This restaurant was recommended to me so I cheated on my regular go-to spot and it did not disappoint! My plates were so packed the lids wouldn't close all the way. The food was delicious. I will be returning.

Plantain

The fruit was terrible and tasted old, the rice was lukewarm. The pickles was not fresh and tasted old old. The tassot turkey was ok. So disappointed. First and last time eating from this place. There are wayyyy too many great Haitian restaurants to be spending money on this. Threw out my griot plate.

Mind you that's not the only Roach I saw there.

DISGUSTING, EXTREMELY NASTY, PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE. Just dirty. Honestly think about your health, poor hygiene and bad communication. IF you American DO NOT go there, honestly ANY RACE, I wouldn't even bring my pets there. The city need to shut this place down NOOWWW... Ain't no way people can eat at this place. This place had to be one of the dirtiest places I've been, roach crawling everywhere like big roaches all over the wall and you can here animals running through the roof, Imagine how nasty and unorganized the kitchen must be. Food went straight to trash. No ma'am never again.

Griot complete - griot, diri pwa rouge, banan frit, salad and pikliz (fried pork, haitian rice with red beans, fried plantain)

You ever go to take a little bite but end up eating half the plate while standing up before you even settle in. That's what happened. Order their griot for the first time and was not disappointed

This food is so plentiful and very tasty. I don't know the correct name but it's the fried Turkey with the black rice. So so good!

Straight to the meal. Visited on 12-8-12. I ordered the Griot complete. I've had griot before. Even made my own. This was so fricking good. From the Haitian rice dish to the griot itself. I don't eat much rice, but this dish was amazing. All the different ingredients just work in this dish. I swear I couldn't stop eating the rice. The pork was so flavorful, crispy yet tender on the inside. The service was okay not great, just okay. I plan on calling and asking for the recipe for the rice and pork.

Went to this place one more time. I called at 12:18PM. They tell me food will be ready at 1PM sharp. I asked to confirm they said "1PM SHARP" Arrived at 1:22 as I was running late & food was still not ready. I did make a $64, 8 plates but it doesn't explain 1 hour to get read from time I called but also 22 minutes delayed from time I was told to arrive. When I complained about the time, there answer was "If you came on time, it would have been ready" Not sure if it was jockingly or seriously but I in tuen replied. I will give you a bad review online. They then offer free drinks after I talked about the bad review. Now, I give it 3 starts because the food is in fact good, great! Some say Amazing! But again, the wait times are unacceptable.

Pretty good. Service could be a little friendlier. A smile would be nice. The food however is very good. I do recommend for takeout

Food taste so nasty I had to throw it away. What a waste of my time and money. I drove all the way from Boca Raton to this place.

The ambiance is that of a fast casual restaurant with and order counter and tables lining the outer perimeter of the restaurant. There are TVs playing as well. The service wasn't particularly friendly, the two ladies up front seemed more interested in chatting than helping me with the menu. The lunch special came with a soda but they do not offer diet soda and they will not substitute bottled water. I walked in for pickup, and the two lunches probably took 15-20 minutes to be prepared. My husband got the griot, which was flavorful but dry. I got the stewed chicken which was slightly overcooked and underseasoned. I did enjoy the fried smashed plantains, but the rice and beans tasted weirdly ashy? We barely touched those. The pikliz was only ok. Overall, I would not return as I was disappointed.

Everything tasted well seasoned and made with care. My o ly issue was the macaroni was sooo cold, as if they didn't even bother to warm it up and the griot was really dry. Overall, If you are looking for great Haitian cuisine that leaves you full and somewhat satisfied, this spot is definitely worth a visit.
