Prior to reading our experience- please read others below. This is a consistent behavior and service the owner repeatedly expresses with no remorse for the appalling behavior. Our sprinkler service has had some ongoing issues due to water pressure and various leaks. However, while those are being fixed by other companies, it is imperative to note the unprofessionalism from this office. It is beyond abhorrent and apparently wildly known by other providers. While speaking calmly to the office to discuss our next steps, the "owner" became belligerent to the point of deplorable and embarrassing behavior. While putting the quality of service aside, which is its own thread, the disrespectful nature and combativeness is something I've never encountered from a business owner. I strongly encourage others to avoid a service call, issuing any payment, and avoid direct contact. It's very unfortunate to experience such nastiness while attempting something as simple as a sunk sprinkler head. Update- owner's comment is surprising as I was unable to get a word in about ANY concern without being inundated with her "thirty years of service" arrogance and her lambasting. As of now I have had 12 connections come apart and have spend countless hours fixing them then hired a professional sprinkler repair company and they get a ton of work in my development for the shoddy work of the installer and now have our entire street on their list of clients. Most have had to replace much of the sod as well for the continued failure of the lines. read more

Their rep Matthew came to my house last week for a routine problem. He was on time, pleasant and did a super job. Other companies did the minimum. He did the maximum. Reset all the bases that had been covered over through time. Adjusted all the sprinkler heights to better service that area. Trimmed away shrubs that were hindering spray broadcasting. Big difference from other local companies I have used. read more

I was stressed out about how bad my sprinkler system was so I called them to check my system out. They taught me how to use my timer properly corrected a few minor issues and now everything works fine. The best part of it is they didn't charge me anything and gave me great customer service. read more

To be Fair I wasn't going to leave a review however after some thought and some prompting from my wife I changed my mind. I just purchased this home and don't really know all of the problems with it. A couple of weeks ago I received a notice from the city that my reclaimed water usage had doubled and that the meter was giving an error msg of constant leak. I also noticed a couple of areas of grass that are growing a lot faster than everywhere else. I tried to get an emergency appointment with other companies and ATZ was the first available. So the tech, Randy, showed up when he was supposed to and started testing the system and he found that my system was setup with 4 zones but had 6 control valves wired in with 2 of the control valves buried without service box around it. Whoever installed the system didn't do a good job or the previous home owner wasn't very good at DYI. He found only one of the unboxed valves and said he couldn't find the other one. He dug it up because it was supposed to be the one causing the leak. After he was done "fixing" the problem which consisted of clearing some roots from around the valve I asked him to install a box around the valve so it would be easier to find and keep the roots out to which he told me he didn't have one on the truck and that I should go to Home Depot and buy one and install it myself. If I wanted to DYI it I wouldn't have called an irrigation company. the second problem he said he found was a broken sprinkler head in the front of the house which he said he replaced. well he did remove the broken sprinkler but replaced it with a cap on the line so no more sprinkler in that spot. Who fixes a sprinkler problem by removing the sprinkler? He also put a piece of turf over top of the spot where the sprinkler head was so I wouldn't see what he had done and it worked for a day until I noticed that my system was still leaking and that nothing had been fixed. I did call them and asked them to send someone else out to fix the problems again and they agreed to come back without another call out fee but after reading other reviews I decided to cut my losses and let them keep the $209 I already paid them. Originally I would have recommended this company, as they have been doing all the new development work for WCI in Odessa. Also, when the sprinkler system needed to be capped for a pool installation, starting in Sept 2022, they were out there immediately and we were told to call when the pool was done and they would come out me redo the system in the new area around the pool. But as we all know change happens and I don't know if it's the ownership or their scheduler, but we have been "on the schedule" for over 2 months. I'm not sure if the job is too small but each week I would call I was told it was next week and they would call the day before. I get it, there is only so many hours, so many workers, and larger more economical for ATZ is what they are going to prioritize, but they are still in our development every day! It now came to a head today, where we were contacted this morning to see if we still needed the re-install done. First conversation with my GF didn't go well, as she's been patiently waiting and words were exchanged, so I called back. I was immediately attacked when I tried to explain the situation stating "we aren't doing work for you", "how do I know I will get our money", "the richer people are the worst payers", "yes I own the company", "I don't have to listen to you as the client", "you aren't going to ruin my Friday", "I'm not going to be called a liar". Then she hung up on me- I couldn't get a word in! If the lady I spoke to is the owner, which I doubt, she really needs to learn customer service, dependability, accountability, and professionalism. For all companies are viewed by every aspect of each employee and the interaction with their clients and that starts at the top. Maybe today was a bad day for this person and we've all regretted, at one time or another, flying off the handle, but that doesn't change the lack of service for the last 8 weeks trying to get the sprinkler system re-installed. I have used this company in the past and they have done adequate work. However, their current policy is for them not to give an estimate of how much they are going to charge prior to work being done. This is understandable if they are doing some repairs and they are unsure exactly how long it will take. However, for a major installation, not to have some ballpark estimate of how much it is going to cost prior to having the work done seems suspicious and a poor business practice. I have never heard of a company not providing an estimate prior to a major job even after paying the fee to come out and assess. Update: I specifically informed the employee on the phone that I had some heads that needed repair and I wanted to expand our current system to cover a couple of additional acres but I needed a general ballpark estimate of what it would cost to do this. She said that it wasn't possible to have even a non binding estimate. read more

I called looking for a quote. Some lady answered the phone very unprofessional and unpleasant with a loud "HELLO!" Like I was puller her away from watching The View. She then told me they are only doing repairs, no installs. Any 10yr old can repair a broken sprinkler. I would say look elsewhere. Awful customer service, terrible attitude toward customers. She wont let you speak, will yell at you and talk over you. But when you say something she becomes poisonous with words. We have an issue with irrigation and needed a second opinion from them and see if there was a problem because of how much water was leaving through our irrigation system. Don't go with this company. Let me preface this review: I am a professional business person that has work in customer satisfaction, customer service, and professional success all my life. I am currently an Academic Advisor. I speak with individuals all day every day. I know very well how to communicate effectively and in a respectful tone. If I could leave ZERO stars, I would. This was the most unprofessional and rude experience I've ever encountered. There are two women in the office every day, Sharron and Libby. Libby is condescending, ridiculously rude, presumptuous, and the most disrespectful person I've ever encountered at a place if business. We were both concerned that the pricing for a visit was $70, as we've never had to call before, so I did call back and expressed that my I was unsure if my husband had had an opportunity to tell them what the true issue was. I was NOT disrespectful, nor did I use any profanity. I simply expressed the issues we were having and asked about the price. Libby, cut me off and was immediately defensive regarding my concern. She became condescending at this point, and every time I tried to say ANYTHING, she would talk over me. I asked her several times to refrain from talking over me, and she became belligerent and presumptuous, accusing me of things like stating, "You called in here to ask us to extend your warranty and you are DEMANDING we do so and that we come out for free!!". THIS was absolutely NOT the case. I never demanded anything. After I, again, asked she stop talking over me... she refused. So I just stopped talking and let her go on and on... eventually, she stopped, and after a pause, I CALMLY asked, "Can I talk, now?". Oh, this sent her over the edge. She all but started screaming and CONTINUED speaking to me like child. I stated that, yet again, she was talking over me and wouldn't even let me talk. She then started yelling... "I am talking over you!". She then put me on speaker, and I finally got to express my frustrations... at which point, I'm so angry I was shaking, but STILL, I was not rude... foward, but not rude. I called her out on putting me on speaker and heard Sharron start chiming in. Now, I'm on with both of them. I was told there were only two them. After Sharron spoke for a while, NEVER apologizing, I was silent... she asked, "Are you still there?", at which I replied... "Honestly, I'm just in shock at the level of disrespect and inability to be professional this entire conversation has been, and I feel very attacked..." Sharron continued to say.. well, "we're past that, we're past that...". THEY REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR BEHAVIOR. My thoughts were... NO, "KAREN", we're not past that! UPDATE: Looked at reviews on them via Google and saw others' complaints only to be re-attacked by these two women. One post to a former customer, they ACTUALLY HAD THE AUDACITY to expose (possibly falsely) an individual for being denied a job application/offer due to their extensive criminal background that they refuse to do business with people like him/her. Talk about DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER. Seems like this is exactly what they were doing to me. When I called back today to cancel our previous appointment, I stated, in a calm and respectful tone that I want to cancel. I said, "I was reaching out to cancel my appointment. After further researching your company and seeing a large amount of negative reviews, as well as experiencing the negative and unprofessional conversation I had you yesterday, we have no interest in doing business with your company." At which... surprise, surprise, Sharron cut me off and was clearly not interested in trying to make things right, began to insinuate we are beyond that now and that she was going to disconnect the phone, so this time, I cut her off, and said, "It's very clear that you all have no interest in hearing feedback about your business, so bye..." and I disconnected the call. Looking into reporting to the Better Business Bureau. I will be posting this anywhere I can online, and will of course expect them to reply in a way that paints me as a crazy person. ATZ installed our irrigation system when our house was built which led me to call them first when one of the irrigation pipes sprung a leak. The nice lady that answered the phone told me about the fees and set up an appointment. To our surprise, within a few hours, Wes showed up and quickly diagnosed the issue and repaired it. He was friendly, courteous, and didn't waste any time. I would recommend their services. read more

I wrote a review and received an unprofessional reply from the owner...calling me "irrational" and stating that I did not understand the process. Yelp apparently has removed my review. I had an unpleasant experience with this company as they charged $79 just to show up...then on top of that they charged me$85 an hour. The owner is rude and terse when you question their billing practices. i would encourage anyone to get a quote in writing in advance...I certainly would not recommend their service to anyone read more

I called on 12-17-2021 to see when someone could come to my house and look at and repair my system. The lady on the phone explained the billing process and how the scheduling is done. I was told that the they will call the day before, but they may be able to come out on the 12-17-2021 if a spot became open. Much to my surprise they were able to make it to my house the same day. The tech that came to my house was named Matthew and was excellent. He explained what was wrong, how to fix the issues and even how to test my system, my self. My experience was quite the opposite of what Lenny, Annie, and Chad described. Their comments are kind of petty and seem odd to give 1-star ratings. A service tech drives to your house and fixes your problem and then complain that you're charged the flat $65 fee for arriving on site to fix YOUR problem which covers 30 min of service. Just amazing. It takes time, money, resources, and fuel to get to your job. $65 is a bargain. Anyway, all costs were very clear when we called. They called day before with time window and 30 min before arriving. Service tech explained everything after job and was professional and friendly with our dog. They were supposed to fix my leaky pump and they made it worse , had to keep it unplugged. Was told that it wasnt their fault that I have a plastic pump ( which is a well pump ) . I called another company , replaced the PVC pipe that A to Z worker put in and fixed it with no problem , works as new and do not need to buy another pump like the rude lady wanted me to do . heads 2 feet outside our property line. When I called to ask them to move it the receptionist started quoting me pricing. I simply asked if they would fix it being such an obvious error but honestly I figured I would have to pay for it anyway since our home is three years old and was planning on doing so until the receptionist told me our home builder requested they put it there, which I highly doubt again, because it's outside our property line. I told her if that's the case I'm calling the home builder back to discuss it with them. She then got extremely defensive, told me our home builder requested they put the head there and told me I was attacking her. Have used this company in the past with very good results. They are not nearly as good as they used to be tho. The receptionist was very pleasant on the phone gathering info on the problem and our availability. When they said they could come on a Thursday I was delighted- tho reminded her that were had to leave @ noon for an apt. They finally came about 1:20. Did a fine job adjusting the sprinkler pattern- but nothing else. Charged $680.00 for 2.5 hours work. Put lots of risers in- of course now I can't even mow over them. Charged $300 for 12 rotors- but told me 'ran out' and there's probably a couple more that are leaking that should be replaced. Never fixed the 2 heads that are in the boxwood hedge that he said he would elevate. I've spent 2 mornings now trying to fix them. I called to complain about Joe- and the receptionist that was soo nice when I first called started yelling @ me! I was polite- didn't expect any $ back or anything. But until I was able to get out and mow-and actually see each head I hadn't realized what a sloppy overpriced job I'd gotten. bottom line- Top price paid for a third rate job. read more

Called to get a service quote. Tried to schedule appointment on weekend or outside 8am-5pm m-f to get a quote. Would not budge on their business hours. Which this is understandable. The receptionist that answers the phone is very rude and speaks over you. Also uses technical terms that only a sprinkler pro would know. How do I know what pieces or parts need replaced. Or of the main is hooked up to anything and the thinggy majiggy?? I thought it was your job to evaluate? Either way would not recommend based upon on my interaction with her. I also emailed on there site for more info. Suppose to get a call within two days. Never happened. Had to call them 3 days later and give all the info again. I reached out to them based on a recommendation to repair my sprinkler timer, they were nice enough to accommodate my next morning scheduling, however I was able to repair it as the service tech was driving up. He touched and that was it, was there for two minutes, then charged me the full $65 service fee, I tried explaining I would pay something for their time but I felt a full service charge when he literally got out of the truck and walked to my timer and left was ridiculous. They didn't care and charged me the full half hour anyways....I then asked him to at least sit at my house for the half hour and pretend he's working. This is the type of poor customer service that I would not recommend. I agree I should be charged for their time, but he could have been gone in 5 minutes with some pay and moved onto other jobs making the company more money. read more

They have always been positive and supportive of work requirements and helped the neighbors to whom we recommend them. They are responsive, reliable, and do their work quickly and at a fair price. If anything is wrong, they will return and fix the problem almost immediately. I called to have our time check but i can already tell awe needed a new one and he replaced the timer with the hunter digetal one and he charge as $ 295 + $ 65 for the call time i reseach that time online and it cost $ 75.88+ tax. I also found the work sub par. Holes were dug to inspect the head and not refilled. Some heads which were not working properly appeared to be untouched. When I called to discuss these issues the receptionist was very defensive. Her primary message was that I would be charge with a service call if they came back. I have used this business in the past and was satisfied but I will not use them again. read more

What crooks! They are trying to explain themselves for stealing my money by commenting on my previous review.. Yes, I asked them to fix the sprinkles the first time they came out, and the next day to install the donuts. That's it. After, they told me that the best way to maintain my sprinkler system is to sign up for their monthly $65 services. And again, it cost me about $500 each month because they kept telling me that my sprinkles were broken every time. How is this even possible!? Just criminals!! read more

Something stinks here! BEWARE! The customer service person that told me she had been there for years and knows every appointment was nothing but rude and blamed me on the phone for causing the equipment to malfunction.She denied I had called before leaving a message with my address and problem. I did. I asked her to tell me possible cause why my pipes had burst and I had a flood everywhere and she was one of the most unprofessional people I have dealt with in years. I am familiar with sprinklers as have several homes with inground sprinklers and when I asked her specific questions as what was done on the service call just prior to the leak she became very defensive. I asked to speak to service tec.that would be coming out to fix the problems and again she became quite defensive and refused me. I believe the work was not done the first time as she it was.She told me that the service tec always reviews the work with the home owner . This is not true.
