISASTER. We met with 11 different companies and were completely underwhelmed by each of them. Some doubled the price once they saw our house, others said "this is too hard of a job to fix" and didn't want the job, others were just shoddy workmanship. I paid each company to sand and stain a sample on my floor, NOT ONE SINGLE CO came close to the BRILLIANT color that these folks were able to achieve. They also used oil based poly which was harder to work with and took longer but was GORGEOUS in the end. The job was complicated (had to move wood from closets to repair what previous company damaged) and a challenge (had to make a red floor brown) but they did not shy away from the job and instead we're excited for the challenge!!!!! If you have any doubts ask them to give me as a reference and I will send gobs of photos. We have a multi million dollar home and TFP did a billion dollar job!!! I was looking for a company to install Hardwood flooring that I had recently purchased. I contacted a flooring installer and being quite dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism of the estimator, I then contactedTexas Flooring Professionals. The carpet was ripped out, heavy furniture moved, floors prepared and flooring installed in 4 bedrooms in one day. The next day the installers returned to finish the shoe molding and fine tune the job. We gave Texas Flooring a vey big job that required tearing up over 1000 sf of tile. They did an excellent job of removing the existing tile, the floating the concrete floor, and installing about 2700 sf of engineered wood. Overall we were very pleased with the job they did. We were charged $1000 extra for the float (level compound) which was NOT on the original quote but given the size of the project, I understand. That said, Billy should have told us about the float. Overall we'd use these guys again. Billy is strictly business, no BS kind of guy...just like me. So if you're looking for someone to hold your hand, etc, go elsewhere. read more

I wish that I could go back and change my decision to hire Texas Flooring Professionals. We hired them to lay carpet, hardwood and tile in our new home. Our house was a renovation project from the beginning so we were not there to babysit the installers. There was issues right from the beginning. The installers did not demo the old floors before laying the carpet. This was something that we paid for. They told us we would not be able to feel the old tile underneath, but we could. Billy did take care of this for us. He sent a crew out to demo the tile and re-place the carpet. It still has issues, but at least he was willing to try to fix it. As soon as we moved in, we noticed that the hardwood had a hollow feel to it - like a laminate. It was also not flat. You could feel bumps in it. Not only was the floor not level, but we paid for it to be leveled. We also think that they did not leave enough room for the floor to expand. I called Christian and had him come out. He told me not to worry, that if there were further issues, it would be covered under their warranty. Later that month, the living room floor buckled and started popping up. Christian sent a crew (different from the installers) and they fixed half the room. I asked to have the whole room fixed, but he only fixed half. A month later the other half of the room popped up. Again he only wanted to fix half the room, but I insisted that the whole room be replaced. He ended up agreeing to it We ended up having no flooring in that room for 3 weeks. We had a leak by our back door which was very small and was no where near the buckling. Billy said that was the reason we had problems in the whole house and that he would not fix anything else. I asked him to come out to see the house and the issue that we were having. He agreed to. Then he sent Christian again without telling me. We now have the floors popping up in the bedroom. We can't even close our bathroom door because of it. I showed this to Christian. In other parts of the house the floors are popping the baseboards up and they continue to have the hollow sound. I would rather have no flooring, then deal with this. Now Christian, Billy, and Ashley all won't call me back or answer my calls. This is the most un-professional business I have ever dealt with. From the beginning they have told me they would be at the house, I have waited and no one would show. I have spent many hours waiting on them to show and many hours calling and leaving messages, just hoping to get a call back. I also don't think that anyone that works there knows how to communicate with anyone else that works there. Save yourself the hassle and hire someone else. I sure wish I did. read more

The bottom line: our floors look great! The actual installers did a fantastic job and we are completely happy with the results. Getting there was a much less enjoyable experience however. I have nothing positive to say about the actual "project manager" of our install. Our project included 1100+ sq ft of hardwood, including a staircase. I personally attempted to contact the company at least 5 times in the week prior to our install, and my husband attempted 4-5 times during the actual install, left frequent messages, and never once received a return call. I even called to verify our material would be picked up and delivered to the house 2 days before install, and verified install date. The date the material was to be delivered (by 12:00, I was told), I had not received a call that they were on their way (the house is undergoing renovation and we don't live there, so I need to arrange to be there) by 2:00. I called at that time, spoke to Billy who claimed to not know anything about the scheduled pick up, but that he would call Christian (our project manager/contact) and call me back. I waited for 30 minutes but did not receive a call back, so I called Christian directly. He also didn't know anything about the pick up (despite my confirmation 2 days earlier), but said he would look in to it and call me back. He did not. At 4:15 I called again, wanting to know when my wood would be delivered, as they are starting install in the morning (they would start around 9:00 in the morning, per their report). Christian said his crews were on the way right then. I asked again to have someone call me when they are close to the house so I can arrange to be there and let them in. At 7:00, I went to the house and discovered the boxes of wood sitting in my garage. Apparently they went over anyway, failed to call me, and discovered a painting crew still at the house, so they left the wood. Overall, that was fine because the wood was there, but that at that point, that was 4 calls they failed to return to me in one day. By noon the next day, the DAY OF SCHEDULED INSTALL, no one from Texas Flooring Professionals was at the house. My husband called Christian to find out why. Well, according to Christian, whoever dropped the wood off ASKED THE PAINTERS if it was ok to NOT come on the scheduled day, but to come the following day. The painters couldn't care less what day the wood was installed! Christian never called to ask us, the homeowners, if they could postpone one day. We. Were. Livid. I guess in order to calm us down, Christian assured my husband that he would send a crew of 5 guys to do the install and that the entire project would be done in one day. He repeated ONE day. In the morning, when the crew of 3, not the promised 5, was there, they were like "there's no way we can do this in one day." Obviously it will take two days. There were other issues as well, I just chose to write about one. I will repeat that the installers did a fabulous job and I absolutely love the final product. That is the only reason my review earned two stars instead of one. I have never been so frustrated with the process, however. I can't believe the poor level of customer service we received. Even after knowing how upset and frustrated we were, it still didn't change anything. No follow up calls, no apologies for not returning any calls, for changing the install charge without notifying us, for not telling the installers our wishes for the design we chose, or simply not showing up, for messing up our appointments, and on and on. Do not use Texas Flooring Professionals! BUYER BEWARE! Everything I discussed with the project manager (Christian) about leveling floors with cement on the main floor and prepping sub floors on the second level; they did not do and had no intention of doing. I had to buy all my own materials from Home Depot and request the workers screw the sub floor to the studs to reinforce the sub floor the day of work. They did not have their own tools and I had to supply them with my tools and physically had to do most of the work myself. Ashley and Billy(the owners) were very difficult to work with after the work was completed and I called them up to address the problems and issues that I was having with office floor, master bedroom floor, and master closet floor that are all hollow underneath; due to lack of glue applied and nobody leveling the floors. They are angled so much a marble rolls from one side of the door to the other. In my son's upstairs bedroom you cannot walk across the floor with bare feet without the entire floor shaking and pounding from multiple studs not being reinforce to the sub floor. Instead of trying to work with me they threaten to put a lien on my home if I did not pay the bill. Ashley will respond to this post with complete lies and anything to cover up the horrible work they have done. I will have to have to hire another company to come in redo/repair the damage to almost $10,000 of hard wood flooring. If you want quality; DO NOT USE TEXAS FLOORING PROFESSIONALS! read more

This company came recommended by hardwood bargains and my experience was horrible. Didn't show the first day, showed 5 hours late the next day and finally work began late on the 3rd day. They had to come back 3 times for the stairs and it never was done correctly. The owner of the company came to my home and when I expressed my frustration he told me it was as good as it was going to get. I told him I didn't feel comfortable paying him when the job wasn't done properly and he says fine don't pay us we will just put a contractors lien on your property. I've never been treated with such disrespect and rudeness from a business owner. I paid the bill but am now on a mission to warn other home owners not to use this company. Horrible experience. Hardwood bargains said they would be sending out another company. We shall see!! read more

We were referred to this company through somebody that had used Hardwood Bargains to purchase their wood. They do a lot of work concurrently with them however we purchased our wood from an out of state location so that is where my story starts. I understand that this first issue was my fault for not reading the invoice in more detail (it showed the customer was responsible for the Tmolds and glue) and somehow I did not see this. TFP showed up (mind you they missed the first day we had them scheduled to show up) for them to ask me where the glue and tmolds were. I of course panicked and had to find the glue quickly (again my error for not seeing it on the invoice) but I must say I was surprised that nobody ever communicated to me that we needed this for them to start the project. When I asked them, they said Hardwood Bargains was supposed to tell you that to which I responded, I did not buy our wood from HB. I am only mentioning this because if you do not go through HB, please be aware you will need to purchase this all on your own and for us it was an extended cost of $1200). When they proceeded to start the laying of our floor, they were very surprised to see "real 3/4 inch" wood vs. the Engineered Hardwood. I would NOT use this company especially if you do decide to go with real hardwood. We chose a wood that was more rustic in nature and they laid multiple boards that had cracking (I am not referring to the rustic knot area, I mean hairline cracks that ran the full length of the board). I was not home the whole time so by the time we noticed them, they said it was too late. We made them come back to remove some boards which they did (which we did not want to do with the change of the boards coming up easier in the future, but really had no choice because they were THAT noticeable, they even agreed. I have found additional ones since they have done this, but not going to bother with them coming back again because they are at least not in an area we see daily). Some boards they claimed to fix I later noticed they just filled in with "putty" to camouflage the area. Our company that we purchased our wood from does not make Tmolds, so we had to tmolds to install. We asked them if they could make some with the leftover wood we had and they looked at me like they had no clue (mind you I called around to various companies in town that said they would do that no problem if we had a whole flooring project to give them, but it was too small of a project to come out to a house just for that. All of them asked, why can't the place you choose not do this for you?). Needless to say, my husband wind up making our tmolds to install a couple of weeks later (I will mention that they did come back to install them for us at least). There are just a bunch of other random things that turned me off from recommending this company to anybody. For starters, from the very beginning they had the wrong date to start our job (lost a half day of pto waiting for them only never to arrive). When they came back to install the tmolds, once again I was waiting and when 11:00 came and nobody had showed, I called Christian to inquire where they were. He responded with he would get back to me, he was not sure why they were not there. When he called back, he proceeded to tell me they "partied too hard for Mothers Day, and did not make it back to Austin.". Now, I understand things come up, but to have NO PROFESSIONAL COURTESY to call a client before that scheduled date/time to say, "hey, our crew won't be coming, please go to work so you don't waste another PTO day waiting for us" is mind boggling to me. Other things that happened include them chipping our fireplace stone (never mentioned it to us, found after they left), chipped one of our tiles, random girlfriend/wives with 2 year old babies hanging out in my dining room or on the front porch while they proceeded to demo my house. Now I am a fairly laid back person, but to have a baby running around barefoot in my house while jackhammers were going in a cloud dust storm, again mind boggling to me. Luckily nobody got hurt. I am giving them 2 stars because I feel had I used them for an Engineering Wood Floor vs. real wood, we would have not has had "as many" issues. To me, there is no excuse for not calling somebody to tell them when their crew will not be there, no excuse for damaging something only not to be told about it, no excuse for having a baby at the work site especially during the demo day, and no excuse for laying down boards they should not have that had cracks in them (we had plenty of excess wood for them to choose the best planks). Lastly, they went and put all the corner round up without dropping it off at our house first as discussed for us to paint. When I arrived home, it was already stapled even after I specifically called Billy to say "hey, please don't put that up yet, it was never painted because they just brought it today to us". read more

We recently bought a house here in Austin where the prior owners had one type of hardwood in the downstairs bedrooms and a different type of hardwood on the rest of the floor. We like the handscraped wood they had in the bedrooms so decided to match those throughout the rest of the first floor (~1500 sq feet) To match the wood we went to the same place the prior owners used, Hardwood Bargains, who recommend we use Texas Flooring Professionals for install. Unlike other reviewers they actually came in lower than competitor bids in both square footage and cost. They were also able to begin the job quicker than the others. The job is now finished and the floors look great! We couldn't be happier. There were a few minor hiccups along the way, but since we work from home and were able to be here while they worked we addressed them as they went with no problems. I suspect any company doing a job of this scope would've run into the same issues. I took away one star because they initially estimated the job would take 3-4 days (which was very important to us as we have small children who were still adjusting to a new home and we wanted to limit the chaos in the house). The job took longer I'm guessing because the removal of the prior flooring turned out to be much more complicated and time consuming than they originally thought. Oddly the installer knew this upon first glance the day he showed up so I'm not sure how Christian didn't know this when he came out and provided the quote. The length of the job might not be as important of an issue to others as it was for us. Overall we were very happy with TX flooring professionals and would recommend them to others. read more

I went through quote after quote with other companies to find the best pricing and selection for high quality laminate for a new property I just purchased. I couldn't be more excited with the quality of the work, the price and the quick turnaround from start to finish. Within a week of finalizing the order and having the flooring installed, everything was finished in great time. They kept me updated each day with the progress they were making and even sent me photos when I couldn't physically be there while I was at work. I love supporting local businesses because there is so much more time dedicated to making the clients happy. Totally worth it! read more

No, No, No. Bad Communication and Customer Service. Texas Flooring Professionals was able to beat a bid I had received from another company. I had questions on their bid; since I am spending a good chunk of money I want to know how the bill is made out and where my money is going. My questions were met with some attitude and the owner telling me they are still cheaper than the previous bid and that they are actually losing money on this project. Not once did an estimator come to the job, the bid was all done by comparing notes to the original bid I had done. The project started off with my toilet being removed and left next to my bed for a few days, workers belongings left on my bed and scratch marks from the demoed bathtub being drug on my walkway. The job required some plumbing which turned into the first plumber being fired and another brought in. One of the days no work was completed and I was not informed until I got home and found no work had been done. Turns out the plumber had to go out of town, but no one bothered to communicate that to me. The owner said he would come out to look at the scratches to have them removed and he never once came to my house. What should have been only a few days work turned into almost two weeks. I received the final bill prior to completion and it was over priced because the workers and the owner (who creates the invoices) did not communicate changes that were made. The owner has been hounding me, since he emailed the bill, for the money saying his workers need to be paid. A good company wouldn't need to rely on income from one small project to cover paying it's workers. Simple communication, follow through and more professionalism would have made this whole process a lot less frustrating on both ends. read more

We bought our hardwood through Hardwood Bargains, who referred us to Texas Flooring Professionals. The coordination between the two companies was seamless. We received a very competitive estimate for installation. The installation was scheduled to meet my needs. Phone calls were returned promptly, and contact was also made with me proactively to confirm scheduling, etc. The installation team of Manuel and Danny were awesome. The demo and leveling was a challenge, but they took the time and effort to make sure the floors were properly prepared. Great attention to detail; they obviously take great pride in their work. In fact the asked me to purchase felt furniture protectors and then they put them on all of my furniture before they moved it back into the rooms. read more
