Let me start with the enjoyable. I really liked how they renovated an old building. They kept the nice brick structures and industrial ceilings. Nice wood work especially at the bar. There are lots of interesting interior designs that make you feel at home. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. They did a good job explaining the menu to a first timer. When you enter you grab a menu from a stand - it is well signed but impersonal. There is signage that directs you to order at the bar. More impersonal impressions. The food menu has a decent variety to choose from. The beer menu is rather large. The non beer alcoholic selections were very thin. On this occasion they were out of two of the three sangria selections. The food was disappointing. The chips and cheese appetizer is large with lots of chips. The salsa is sweet and tasty. We thought it tasted a lot like Picante brand. The cheese was thin and dry and just kind of there. The chips were sprinkled with a dry rub which added some needed flavor and salty pop. Overall...I wouldn't recommend. The peach sangria wine was very good. A delicious sweet taste. Very refreshing. Great for a warm summer evening - definitely recommend! My wife had the Ole Ford Pita and really liked it. The pickles that come with this dish were very tasty. They had a nice crisp texture and vinegar bite. They do have a bit of a spicy kick so beware! The chicken quesadillas was just there. The salsa was the same as what came with the chips & cheese. A nice sweet and cool taste. Mildly spicy. The quesadilla was kinda small for $10. There were a small amount of chicken chunks which were moist and tender - but no discernible seasoning. The Cole slaw side was nice. Large pieces of cabbage with a mild mayo taste. This has a nice cool and refreshing taste on a hot evening. The baked beans were okay. They tasted a lot like Walmart baked beans out of a can - which I like. Just nothing special here. read more

Have wanted to make a stop here for a LONG TIME, but trips to The Fort or thru just didn't allow until last night. Sure wish we still lived near to make more stops. What gearhead wouldn't love a car/shop themed brewery?... Hop Rod DIPA didn't dissapoint - nice hop-forward character with a slight dank nose that is very pleasing. Also tasted Grease Monkey and took home a growler of both. Service and atmosphere are off-the-charts in the Automotive birthplace of Indiana. VERY much worth a stop (or many) and assuming your a gearhead save time to explore NATMUS, ACD, and the other places that make Auburn so special... read more

While walking around downtown Auburn, we stumbled upon this wonderful brewery! I loved that the building is an old gas station, and with plentiful outdoor seating, and a large indoor area it's a comfortable place to grab a beer or two and hang out for a while. There was a nice variety of beers to choose from, so we decided to try a flight. I loved how it was served in a little tin tray - cute and easy to take to a table. There was a nice variety of beers to choose from, and the names fit in nicely with the auto theme of the brewery. Out of the beers we tried, we really liked two of them and the rest were fine, just not our favorites. I will definitely stop by for a drink the next time we are in Auburn. Five stars for atmosphere and four for beers in my book! read more

Stopped in for a beer, unfortunately due to Covid they are only doing carry out. Luckily, staff was filbert friendly and gave us generous tastings before we bought some cans to-go. Loved the atmosphere, had a vintage service station theme. Which is perfect for Auburn Indiana. Looking forward to going back in the warmer months. They said that they have a small kitchen but warm months on weekends they have food trucks. read more

Very good local brewery! Many drafts worth trying, nice staff, games and USB chargers. Cool atmosphere that they've maintained the gas station feel from the past. The diamond hands made with edible glitter is delicious as is the grease monkey. If you're traveling on 69, make the stop here. Well worth it! read more

I lived in Auburn until I was 13 and still love coming back to see how the area has changed. My best friend brought me here and I loved it. I remember the building as a service station and was surprised to see after looking it up that the building has been around since the 1900s! The owners maintained so much original charm and I loved the thoughtful details such as the gas pump beer taps. The sampled beers were very creative and I appreciate the hard work of the owners to develop not only a very appealing location, but also interesting and flavorful beer. read more

I LOVED this place! We were on our way to Beer City (Grand Rapids, MI) from Cincinnati and Auburn was a random lunch stop. Upon spying the super cool old service station, now brewery, we knew we had to stop in. The theme is ON POINT in this place, and we just loved it. In fact, other than New Holland and Founders, the rest of the breweries in Grand Rapids were not as cool as this place. I hope to find another reason to visit again. read more

Auburn Brewing Company has made it's home in an iconic downtown Auburn service station. A beautiful building that had seemed lifeless for decades was brought back to life and turned to Auburn's newest hot spot. While respecting the building's history, the owners have branded ABC flawlessly, all while creating a trendy vibe without feeling schtick. Beer flights served in pans that are reminiscent of something you'd find in an automobile type environment to beer tap handles that look like gas pump handles are some of the thoughtful details that are found at ABC. The beer selection has something for everyone, light, dark, IPAs, fruity, and recently adding a gluten free option. The owners have done extensive traveling and research to develop their beers, and have incorporated some fun and unique flavors such as peppermint and cranberry/sage. Kombucha is an option for nondrinkers. Fork and Fiddle serves up their amazing food. A new addition that I am personally very excited about. ABC provides a over 21 social atmosphere that appeals to everyone with live music on the weekends, board games, and sports on the TVs. The owners of ABC are very philanthropic. With certain purchases, their Beer 4 Good program allows customers to choose one of 3 charities that ABC will make a donation to. How cool is this place? Very!! Check it out for yourself. They have dessert that changes. When we were there they offered 4 types of cheesecake. We got some of the pub fries and they were good, maybe a bit salty. The French pressed coffee was awesome. They'll let you take a small taste before ordering a beer. I really enjoyed it in here. This was a very active and festive Saturday night. Lots of energy! I had 2 beers. A rat rod and a Vienna and mosaic. Both were good. The rat rod is delicious with a super good orange finish. Great atmosphere and good beer. read more

The beer is really good and the variety is excellent! I also love their location. Rather than sticking to some stock aesthetic, they lean into the history of their building and their city by theming it after a classic car filling station. This place is so cool!!! An old gas station turned microbrewery! The decor is perfection from the light fixtures, to the garage door, to the bar, to the different options of seating. Although food and entertainment is not nightly, the first time we were there, there was a fantastic food truck and full band. Please support this small business!
